A Great Experience

This is my 4th North Star purchase...A 2017 Silverado. Since the time I first decided to visit, I've never even considered another dealer. The staff, from the receptionist to the GMs, are all class and courtesy. I've never felt so comfortable buying a vehicle. Each person I have experienced has made me feel like I was the only person that mattered, and that's good stuff.

Outstanding Service

The service rep was very polite and professional. She quoted me an approximate 1 hour for 2 recalls to be performed, they were completed in 45 minutes as well as an all around the vehicle inspection was completed (unexpected). I am very pleased with my service because never had I had someone actually speak with me and go over exactly what was completed. Also, she recognized my On-Star was not activated. She walked me through the step by step process to complete this (sadly, the truck was bought somewhere else, and this salesperson failed to advise). My truck will be now serviced through North Star! They have gained a customer and I look forward to purchasing other vehicles as well from this dealership. I appreciate their service!

Great Experience!

Everyone expects to have a miserable experience making a deal for a new car, and that the dealership is going to be shady and try to rip them off. I had not bought a car for 12 years and was REALLY NOT looking forward to the process. But I am happy to say that the 2 gentlemen who worked with me (Francisco Moux and Brian Anderson) were great, and the pricing was very straightforward, and the dealership as a whole seemed very open and friendly. I don't feel like anything was hidden or shady or underhanded. Overall I can't say enough good about Brian and Frank and can't thank them enough for making the whole process enjoyable instead of stressful. (And I love my new car!)

Not only did they permit to test drive the Impala 20 minutes prior to closing. They also offered to come in on their day off to help me decide which car I wished to purchase. Ronnie D and Anderson were so down to earth and pleasant and patient. The finance manager was extremely helpful and spent time with me to decide what warranty and GM protection plan I wished to choose without any frustration. I have owned a Saturn for ten years and still absolutely love it! I had my vehicles narrowed down to a BMW or Infinity, but could not enjoy all of the features the Impala offered and I might add the professionalism of the staff. BMW and Infinity dealership employees tend to be, well, to put it nicely, not as pleasant. No chips on shoulders at North Star. Even requested quotes from other dealerships but did not receive the professionalism that the North Star employees exhibit.

Great service from all staff, very pleased

Where to begin, I have been buying my cars from North Star for years now. When I go in they treat me like I am their number one priority, not just a number. My latest purchase was an 11 Equinox LTZ. I did an internet inquiry with Sheila and Joe, went to the dealership and spoke with Joe, Sheila and Brian. They set me up with a salesman who was very professional. No haggle deal, Perry handled the financing flawlessly and was out the door in my new V6 AWD 11 Equinox LTZ in no time. The dealership followed up with me after the sale to ensure everything was going well both by e-mail and US mail. I have always and will always suggest this dealership to my friends and family. The personal attention given by the named individuals is superior and so is the Equinox. Thank you North Star! Nick L

Great Service at North Star

Frank Morabito in the service department is great. Whenever I come in for routine maintenance he always treats me like I am his number one priority! He even ensures that my 11 Equinox LTZ is handled with kid glove. Today I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation and my ride home canceled on me. Frank arranged for someone to take me home. Very Disappointed in North Star Chevrolet (previously Seretti Chevrolet)

One year after the purchase of my 07 Impala, and 8 or 9 visits to the service department (I have since lost count), I have come to the realization that I made a HUGE mistake in purchasing my car here. Why is it SO hard for a dealership to fix problems of a brand new car that was purchased from their lot? Aside from replacing the ISS, replacement of key fob/remote start system due to misreadings in the tire pressue monitor system (twice),re-tightening of stability bars that for some reason were loose 2 months after purchase, front left strut needing a "grease pack" to eliminate a horrible noise from front end, this dealership has not been able to remove/correct the countless noises I have complained about in the dashboard/door panel areas of my car. This is my 4th brand new car purchase (first Chevy, and LAST FROM THIS DEALER) and had no issues at all with the other cars (Subaru & Pontiacs) well, my last Pontiac had a couple of very minor issues which the dealer's service department GLADLY and in only 1 shot corrected. A brand new car costing over $25,000 should not have the cracking/creaking/popping noises as mine has...and most everytime I take it to the service department at NORTH STAR Chevrolet, they "cannot recreate the noise"... That's only because they don't want to acknowledge it, fix it and fix it right in the first place~! Just horrible dealing with this service department. Even early on I was made to feel uncomfortable when dropping my car off. And twice I was told "we feel 99% certain we have identified and corrected the noise" and that the car was taken out for several test drives. With only 3 miles put on the car that's several test drives??...and yet the noise is still there?? A few months back, they had offered a free oil change for the hassle of having to drop my car off YET AGAIN...well no thank you. Faith ran out and is long gone for this service department, and I will not purchase here again for FEAR of having to go thru this all over again with a different vehicle....Unfortunately, I will probably stay clear of Chevy's as well because of all the issues I have had since the second week of having this Impala.

The manager made us a deal on a suv and our trade in; when we went back 2 weeks later because my husband had to go out of town on business, the old manager had quit and the new manager would not honor the deal. I told him I still had a voicemail from the salesman confirming the prices we agreed upon, but he didn't care; he said they couldn't go that low. They were very dishonest and would not keep their word.

dealer sells used over book and offers under value for trade

I would not recommend using this dealership. I was told by 2 different salespeople that the price of the certified used vehicle I was looking at was below sticker, but within the edmunds guidelines. Went to the dealer and wasted 1.5 hours only to find out the took off $500 off of sticker, and were still $4500 above edmunds price. then they offered me $4,000 less for my trade than edmunds value. There was a deal that fell through on the vehicle previously, and when I brought that up, the sales rep and manager played dumb. Next day the sticker price was dropped $1000 ($500 less than they offered it to me at), but still $4000 over edmunds and KBB. These people are [violative content deleted]. I would not use this dealer if they were the last chevrolet dealer i town, and I love Chevy's.
