i bought four tires in the summer of 2015. it was one of those buy three, get the fourth for a dollar or some bs like that. i had to go back about 3 weeks later because the rear driver side tire was going flat. so, they decided to patch it up instead of giving me a new tire. i had my car inspected in sept 2016, and my mechanic stated the patch was close to the surface and i should get a new tire. i took it back to faulkner, and they did nothing. i should not need a new tire, a year after purchasing one from them. they should last at least five years. at the time i was purchasing these tires, my clutch was going bad. service quoted me $2000 for a new one. i can get one done by my mechanic for $1000. they are nothing but [non-permissible content removed] in faulkner toyota of harrisburg.

Great experience

I took my RAV4 for an oil change and to see about correcting outstanding recalls. There were 3 found, 2 were quick fixes, and the other would take a while. It turns out they corrected all the recalls in addition to my oil change which I consider fantastic because it was all done in one trip. I left the vehicle which means they took me home and picked me back up in the courtesy car. In all, it was a great no hassle and satisfying experience. I drove off a happy camper with no more worries of recall issues that I had been procrastinating about. So thank you Faulkner, a job well done.

First service appt at Faulkner Toyota

Good experience for the first service appt after buying a pre-owned van. Service was about the length of time they told me to expect. Waiting room is ok but two TVs are too loud. Once I was the only customer left I turned them all the way down. If you need to work, there is a 4-stool shelf you can use for your laptop. Wish they had a separate "quiet" area with a couple of tables/desks for business use (other dealerships do) so you can get away from the TV and kids and people on cell phones. Service was reasonable and the car was washed. Very nice staff.

When I drove into service bay, we wee greeted by an employee. I had an appointment for state inspection. Service writer was very efficient. The car was washed and vacuumed at the completion of service. Everyone working at Faulkner Toyota are friendly and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to that wishes to purchase a vehicle and get great service.

Took my car in for the 5000 mile service at Faulkner and subsequently my RAV4 developed an oil leak due to a loose oil plug - loose enough that a quantity of oil dripped out over the next few days. Faulkner did provide a full oil change at no charge; however, they believe my car was tampered with. I think it is too coincidental that I did not have a problem in 6 months and that, after going in for the 5000 mile service, then I have a loose oil plug. The service manager and I are at a stalemate, but I doubt I will take it back to Faulkner for more customer friendly service. Hopefully, Bobby Rahal will be more considerate.

I wasn't worth their time.

So after my car was struck from behind and totaled, I found myself in the market for a new vehicle. I had been looking at Camrys off and on for some time, and pretty much new exactly what I had wanted. A friend of mine had had a good experience with the Edmunds internet service, so I figured I would give it a try. So I went ahead and filled out the form to request prices from area Toyota dealerships. I stated that I knew what I wanted and also that I knew what I was going to pay, and simply stated that the first dealership to get me there would earn my business. Of course, within several hours, they had all responded. Most of the responses were the canned standard and pretty much a waste of my time. The representative from Faulkner made a weak attempt of offering me an attempted competitive price, but was still way out of the ball park. So I moved on. I began working with dealerships that were not a part of the Edmunds program. Of course, I kept receiving canned inquiries from Faulkner. Then I received one on a Sunday and thought someone might actually be ready to make things happen. So I responded and informed the representative that I had negotiated a deal that I was happy with, and that if they would meet or beat it, that I would be willing to give them a chance. Instead of making an honest attempt, I had the luxury of several more canned responses, telling me how great the dealership was, why I should buy there, and invitations to test drive a car that I had already decided I was going to purchase. Needless to say, I did not purchase from Faulkner, but from a nearby dealership instead. The dealership that I purchased from was not one of the ones that I had received quotes through Edmunds from. You would think that in this day and age, car dealerships would understand that the internet is a tool that many people are making use of to purchase their vehicles. It's unfortunate that some just haven't figured it out. After the impersonal service that I encountered with Faulkner, there is just no way that I could recommend them, which is obvious since I went elsewhere to make my purchase. If someone simply would have taken the time to put forth a little effort, things may have been quite different.
