New Car Purchasing

byandrewtostion 01/11/2017

I was recently in the market for a new car. After going to two other dealerships, I was referred to Peruzzi Nissan. The staff at Nissan greeted my wife and I when we walked in and set us up with the appropriate employees. We never felt pressured during the entire buying process. The staff listened to us and understood what we were looking for in an new car. They worked with us and made sure we got what we were looking for at a cost we could afford. Bob Seidenberger and Joe Suter were very detail oriented. We both agreed this was, BY FAR, the best new car buying experience we had ever had.

Great Service Center, TERRIBLE Service Manager.

byseanryan92on 02/19/2018

Currently in Nissan Peruzzi and extremely disappointed in the service I just received. This service location has always been terrific and always gone above and beyond to assist me with my car needs. I have sent many people here through referrals because of how great the service that I receive here. After today, that will not happen again. I was in a week ago for an Inspection and I was not able to complete my emissions because my codes had been cleared. Not a big deal. I rescheduled a week later to come in, which my service manager said should take only a couple minutes. I come in today and right off the bat the manager is extremely rude to me. Tells me this is going to take a VERY long time. Then puts a paper in front of me ready to do a full inspection. I had already reiterated that I was only here for a follow up, which he ignored. I had him check it which he fumbled around doing. This surprised me because he has service awards/plaques all over his desk, so you would think he was good at his job. This is a great service center, but DO NOT use Joe Sullivan. He is terrible. Depending upon on today goes I may or may not come back. If I do come back, I will never use Joe Sullivan again. Extremely disappointed Peruzzi Nissan.

Great Service

bydraakaron 01/09/2017

Peruzzi Nissan is very attentive and they follow up with you and send text and emails to inform you of everything that is going on. I've been there twice and i have not had a bad or unpleasant experience. The first time i went was a little longer than i expected, but they coming over to apologize for the delay which i appreciated and understood it was quite a few people there at the time.

Bad service experience

byKarenBrowndorfon 10/05/2015

I purchased four tires on Friday morning from Peruzzi Nissan and by 5:30 the two front tires were flat. I had the vehicle towed to your location and I was informed (after I called to check on the status) that the tire pressure sensors were bad and I was given an estimate to replace all four sensors or have rubber valve stems installed at no cost, I chose the rubber valve stems. On Friday it was recommended that the sensors be replaced but when I asked if not replacing them would cause a problem I was told that it would not cause a problem but the tire pressure light would stay on. When I went to pick the vehicle up Saturday afternoon I was informed that a third tire was flat on Saturday morning and I was told that three sensors were replaced, not four. When I questioned why the fourth was not replaced the service manager became annoyed with me and told me that he never said he would replace all four sensors (although the estimate on replacing the sensors was for four sensors). His annoyance grew when I would not sign the invoice. Needless to say this was not a good experience and I will not be returning to this dealership for future Nissan purchases or service on my vehicle.

Horrible service/dealer

bywf215on 02/10/2015

On 06/01/2013 I purchased a 2009 Nissan Altima from Perruzzi Nissan. My salesperson was Joe Welsh. As I test drove the car, I noticed a rattling noise that I made him aware of, he explained to me that the car had a CVT transmission, so the car would make that noise. I have never owned a Nissan, so I didn't know what to expect. I purchased the car, because at the time the car drove good. On 02/08/14 I took the car in for service (oil change) the service advisor stated that I needed (3 tire senor's) he gave me an estimate of $250.00 each tire sensor, when I explained to him that I had warranty he stated that I could leave it and he would install it, but I explained that I could do this work at a later time. I returned on 05/10/14 to do an oil change and install the tire sensor's, but when I returned to install the tire sensor's the service advisor Robert Shabe stated that all I needed was two tire sensor's. On 10/11/14 I took my car in for an oil change, at that time the service advisor Christopher Blood, advised me that I needed shocks for my car, but on the service slip given to me with the recommendations, the shocks were not included. On 01/05/15 I dropped off my car for a rattling noise. On 01/06/15 the service advisor Christopher Blood called me stating that my car had several issue that included the following: Transmission pan and my exhaust had a small leak and he said that the car had several other issues, he never addressed the rattling noise. This was the same rattling noise I initially heard when I purchased the car, but just a lot louder. On the evening of 01/06/15 I went to the dealer to speak to the manager Bill Stecklein about the issue. I expected by speaking to the manager that he would address the issue with the service advisor, but to my surprise he was rude, he did not want to listen to my concerns, he tried brushing my problem off. He advised that he would check the computer to see what the car was serviced for in the past. He stated he had no record of my car being serviced there. I showed him my past service receipts, since he was not helpful I asked to speak to his boss, Robert Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker advised to leave the car overnight stating that he would personally take the car out the next day for a test drive. On 01/07/2015 Mr. Shoemaker called me and advised that the rattling noise was coming from the exhaust of the car. He asked if I could leave the car yet another day, so that he can double check it. On 01/08/2015 Mr. Shoemaker calls me and confirms that the noise the car is making is coming from the exhaust system, he then advised me to replace two clamps, so the rattling noise could stop. On the evening of the 8th I picked up my car from Peruzzi Nissan. While driving home I heard the rattling noise again, after the car sat in the dealership for three days they still did not fix the noise. On 01/10/2015 I called the dealership again for the rattling noise. They advised me to bring it in on 01/14/2015, I asked if I could bring the car in sooner on the 01/13/2015, they advised to drop if off that night with Christopher Blood. On 01/13/2015 I arrived at the dealer to drop off the car, I spoke to Christopher Blood and he advised that I didn't have an appointment. I explained to him that I didn't live near I had drove 26 miles, Christopher advised that he would speak to Robert Shoemaker, his boss, so Robert asked Christopher to get in the car with myself to take a test drive. Christopher drove the car and advised that he did in fact still hear the rattling noise. Christopher asked if I could bring the car to get serviced on another day, I explained to him that I couldn't come back I needed the car serviced ASAP. I left the car there to get serviced and I asked him if they would provide a loaner car so I could get home and he advised that they could drop me off at the bus stop. I had the worse experience with this company and the worse customer service. I was planning on purchasing a new Maxima with this same company this year, but after this experience I am not. I just wanted to complain of the quality of servicer "Peruzzi Nissan" provided.

Excellent service

byEabramson88on 01/15/2015

I only have good things to say about Peruzzi Nissan. I had gone to another Nissan service center, and they were not thorough and wound up missing a major transmission issue. I called Peruzzi, and they got to work on my car next day. They listened to my concerns and were extremely thorough. My car was running like new when I got it back. The entire process was seamless and I was kept in the loop the entire time. I have been back since for regular service and am very happy with all aspects. I would absolutely recommend Peruzzi Nissan to friends and family.

Our Business is You

byRupprecht1on 08/12/2014

"Our Business is You".....you're not kidding. From the moment I walked through the doors, the folks at Peruzzi couldn't not have been any nicer. My salesman was very knowledgeable and made sure that I got the car that best suited my needs. And I couldn't be happier with the vehicle that I chose. Friendly atmosphere and friendly people. Very pleasurable experience and I won't think twice about going back there for my next car. My Business Is Yours:)

Peruzzi Nissan: Buyers Choice

bycmass105on 08/09/2014

Have leased 10 vehicles from Peruzzi's in the past 18 yrs. Always personalized service, and they work with your financial and vehicle needs. They alway make you feel like you are the only customer in the show room, courteous and ready to answer all questions or concerns. I would recommend Peruzzi (and have) to anyone looking for a 'fair deal' on a vehicle purchase or lease.

No Pressure Environment

byjasonbumon 08/15/2012

I was suprised by the no pressure approach. I hate going into car dealerships and always feel as if I am fresh meat in the Lion's cage. Peruzzi did not make me feel this way and I actually let my guard down a good bit. Great deal on the new 2013 Altima and a fair value for my trade. What really impressed me was the finance office- again my guard goes up when walking into these offices. No Pressure again! Even about the warranties! Here is a the icing on the cake- they did not try to steal any points on my less than perfect credit.

Lied to!

bymetsgal31on 07/11/2012

I emailed an offer on a specific car on Peruzzi's website. Within minutes, my phone rang. The woman told me she's looking right at the car I was inquiring about and I should come down and look at it. I drove an hour to get there only to be told that the car I was talking about was sold the day before. When asked if there was something else they could show me, I stormed out of there and bought the car I wanted at Pine Belt Nissan in Toms River. I've told everyone I know of my experience and hopefully, none of them will even give Peruzzi a look. Ivan, the salesman, was very kind and apologetic, but he couldn't change the fact that the woman said, "I'm looking right at it".

Best Dealership for New Cars.

byzhoudon 01/03/2012

I traded in my SUV with a brand new 2011 Nissan Quest at this dealership. Before I made the purchase, we went to several dealership, but this dealer had the best offer. Highest trade-in value (very close to Kelly blue book value under good condition) and lowest price (lower than the invoice, almost $5000 below invoice after manufacture rebates). Considering both trade-in and price, they beat the rest of the dealers by more than $3500. The only difficulty was the sales rep, he was not very knowledgable; he did have some knowledge, but not much more than I know about the vehicle. For example, I knew the vehicle had a feature for garage door openers, just don't know where to find; so I asked the sales rep, surprisingly he told me the feature was not available, unless I want to upgrade the package. Fortunately, I did my homework before I go in there, eventually I found myself. Other than that, everything else went well. Especally we got a good price. So in summary, if you know what you want to get, they will give your the best price. But you have to be careful about the sales rep's word.

Horrible Service!!!!

byjr2011on 12/09/2011

I will never take my car there for repair again. I'd rather take it to PepBoys... This dealership has the worst service department ever. Extremely unprofessional. I would have given them no star rating (0), but I had to add at least one to be able to submit.

A scammer dealer- try to charge more for service

bycarisfunon 09/03/2011

When I had an oil change in June, I asked the service manager for the cost of the exempt inspection in PA, he said $19.95. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for the service. I asked for the price on the phone and Joe confirmed $19.95 again. However, when I went to do it, they try to charge me their regular price of $34.99. Gilbert, the service manager, was very rude and he didn't have a good excuse. He just said we have to charge you regardless of what. I rather drive to another place to have it done for about the same price ($34.99) and not give this [violative content deleted] the money. I will not go to this dealer again.

Peruzzi Used Cars and Service Department

bygly2on 06/01/2009

Stay away from Peruzzi Nissan. They say they are certified but they don't pay attention to basic details. On my 07 Nissan Max the air filter was extremely dirty and the cabin filter was dirty too. I went to another deal to have my oil changed and they informed me that my filters and wiper blades needed replacing. I only had the car for less that 2 months which means they really don't certify their cars and make sure the basics things are replaced before reselling their cars. I complained about it and they said "it's a used car what do you expect?" I expected those things to be replaced if it has the certification from a reputable Nissan Dealer. Another Nissan dealer (Turnersville Nissan, NJ) informed me those things would have been replaced without hesitations. Also, stay away Gil Peruzzi, Service Department. He was unfriendly and had a pompous attitude; perhaps because his last name is Peruzzi.

do NOT go to peruzzi nissan!!

bytlcruzon 10/08/2007

i brought my car in to have it checked out in june 2007 since the service-engine-soon light was on. we explained to the gentlemen (talked to about 3 different guys!) that it was the code coming up was for the cat-converter. mind you, my cat had already been replaced elsewhere (i moved from CA to PA) in january and this was only 5 months later. they said they had to do a diagnostic test on it to see if it was that. we told them we didnt that since it had one a week before. come to find out, no surprise to us, the cat-converter needed to be replaced again (my car has two. dont ask me why) and they wanted to charge me over $1800 dollars for the work. NO! since my car was still under the warranty for the cat-converter, i had them order the cat-converter. i would not have to pay for it since warranty did. i told them that i was not going to have the work done there because we're treated disrespectfully to me and my fiancee. the gentlement in the parts department on the other hand were more helpful in 10 minutes than the service department in 2 days. if i need anything else, i will not be returning here except for parts. and the costs for the work to be done? less than $500 dollars elsewhere. I would not recommend this Nissan dealer to ANYONE!!!!
