oil change and complimentary vehicle check

I had my first oil change on my elantra gt sport which was complimentary and the vehicle check and I had a few questions for the assistant service manager Dave who was very helpful. He came out to my car and took the time to clarify my questions regarding vehicle settings through the interface which were confusing to me, since the Manual is a bit vague in making it easy for the customer...upon completion of the service Dave told me that Raphael who is the Service Manager was out in my car attempting to adjust the Smart Cruise Control settings for me. We took a drive in my car and he was able to adjust the settings for me regarding the distances that I wanted set for the proper spacing behind the vehicle in front of me when the smart cruise was set. It is now clear to me what I need to do when adjusting this setting in the future. He was extremely helpful in doing this for me because another dealership may have said to just read the manual which as I previously stated is not always simple to understand...to me that is going above and beyond which I highly value...both Raphael and Dave should be highly commended

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe from them; the finance guy sitting there is a smug and very irritating person. The sales guy seemed more like a friend to the finance guy instead of being nice to us. Faxing in the buyer's agreement was a big task for him. and they faxed an agreement with incorrect price, even after telling them 10 times that its not showing the correct value as i paid more cash down as written in the agreement. When i walked in to buy they told me a very very high percentage for the auto loan; after getting a loan approved on my own through my bank he got irritated further and was rude and misbehaving. He spoke rudely and threatened me that going through the process on my own might end up in not getting the car. The most rude people i have ever met. The finance guy was using sarcastic comments and a very rude body language like pushing chairs and siting in authority and tried everything to intimidate me and make sure i take the finance through them. Once all settled he behaved like a smug and didn't even do the paper work properly... They ruined my experience of buying a car. I would suggest not to go to them even if you have to pay extra somewhere else. After all the happiness of buying a new car was ruined by them and it was more like a harassment to go through this deal. And it's still not over. i am working on settling all the mess he made with my bank paperwork People dealt with: David Roberts Sales person Bob Finance person

Horrible Experience

My husband and I went into Fred Beans Hyundai on several different occasions, in between doing additional research on the car we wanted and the price we wanted to spend. Each time we went in, we were hoping to make a better deal with them. They were not willing to deal with us, and in fact repeatedly gave us higher prices each time, as if we did not understand that's what they were doing. The manager came out to speak with us and made a spectacle in front of the entire place, ridiculing us about the offer we gave, in hopes to settle somewhere in the middle. They made it very clear they were not willing to deal and told us "they were trying something new called not losing money on cars." We then went to Ciocca Hyundai in Quakertown, had a fantastic experience, only spending 3 hours in total there, getting the exact price we wanted. Would not recommend Fred Beans, don't waste your time!

We purchased an Elantra from Tim Bergey in January and unfortunately were involved in an accident in March where the vehicle was totaled. We returned to Fred Beans Hyundai, and to Tim Bergey specifically, to buy another Elantra in April. Tim was as easy to work with the second time around as much as the first! He listened to our needs and covered everything in great detail. We will definitely be returning to Fred Beans Hyundai when we need another car!

I've had the pleasure of working with Tim Bergey twice when in need of replacing a vehicle. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about today's vehicles and am pretty picky when it comes to the parameters I'm trying to achieve with my purchases. Tim has incredible knowledge and experience in both the service and sales sides of the business and can speak to a car's long-running reliability or the lack thereof. I know that when I ask him his opinion, he is not just trying to sell me a specific model, make, or year. He's trying to find the right car to fit my lifestyle and needs and that's an irreplaceable quality in such a competitive market. Pleasant Experience

I generally hate buying a new car and will put off doing it as long as possible. But is was time again after 11 years and I had read good reviews about the Santa Fe 7 passenger model AWD. So I set up an appointment at Fred Beans Hyundai, even though the dealership is an hour away from where I live in NJ, because I have a relative who works for another Fred Beans dealership and she would get a bonus for referring me. Tim Bergey was assigned to take care of me and he made the whole experience quite pleasant - pricing, getting me a good value on my trade, and financing were all handled efficiently and professionally. To top off the experience, Tim even went out of his way to personally deliver the new car to me and pick up my old vehicle at a location that was about an hour way from the dealership in Doylestown.

My wife and I were looking for a new car. We though we could only afford a new Elantra. Tim Bergey showed us a few and then suggested for our family of four perhaps a slightly used Sonata would be better for us. They had the exact Sonata in terms of color, mileage, and price we wanted. We were going to be thorough and visit 2 other dealerships. But why? Fred Beans had our car at the price we wanted. Tim wanted us to be really sure, so he arranged for dealer tags to put on the car and said we could drive it for the weekend. Well, we came back and bought the car. No buyer's remorse whatsoever! We absolutely know we made the best purchase for our family. Tim was a huge help. No sales pressure or games. Just really nice people to buy a car from! And they honored the free 1st oil change as well...no hassle.
