Wonderful Experience at Colonial!

I just signed my third lease with Hyundai, and my second lease from Colonial, which I believe speaks volumes to the staff and customer service at Colonial. Neal is an exceptional sales rep. He was there to answer all of my questions and he did the research to find me the perfect car within 24 hours of first meeting him! Great experience and I definitely recommend Colonial and Neal!

A place that will get you in your car

I had the pleasure of getting my car from this car dealership and all I can say is what a GREAT STAFF yes I did have a moment that was not a good experience ,The night before I went to dealership,but the next day I got a call from tom and a email from Neal asking me to come back so that we can work out a deal and by golly we did get the car for what we wanted! Neal is a awesome salesman and will do all he can to work with you, a good straight forward kinda of guy! Tom will listen and compromise to make deal! Lindsy who we spoke to first was the one that gave us the confidence to drive almost two hours to this dealership,Ty Lindsy I luv my new car:) and the owner John let me know if I am looking for a certain car let him know and he will sure look for it! I say drive to this dealership its worth it you will be pleased

I bought a Genesis G80 Sport and Neal Y was my sales person. He was very helpful, answered all my questions and a real nice guy. Something you don't always find at dealerships these days. They gave me a great price on the Genesis and on my trade in ... no hidden tricks. I would highly recommend the car and the dealership to anyone.

I purchased the vehicle mentioned above last night. My father and i had a great experience, and our Sales associate Neil Yeagley was amazing. He helped us out with everything and made sure we got the best possible deal. He went above and beyond to get me in this vehicle and i would highly recommend any of my friends or family to go visit Neil and this dealership for any future car buying needs. From the reviews I just read it seems iif you buy a new car from Colonial you're in better shape than if you buy pre-owned...I purchased a pre-owned 2013 Genesis Sedan in Sept. of 2016...I live 130 mi. north of Colonial, so I did a lot of research and talked to them several times...One of the reasons I purchased this car is I was told several times that it was certified...This was suposed to give me a longer powertrain warranty...I was told by no less than 3 people that the car was PRE-CERTIFIED...I find out a year later that they all lied to me...I was repeatly told of this...more than once...They even gave me a carfax that they provided showing "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned"...Now I'm being told by The New Sales Manager "that the carfax they gave me "ONLY MEANS That this is available not part of the deal" I was also told at purchase that The Pre-Certification costs $1600. Teh NEW Sales-Mgr. Tells me it's only $595...To put it in perspective...This is the first negitive review I have ever done...I am Livid...I do not like to be lied to...Most of the staff has changed but the owner and a couple of managers are still there...Meaning I doubt if anything has changed...They LIE...

Total dissatisfaction with used car purchase

Buyer beware. This dealership has broken all promises made to us when we purchased a used Toyota Highlander and now will not even return messages or phone calls to discuss. The below highlights our attempt to receive the services that were promised and never delivered. I would suggest that you never trust that things will be resolved before leaving the showroom. We trusted that they would honor the issues and to date we still do not have resolution since this past March. Below is a part of my last letter to the Sales Manager showing unresolved issues. 1.Never received he promised repair documentation that confirms the work done at your shop was actually performed at a cost of $502.00 added to the price of the car .This documentation was promised several times by several people in the Sales organization, however, it has never been provided. 2: Return the $300.00 that was taken back by Colonial to repair the sunroof which was never actually repaired. I will take that $300.00 and get the sunroof properly fixed. This can be handled as either a credit to our VISA or a refund check to us. 3: Of course, we would also appreciate some of the $656.70 we paid to Thompson Toyota out of our own pocket to bring the Highlander into compliance with PA emission standards which Colonial was supposed to have completed. In 60 plus years of purchasing vehicles this is the only time I have been forced to submit a complaint like this.

Buyer Beware

Let me begin by saying, Hyundai offers innovative vehicles. Prices and incentives are competitive at a reputable dealership, which Colonial is not. Colonial adds thousands of dollars on top of the MSRP. Do not be fooled by this. Please do your research and shop multiple dealers. You will find Colonial's practices are disceitful and lacks integrity. The sales manager is aggressive and disrespectful. Two different Hyundai dealerships warned me, as a customer, of Colonial's shady business model. I wanted to do my research and give Colonial a shot at winning my business. Needless to say, the TWO other dealerships were correct. Beware of their upcharge, aggressive tactics, and buy elsewhere.

Bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from colonial had a damaged side skirt and bumper.I spoke with sales manager tom and then got directed to service manager Jim and then to a guy named Ivan and none of them were help two out of three told me they would fix it and then did not contact me back for 5 months.I did not buy the car as is it had a full warranty sticker on it the car is costing me like 20,000 and almost 400 a month.colonial Hyundai is a complete rip off and do not follow their promises.i will never buy another car from them again.one of the worst dealerships I had to deal with.

I had the most positive experience buying a new car here. Everyone in the dealership was direct, honest and personable. Bradley T. was my salesman and he was fantastic in every way!!! When i returned to finalize my deal and Bradley was with another client for a bit. Lou Z., another salesman, stepped right in and guided us through all the little details such as setting up the blue link account. And he gave us so many helpful ideas. He, like Bradley, is another really great customer-oriented salesman! Also worked with Gabriel C. in finance, who was very professional. I'm sure no dealership is perfect but to me they were everything I wanted in service when buying a car.

From the minute I was greeted everyone was professional and knowledgeable. Salesman Mo and GM Steve Tucci bent over backwards to get me a much better deal than my research led me to expect. Never any pressure - these guys go out of their way to make sure you're happy, and it earned them my business - plus I'll strongly recommend Colonial Hyundai to anyone I know looking for a car.

Buyer Beware

Do not buy a vehicle from Colonial Hyundai !! Went their Saturday to buy a vehicle for my son. Upon meeting the salesman, within 5 minutes of conversation the 6 month veteran salesman stated he knew nothing about cars. Quite Obvious. Went on test drive. Asked to see trunk of vehicle and spare tire. No wonder salesman made sure he was one to open Liftgate. (2 hours after purchasing and opening Liftgate at home we found damaged Liftgate) The pneumatic struts to prevent Liftgate from falling on your head were broken. Shady!! After the tedious job of "haggling" not only were we quoted the wrong amount on Tax and Tags. But when asking yet again for the best price, the "Deal" came back over $100 more than initial price because the General Manager could not Add correctly. Asked for him to explain, the amount discrepancy were Added Into the price breakdown. Shady!!! Conveniently in Colonial Hyundai's favor. Great Deal. We also never had possession of the keys. They were left in Vehicle. Now we know why, the one key that came with vehicle was faulty as well. These things were all brought up to the General Managers attention immediately upon arriving home. The General Manager is standing behind the Shady tactics of his salesman! They will not fix these problems. Colonial Hyundai Does Not Care About Customers! Once You are Off Lot!! Do Not Buy From Colonial Hyundai!!!

Unethical Sales Practices

BUYER BEWARE!!! Their lifetime engine warranty is only valid if you have all routine service done at their dealership. I purchased a certified car from them on December 28, 2015 and was told I could take my car to any Hyundai dealership for service, since I live over an hour away. This is true for the Hyundai warranty, but not for the lifetime engine warranty they gave me. They did not tell me when I purchased the car that I had to bring it back to their dealership in order to be valid. I found that out later when I read the warranty. This lifetime warranty was a deciding factor in purchasing the car. I feel as though I was deceived in the sales process! Also, I tried calling the sales manager for two days to express my concerns. They would not return my calls. Finally, he called me back. Long story short, he said you signed the warranty! They are using unethical sales practices, this is why I'm writing this review.

Deceptive

Not what ad said. Called in and asked twice about what ad said. Was assured it was correct. Of course story changed when I got their. Same old song and dance routine. I should have known better. After going back and forth like they always do, we left. As we left a salesman made a rude comment and gesture. I was their with my daughter, and she witnessed this. Very, Very unprofessional. Would never think of coming here again.

We have bought 2 new and 2 used cars here. After driving my new Elantra for about a year and feeling it was just not for me, we went back and our salesman worked with us until we left totally satisfied...with a stick shift--I just love it. In buying the used cars, our Salesman, Lou, drove them before we purchased letting us know the pros and cons of each one we looked at. Colonial (and Lou) will be our first stop any time we look for an auto!

Really,really bad sales experience

The Sales person I worked with did not return phone calls and never remembers important details left in voice mail and email. He smelled of cigarette smoke and was not at all professional in his attitude. They didn't honor my TrueCar quote and tried not to honor all of the incentives I was entitled to.

When purchasing my vehicle they lied to me about what vehicles they had in stock to get me in just to up-sale me. Then just recently a had a coupon for one year free service and they refused to honor it. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!! Buyer beware. I will never return to them for anything. They lost me as a customer.
