In addition to taking care of all of the details for the purchase of a great used car, John helped me out with a couple of small questions about my Lexus RX350 (purchased at Berlin City a couple of years ago). Stellar Service

Duane was a stellar salesman. I told what we wanted, how much we were looking to spend amongst other things. He went above and beyond and got us into a brand new 2017 Chevy Tax AWD for less then the asking price and it was less then even some of the older used styles we had looked at. I love our new car and I can't thank Duane enough for taking the time to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Root canal is more pleasant.

Took the car in for our free oil change & tire rotation. Left with all tires at different air pressure. Went back in and they adjusted the pressure. Then when I got home, I noticed that there are greasy handprints in several places on the exterior car door, the exterior doorhandle, the inside door handle & on the steering wheel. Still waiting to hear back on Service Engine light repair that I was promised when I purchased the car 4 months ago. I have a WE OWE ticket from my purchase. Was at the dealership for the repair in January and was sent away because the light was no longer on. The light came on again and it was still on when I was there this week, but now no one can tell me if they plan to make the repair they agreed to, when we bought the car.

Amazing Buying Experience

I had an amazing experience buying a new 2016 Chevy Volt EV! All the staff I worked with were knowledgeable and friendly. There was no high-pressure up-selling or anything like that. I got the great price that I saw online with a stellar interest rate. I even got my trade-in back upon request (see bottom for details). Ryan Greene was my sales rep. He was incredibly nice and pleasant to talk to. One of those sincere, genuine kind of guys. He knew a lot about the EV I wanted, but would freely admit the things he didn't know. I appreciate that a lot. He hung out with me, chatted, and answered some off-topic questions when we were waiting for paperwork to go through, etc. Brandon did my financing. I can't remember his last name, but he was also very easy to talk to. I didn't have to haggle price or anything. He gave me the price and huge rebate I saw online, and he didn't try to push any extras on me when I said I wasn't interested. It was quick and painless. And here's the kicker. When I got home and told my wife how little I got for my trade-in, she was disappointed that we hadn't just kept it and given it to a family member. I had to go back the next day to give them the title since I forgot it initially, and when I asked if it were possible to buy my old car back, they just cancelled out the trade-in like it never happened and gave me the keys back. And that only took like 15 minutes. How awesome is that? That's the sign of people who value their customers. If you're looking to buy a car, I highly recommend these guys.

I went to look at a used car here with an appointment. The salesman was very helpful and friendly. However he asked me to talk to a manager. The manager wasted my time while he talked on the phone and then told me I had to make up my mind whether to purchase the car for the asking price and gave me a proposed price sheet with a net sales price over the asking price of the car. If you want a dealer who is friendly and willing to work with you I suggest you look elsewhere.

Great Used Car Buying Experience

We recently purchased a car for our daughter as her first car. We had a great experience working with Joseph H. and Ryan R. of Capitol Chevrolet. They were friendly, helpful and we never felt pushed or rushed. They were understanding when the first car we test drove didn't fit our needs and they kept looking for one that did. The deal worked out just as they said it would. We would highly recommend that you seek out Joseph or Ryan to buy a car from. I would buy from either of them again.

In April 2014 I purchased a used Chevy Equinox from Capitol Chevrolet in Salem, OR. I had recently moved to Oregon, a single woman and did not know anyone in the area. I looked at several dealerships with no success in assisting me with a vehicle I needed, or the payment. I found Capitol Chevrolet online 50 miles from where I lived. The Sales Representative responded immediately to my online inquiry and scheduled an appointment the next day. This dealership was prepared when I arrived with a vehicle to meet my needs and a payment to fit my budget. The Sales and Service team were very professional, honest and respected my time, with no runaround that you typically experience when purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership.

Got what we wanted

After looking at a lot of cars, we saw the 2014 Impala LTZ2 and had to have it, though we were in no rush. Since they only had one on hand they were hesitant to offer us the deal we wanted right away. We said that is fine, we knew there would be more available in the Fall since it was a 2014 model. We decided to check around the state and see what other dealers were offering on line and what other colors might be available. We found one just like the one at Capital and called to see what we might get it for including our trade in. Wanting to keep our business local we called to see if Capital would match the Portland offer. Along with using a Costco discount and one for USAA, Capital offered us a bit more for our trade in to keep us from driving to Portland. In the end we actually paid a bit less and stayed in our home town. We have used Capitals service department in the past with our Corvette and have been very pleased. Capital also offers 2 years of oil changes and tire rotation to cars they sell. Another thing that we liked is, since the Impala LTZ has so many features, we were asked to come back in and have s person go through everything to make sure we understood haw to use all of the features. This was a real benefit for us.

Quintessential Car Dealer

This place gives Chevy a bad name. Nice new facility, but thats about it. HIGH PRESSURE & EVERYTHING you hate about going looking for a car. Look no further, you can find it here. Upon entering, asked for specific salesman, who wasn't available for our scheduled appointment, and then the salesman, who wouldn't even let me get out of my car upon pulling in, FOLLOWED ME TO THE RESTROOM and continued a sales pitch IN THE RESTROOM!!! I should've left then. The sales guy wouldn't let me wait for the salesman I'd made an appointment with and insisted that we proceed. Guess at least the salesman washed their hands! They never really even listened to what I was saying. It was going to be the way they wanted things from the get go. Their price was so "good" that they wouldn't really entertain anything that I was offering. "there are other people on their way to come look at this" "first com first served" "I'm going to be fired if I don't sell this" All of the antics and BS kept building to a pinnacle that pushed me out the door. This place is shady and I will NEVER set foot on any of the Capitol lots again. You'd think you were on an island and they were the only car lot on it! Such a disgrace to the Chevrolet name. Go elsewhere since there are so many choices within 50-75 miles. Can't imagine things could be worse!
