Amazing Dealership

Went into the Power Ford dealership with a Wild idea of trading in my 2017 3.7 Mustang for a 2019 5.0 Mustang. I had purchased the 2017 Mustang with the help of Cove Metcalf and had made an appointment with her to explore my Wild idea. To make a Great story short, Cova not only obtained a fair trade in for my existing Mustang but also located the Exact new Mustang that i was looking for. The very next morning i was driving off of the lot with my new Mustang. Cova has totally surpassed my expectations of what a perfect experience should be in the purchase of a car.

Amazing Dealership

Untrustworthy

My name is Don Navarro, On August 14th I took my truck in to Power Ford in Newport Oregon for an inspection to find out what the rattling noise is when it is started cold. Brought home a slip saying it needed a new water pump with a balance of $326.50 and a schedule for Wed the 21st to have the work done. Aug 21st got a call to pick up truck. Went in at 6pm and service was empty but was able to pay and get the truck. Truck made the same noise upon starting. Brought the truck back on the 22nd and asked for it to be looked at again, that the noise was still there. Was told to come back tomorrow or next week. I played the noise I recorded on my phone that morning to the service attendant and was told they would look into it. He did not seem that interested. I stopped back in while taking my wife to work in her car, was told I could take my truck but it would be better to leave it if I wanted to know what was wrong. I learned I would be reimbursed for the water pump as it was covered by warranty. I was told that if it were worse they could identify where the rattle was coming from and again offered for me to take the truck. I declined. I offered to play the recording of the rattle I took that morning and the reply was, “I know what it sounds like”. When I got home I utubed 2017 Ford F150 rattle upon starting. Got a site saying this is common for ecoboost engines and that it was a timing chain stretch. That this was a common problem from 2011 to 2015 in these engines. I learned that to fix this would take about 9 hours but it would be covered under warranty. It should be noted that I have 59,470 miles on my truck with the warranty expiring after 60,000 miles. I called the next morning and asked the operator to pass on that I would like them to check into the timing chain as it could be stretched and that this was common for ecoboost engines. I was again offered to come pick up my truck. I said I would rather it be fixed. She said she would pass it on. (she tried to forward me 3 times but there was no answer at the service desk) I called again from work and was told that I’m going to have to come get the truck as they cannot figure it out and want to wait until it gets worse. After all this I believe two things: The service technicians working for Power Ford are trained and certified to work on all Ford engines. This specific problem common among these engines are well known among ford service techs as they would have fixed them in the past. For me to utube the issue and have the most likely problem and to have it dismissed in seconds although they have unsuccessfully spent two days trying to figure out the issue, thoroughly promotes the untrustworthy feeling I am experiencing. The fact that their computer system knows how many miles are on my truck at all times, handy for maintenance reminders on their part, enforces the belief that they are well aware of my warranty status and are refusing to continue to look at my truck. They are demanding I pick it up and wait until the problem gets worse (warranty expired) and then bring it back for them to find the problem and charge me labor and parts. I now still owe 35k on a truck that rattles when I start it in the morning and believe the company I put trust in when I bought it is trying to upsell parts and labor instead of keeping a happy customer.

Happily drove off with a beautiful F250

We came to Newport in hopes to drive off with a new F250. We worked for hours with Jessie he was very patient and was still learning the car sales process. He was active duty ready to retire so we really wanted to keep working with him as we support all active duty and vets over anyone else. We were looking at a new 2019 F250. We really liked one, but it didn't have navigation. Only the Lariats offer this. So we test drove one and really, really liked it. But, it was waaaay out of our price range. Chris and Mike did what they could to cut a deal and make payments as close to what we were comfortable with. It just wasn't working out. We were about to walk out and Cova swept in and mentioned that they just got a 2017 F250 off the truck. We all, and that is Cova, Mike, Jessie and the hubby and I took a look at it. It was perfect!! It was exactly like the 2019 and only had 5800 miles on it! The team worked it all out and we left our totally reliable 2008 F150 Lariat behind and drove off with this gorgeous 2017. We are totally happy and we were really happy on how this team worked hard to get us something we wanted. We were there 5 hours and the last customers to leave. These poor guys were done and ready for a day off! We had a great connection with Jessie and happy that Cova was there to show him the ropes. Newport Power Ford has a great team!

I normally do not add reviews or testimonials but recently I purchased a used vehicle from Power Ford Lincoln and was so pleased with the transaction that I felt I needed to comment. I started the transaction with Cova, the Internet Sales Manager. I had been looking for a replacement vehicle since January after mine was stolen. I had looked at six other vehicles that I found on-line only to discover that they weren’t in as good a condition which, they were being advertised. Cova went above and beyond to send me additional photos and information I requested and she did so in a timely manner. I appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile. As it turned out, the vehicle I bought from Power was in the condition that it was being advertised. Needless to say, I would buy another vehicle from this dealership and I strongly recommend working with Cova she is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Well-done Cova! Bill California

Kimberlee Gray and the Power Ford Team exceeded our expectations

Based on previous vehicle buying experiences, we were apprehensive about shopping for and buying the truck we so badly needed. As soon as we met Kimberlee Gray, our worries began to evaporate. She listened, asked for clarification, and answered all of our questions or introduced us to the person who could. Kimberlee found the 2018 F-150 with all of our must-haves in order to safely and comfortably tow our travel trailer. She also managed to find one of our top three, color choices, the appearance package we liked (go Sport Appearance Package!), and surprised us by finding a truck with the leather seats we thought wouldn't be possible. Our diamond stitched leather seats are gorgeous! Kimberlee was not alone in meeting our truck buying needs. At every step, she worked cooperatively with Mike. The Sales Manager and Ken in Finance, to meet and in some cases exceed our expectations. Before we drove off the lot, Kimberlee gave a step-by-step lesson in connecting phones and other important features. Even after the sale, we've been encouraged to call or go in for questions. Any time we've done so, there's been at least one person who has called us by name and checked to be sure that we were happy with our truck. Kimberlee introduced us to the people we needed in Parts/Service and we've already ordered all weather floor liners to help keep our truck looking great. Our new truck is strong, gets lots of compliments, and does an amazing job of towing our travel trailer. Pro Trailer Backup Assist is worth every penny! Many thousands of miles (camping trips) down the road, if we decide to buy a new vehicle, Kimberlee Gray and the team at Power Ford will be our first call.

I have purchased several new cars from Power. All the people there have been very helpful and nice to work with. I have never experienced any pressure to buy or any sales games on purchase price. They have cheerfully acquired or ordered, from the factory, cars that I wanted that they didn't have on the lot. They have a nice selection on the lot and I have bought several of them. They work hard to make car buying a happy experience, and I expect to buy my next car from them.

Very Honest

I must say I've never met such an honest car dealership. The body shop was detailing my car and they accidentally ran over my umbrella. They not only told me about it, but they replaced it with a new one. I probably wouldn't have noticed, but I'm amazed at them being so honest that they told me. I knew what I wanted. Cova and I had most of the details worked out through emails. I went in, test drove the truck, did 20 min of paperwork / price negotiations.....that was with a trade in. I told Cova it was a deal if they could get the paperwork done while my family went to beach. We played for 2 hours on the beach, went back to the dealership and signed a few papers. Done deal. Fast and easy. They even suprised me with a free night a local hotel and payed my pet fee. Amazing customer service.
