I would highly recommend Gresham Dodge to anyone who is looking for great customer service and people who really care about your needs and the safety of you and your family. I had come in to look for a safer vehicle for my family for my old one wasn't as safe at all. Travis, Ed, Luke, and Magee provided me with great information on the vehicles I looked at and all the saftey futures that it provideds along providing me with answers of any questions I had and explained in great details of the contract. I now have a vehicle that my family and I feel safe in all thanks to Gresham Dodge for having an awesome sales group that actually cares for their customers!

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER

We had the worst experience ever with Gresham Dodge and Jeep! Walked in with CASH IN HAND TO PURCHASE a vehicle. I had negotiated a price with Eric and we had signed the paperwork agreeing to the discount, as we were paying cash. NO JOKE.... after paperwork was signed, Eric and Mike came back and said, "we made a mistake and you will need to pay the original price! SERIOUSLY.... we've already signed! We refused to pay more, done deal- MANAGEMENT(Eric Holms and Mike Crane) IS HORRIBLE, refused to come and speak with us or lower price back to what we agreed and signed for. We were told you can take it or leave it, they refused to contact the General Manager,Joe Levitt because it was his day off and he cannot be bothered. Well, we left it, even if they were to come back and sell for the amount we signed to, at this point-it's a waste of time and insult after the frustration they have caused- they've wasted our time and insulted us, let me remind you we had cash in hand and we are not talking a small amount. Customer service is key, I feel bad for the sales guy, Josh. The greedy finance manager or onsite managers (Eric and Mike) lost him the sale. We are talking about this being the easiest deal they would have done.. AGAIN, we had cash in hand! I will never do business with this company! They need to understand how to full-fill their commitments and honor their pricing. What game they tried to play today is totally unethical and slimy.

Great Dealer!

I replaced a 2016 Promaster City that was totalled with the same 2017 model. My insurance company settlement was short of what I owed. The guys at Gresham found every possible way to keep my payment the same, even with a better equipped wagon. After the sale, the factory goofed on a satellite radio option, so the dealer installed one at no extra charge. Also, they seamlessly paid my old loan off with the new financing which included gap insurance. Josh B. was especially positive and attentive throughout the whole process. Great job, guys!

Spending a small fortune on a car should be met with the highest standards of professionalism and service. I did not find that here in any degree. The best thing I can say about the place is that the sales building looks nice and clean. That's about where my compliments end.

Unethical, incompetent rip off-- go ANYwhere else

Took my truck into this dealership 3x starting end of June 2016 for what was thought to be a TCM (Transmission Control Module) problem my personal mechanic was unable to resolve after two months of trying. This dealership found a code P0931 which has to do with the gears (transmission). I told them what I had read on dodge forums and gave them history of the cluster panel lighting serv 4x4 and intermittent engine shut down and immediate restart problems I was having while driving. I had recently had the alternator and battery replaced by my mechanic. I spent over $1300 and made 3 trips and the the TCM issue I mentioned I had read about was never addressed. Instead they replaced the battery, alternator and cables. Never touched or researched the P code (Powertrain aka: transmission). The truck completely failed about a month later I towed it to another dealership who had the same codes and immediately tested the transmission. $1000 more later they found the TCM sensor was bad, replaced and fixed my problem. I contact upper management at the first dealership and they refuse to explain why they never addressed the transmission codes and why it took 5 labor hours to install a battery, alternator and battery cables. They claim they earned their money. I am not a mechanic but I can understand that a P code means powertrain.. not alternator or battery. They also never returned or credited me for a core charges on the alternator or battery they replaced and I didn't need to begin with. This dealership DOES NOT listen to their customers when they tell them they want certain things checked out they spend your money on things that don't need fixed. My mechanic check my battery and swapped out the alternator two weeks before hand.. nothing wrong but was done for preventive just in case and at no charge. He's willing to confirm this. This Dodge dealership service dept. totally ripped me off. I'm 56 and female maybe that had something to do with it.

Worst experience ever

This was the worst car buying experience ever. VERY incompetent finance people. Refused to give listed sale price. They said they can only give the sale price if we take wholesale for the trade in. If we want more for the trade then we need to pay retail for the new car. Sent a check for the taxes and told us to get the plates ourselves cause "that's just how we do things". Would not re-write the loan to lower our payment when they found out our payoff on the trade was a lot less unless we bought a warranty. Horrible customer service , shady dealings, worse than Dick Hannah!!! Don't buy a car here unless you enjoy being bent over.

My husband and I bought a used 2006 Nissan truck from this location and it was well worth the drive to Oregon to check it out. We live in the Seattle area and we weren't really expecting we could get the deal that we wanted. We all know the back and forth game that needs to be played when it comes to the numbers, but in the end, we laid it out straight to exactly what we wanted and Wil H. was able to work his magic to make those numbers happen and gave us a deal we couldn't turn down. Great guy to work with and no pushy sales tactics. Thanks, Wil!

Let me just tell you... hands down, this guy went out of his way to make my deal work. My husband and I bought a Challenger last year, and had a great experience... so we came back. I wanted to trade my GMC for a Durango. After being told by the Sales Manager AND another salesman that my deal wouldn't work, Andrew made it happen! He made me feel like a return customer, a VALUED customer - not just another person walking through the door. For me, that's exactly what I needed. I walked out WITH the Infinity warranty! With a LIMITED! Even the color I wanted! I'm telling you, he thought of every way this deal could work, and made it happen. I will say, if you are looking for a car, DO NOT BOTHER with anyone else at this dealership! Andrew is the way to go... and trust me, he is a busy guy so make an appointment - IT'S WORTH IT! Andrew - Thank you for treating me like family... I appreciate your honesty, your hard work, and not giving up!! I walked out with nothing I needed, but everything I wanted!!!!!

The dealership suffers from many of the maladies afflicting all mass market branded dealers, including the 'dealer markup' on stickers, even though the internet price is far less. It was a little tough breaking through the initial sales smoke screens. But once we were talking to a sales manager, it was a straightforward deal. We paid less than invoice for a car that was not on the lot but had to be transferred from another dealer. They gave us kbb trade-in on my used car, and we were done. Andrew made the place. Gresham is a long drive from our home. Our visit to NW Jeep in Beaverton ended in frustration. Our sales guy would not help us. So that is how we ended up out in Gresham.

2011 Dakota purchase - online price

Went in to look at an unreal online price reduction on new 2011 Dakota ($34,900 down to $22,900). Staff went OUT OF THEIR WAY to accomodate my price point (the internet price stood), my interest rate point (improved after the fact), my payment timeline (90 days to first payment), and the trade-in was on the money blue-book fair. Expecting to find some "reason" for the discount, I found a clean flawless truck with 11 miles on the speedometer! Robert-salesman left me to wander the lot until i came to him, then had every answer to every question with no nonsense. William-finance was absolutely NO PRESSURE, informative, congenial, and patient. TD/Dodge is financing the note, they sent me a letter 2 weeks after the deal to advise me they had DROPPED my rate 0.44% after the deal. NO WAY you say, Desertgal145 is a Shill...I am not. Not only that, I am a no nonsense "walk off the lot" buyer. If I don't like the deal I am gone, politely but gone none the same. This is the second Dakota I have purchased (the other in Marinette Wisconsin), and it is the second exceptional experience. If you walk in to buy a new car expecting to screw the dealer, you get what your Karma brings you. If you walk in with reasonable expectations and realize that both sides can reach a common place...go see these guys! You'll be glad you did, I am. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have purchased many cars in my life but I have never been treated this poorly by even used car salesmen. The finance manager said I had to purchase an extended warranty and "northwest protection package" at time of sale. I previously purchased extended warranty on another Dodge and knew the information was inaccurate. The "Northwest Protection Package" was reportedly already on the car in a clear coat and stain resistant spray. The finance manager added the two warranties to my contract and would not allow me to read all of the documents prior to signing. I had promised my daughter the car and already spent 9 hours at the lot. The sales manager, Mike Kenny, assured me I could cancel the extra warranties and have my money refunded but said we needed to complete the sale that night so they could process the information for the date it was approved. I arrived at the dealership before noon and was in the building 40 minutes past closing. I called to cancel the warranty the following week and was told there would be a $300.00 charge to cancel one warranty and I could not cancel the other. The warranty company's names were kept off contract and the wrong policy was listed on the paperwork. I later found out it was not even a manufactures extended warranty as I was told. It was an after market warranty through a company I never heard of that was not approved or recommended by Daimler/Chrysler. Gresham Dodge did not even send payment or contract to the company after collecting the money from my credit union. I had to provide the warranty company with a signed copy of the contract when I attempted to use the warranty. I was informed that Gresham Dodge did not submit the payment or contract. I wonder how many people never tried to use their coverage and Gresham Dodge just kept the money. I was referred in circles to Paul Hoover, Mike Kenny, Dale Peterson and Bret ? All of them admitted things were handled wrong and I was treated unfair but none of them were able or willing to correct the errors. I have been informed that the sales and finance manager have both been terminated and several representatives have admitted that both employees' provided "inaccurate information" to several customers but no one is willing to make it right. The general manager offered to help correct the errors but refused to put anything in writing and later refused to correct the problems as promised. Their lies cost me around $3000 so far. The service department has been honest and very helpful with the repairs that were made on my other car that was purchased at another dealership and was covered by a Daimler/Chrysler warranty. The service writers, mechanics and service manager, Jim Bybee, have provided excellent service and accurate information for repairs on several occasions. I personally hate the dealer but appreciate the honesty and friendliness in the service department.
