Janzen is the best!

bysrayyd01on 02/07/2017

I recently bought a Toyota Tundra 4x4 Double Cab from Janzen Toyota Scion in Stillwater. I started my search online to see where I could get the best price. Janzen ended up the winner, and I got great Customer Service to boot. I was treated with respect every time with Ben Garner. He really put in a lot of work to find the right vehicle for me. It's definitely worth your time to consider Janzen in your search for your next Toyota. I live in OKC and none of the local dealerships could match what Janzen offered. I recommend them highly.

Simply the best

bywayneburrison 03/31/2013

Brian was an outstanding salesman to work with, starting with the Internet quote and arranging a test drive of the vehicle. My wife and I had a very pleasant experience working with every facet of our vehicle purchase. This is the best dealership we've ever worked with.

Positive Experience

bygogiboyon 04/11/2011

We bought a Scion from Janzen in January of 2010 after our previous Toyota was totaled in an accident. Our salesman, Greg Feher, was courteous, informative and laid back. We had settled on the Scion as the best replacement. Since Scion has a pricing structure that makes vehicle costs the same no matter where purchased we weren't concerned about padded prices or added "value packages". Most all the salesmen have been working at Janzen for years--unlike most every other dealership in Stillwater--so there's continuity and service after the sale. I will say, however, that if low price is your bottom line, cheaper Toyotas and used cars can be found elsewhere. We priced out better equipped new and used Rav4s at a couple of dealerships in OKC and they ended up being substantially less than the ones available at Janzen. Since Janzen is not high-volume dealership they have to hold to a higher profit margin. Since that profit is already built-in to the Scion line it wasn't an issue. I would say that the above criticism does not apply only to Janzen, however, as all Stillwater dealerships seem to operate as though the local consumer is a captive audience since we are more than 60 miles from the metropolitan areas of OKC and Tulsa. They survive--maybe even thrive-- because many people refuse to drive out of town and there is no same brand competition on new cars. My wife loves the service area where they always treat her well. It's a quiet, family-like operation, which is in stark contrast to the high pressure, high turnover screamer dealers down the street.

Bought a Prius the day Toyota announced recall

byayaktruckon 03/10/2010

Had been corresponding with salesman Greg Feher via email and phone (minimal) the few weeks before our purchase. We were keeping tuned in to all the recall happenings concerning the 2010 Prius and took advantage of a $1000 Toyota owners loyalty discount. Janzen offered a $500 internet sales discount as well. Greg is their internet sales guy and very helpful without being "overly attentive." By overly, I mean he wasn't "in-our-virtual face" every second of the day. I preferred to conduct the entire transaction via email rather than on the phone, and of all the three net salespeople at the dealers I had contacted (Dub Richardson in OKC, Jim Norton in Tulsa), Greg was the most email-centered. Basically, if I had wanted to "talk" to salespeople, I would. The fact that I initiated my purchase via the net should have been a clue to the other sales-folk that I preferred this indirect mode of communication. Although Greg did hit my cell phone more than I liked him to, he responded to my text messages promptly, which was a huge plus in my book. In person, when we picked up the Prius, Greg was friendly and knowledgeable, didn't push the add-ons and extras too hard (I expect a little push, so that's okay) and was kind to both of my kids. He ended up staying 30 minutes past closing time to make sure we were comfortable with our new 1/2 car-1/2 computer ride. Bottom line, even though Stillwater was an hour further travel time than the closest dealer, Greg's hands-off sales method won us over. I'd buy a car from Greg Feher at Janzen again, with no hesitation. Notes - we paid cash with a bank check, didn't get the extended warranty (plan on purchasing one online before the 3-year factory runs out), and had sent $500 deposit 1-week prior to purchase.

Very accomodating...

bymodel99savageon 09/03/2007

Bought my 2007 Tundra at Janzen. Salesman was Greg Feher; he's Canadian, but I don't hold that against him. Anyway, Janzen was very direct and to the point on their pricing and trade valuation. I had contacted them about three weeks prior to buying my pickup and received zero pressure to come in. (Other dealers just about burned up the telephone lines. "Can you come in? Can you come in? We'd love to sell you a car!") They made every reasonable effort to accomodate me in order to complete the deal, charged $67.50 for document fees (as complared to $199 at some OKC-area dealers), and took the time to go over various features of my vehicle before I hit the road. No pushy nonsense to buy undercoating, fabric protection, or an extended warranty. I felt they were quite fair and would certainly consider buying there if it's not too far. Note: I am a real person with zero connection to the dealership.

Do Car lots turn customers away, ever?

bymake475on 07/27/2007

I went out to Janzen Toyota at 7pm at night to look at a Scion, the doors were locked but a sales associate came to the door to talk. Only to let us know that at 7:10 they close so they couldn't help us that night. Wow, car dealerships must be doing really good if they can turn business away like that.
