Awesome car buying experience with Jesus Gonzalez at Hudiburg Toyota. He got me the deal I wanted and even picked me and brother up at the airport. Great guy and a great place to buy a car. Definitely would come back again.

Taylor Rowton

bySean_Roemer1on 07/19/2017

I was fortunate that Taylor Rowton at hudiburg toyota was my salesman! He was the best salesman that I met. This was my first dealership I went to, then it was the one I returned to buy my 2012 ford fusion. The main reason why I came back to this dealership was because Taylor was just so cool. He was chill in the sense that I was looking around at other dealerships and he never pressed HARD for my business. Because of that it won my business. I was looking at another vehicle and this one and went with one at hudiburg toyota because of the atmosphere of this dealership. I loved working with Taylor and I highly recommend him to everyone!!!!!

VERY Pleased with everything!

bydreddockon 12/26/2016

I came in to just look at the car I was interested in and ended up leaving with it. First off what a great sales team you have. I was incredibly surprised by the service. I don't like going to dealerships on my own because I find them highly intimidating but everyone there was so nice and welcoming, not a vulture in sight. I spent awhile reading the reviews so I was able to request someone that had been recommended. Gray was great. So helpful and so patient with me. Not once did I feel hassled or rushed into making any decisions until I was ready. What an asset to Hudiburg! And thank you to Khai who was just as helpful.

worst car buying experience

byKCNicoleon 04/23/2016

My husband and I had been looking for a used truck for several months and were pleased to find just what he was looking for at Hudiburg. It was a bit of a haul, however, considering we live in Kansas City, but after several discussions over the phone about the truck and the awesome financing they offered, it seemed perfect... and it's a Toyota dealership for crying out loud which made the drive all the way to Oklahoma seem justifiable. Sadly, it has been nothing but a mess since my husband set foot on their lot. I think, at this point, I will have to go to list format just so that I can be completely concise and not make this review rival Moby Dick in length. 1) Financing terms WERE NOT what was discussed over the phone. Rate was higher. Would have been good to know before driving several hundred miles to get the truck. 2) My husband did arrive a few hours early to get the truck (in their defense) so he had to wait while they replaced some squeaky break pads (much appreciated). However, a couple hours later after leaving the dealership, he noticed the truck was leaking anti-freeze due to a loose water pump resulting from a hasty repair by their service team to get the truck ready. Called the dealership who offered to return our 4-Runner to us and forgo the sale, or to let them make it right by arranging to have it repaired at a Wichita area dealership (which is where my husband was at this point) with a $200 "for your trouble" offering. I wish at this point we had gone with the former. 3) Never received the $200 (suddenly NO ONE knew anything about it and denied offering it in the first place). Was given a measly $50 and it took almost 2 weeks to get reimbursed for the cost of the repair. A repair which meant my husband had to stay an extra night in wichita for. Very inconvenient. 4) After getting the truck home, and seeing it for the first time myself, it was filthy. Luckily, I had a carpet cleaner. Unfortunately, I needed something commercial-grade for this job. Dumped out several canisters of brown/black water. I'm awesomely good cleaner though, and after a couple of hours, that truck looked like it should have on the lot. 5) It is now 4 weeks later, our 30 day tag expires tomorrow, and there is not a title in sight. After a few emails and a couple phone calls we were told there was a delay with the title (???) and we would be sent another 30-day tag. Have yet to see that piece of paper, which means when we're hit with late fees at our fine local dmv, we are screwed. Knowing history will repeat itself, I am sure there will be no reimbursement for that from our fine friends at Hudiburg. I want this story to be over. I just want my husband to be able to enjoy the truck he's wanted for so long with no more hassle. Is that too much to ask? What do you want Hudiburg? My kidney on trade? Will that make this all go away?? To be continued...

Beautiful!

bykarategirlon 08/08/2014

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Hudiburg Toyota. Especially my salesman Zach W. and business manager Jacob W. I live out of town and they made the car buying experience perfect! If you need a Toyota, I highly recommend dealing with these gentlemen. Honest, straight-forward, knowledgeable and very friendly. I give them 5 stars because they earned my business with their integrity. Something you don't always see in the car buying world. Thanks guys for a seamless transaction from start to finish!

PCM issue

bymechanic46on 02/09/2014

I tried to get Howard Toyota to replace the computer in the extended warranty period, but they could not do it until it actually failed. I can't blame the dealer, but Toyota-Corporate stinks. I doubt I will ever buy another Toyota product, unless this one makes a radical change in it's repair expenses.

Replaced motor, dead 2000 miles later

bytoannnon 10/04/2012

Had my engine replaced by them, the engine overheated because they forgot to reconnect a hose. 2000 miles later the car is blowing out smoke and they will not fix it. The service manager told me to not come back also.

Avoid the Service Department

byhross1on 09/20/2010

I took my car in because the air conditioner had stopped working and there was a strange whirrling sound coming from under the hood. They looked the car over and told me it was my compressor that was causing both problems. I told them to go ahead and fix the compressor at the cost of $1500. I picked the car up and started driving home. The air conditioner worked fine, but the whirling sound was still happening. When I called back to take the car in again I wanted to make sure they wouldn't be charging me to diagnose the cause of the sound, seeing as they already charged me for that as well as for the supposed fix. After sitting on hold for 10 minutes they told me they'd have to call back, but just to plan on bringing the car in. When I asked to speak to a manager they told me he was on another call and that he'd get back to me when he had the time. Then they told me to have a nice day and were about to hang up until I reminded them they needed my phone number. These guys lie and apparently don't stand behind their work. Go anywhere else.

The Extra Mile Extended Life Tire Program

bydcasey1on 10/08/2009

I bought a 2006 Highlander from Hudiburg Toyota in Oklahoma City and purchased the extended mile life program. This program promises a new set of tires at end of tire life if you have your car serviced every 5000 miles. I have taken my toyota to the dealership every 5000 miles for service without fail and have spent $3200. The last service day was on March 3, 2009 and the Highlander had 55305 miles on it. They measured the tires and the two front tires were at 5/32, the two back tires were at 4/32. On April 1, 2009, I return to the dealership (58303) to have my tires replaced. I was going on vacation April8, 2009 (3000 mile road trip) and I was not going on those tires. I though, two of them are at 3/32 and maybe the other two have worn down to 3/32. The dealership checked the tires and I was inforned that all the tires were at 4/32. I ask how that can be they just checked the at 3/32, 3000 miles ago. I was inforned they didn't do it right. They were using a colered coded go/no gage, uncalibrated. The only way you can accurately measure 3/32=.09375 is to use a dial indicator depth gage calibrated to a national standard. These issues cause me to wonder about all the other test equipment, (Calipers, Torque Wrenches, Electronic meters, etc.) used by the dealerships. DO THEY CALIBRATE ANY OF THEIR TEST EQUIPMENT? The extra mile extended life program is just a method of separating you from your money. I have talk to and read posting on the internet of other prople having the same problem with this program. bydave151on 10/25/2007

Great Dependabe Truck, I was going in to pay cash. But poor management, he had me wait 3 hours before he could take 1 min to tell me that they do not adjust the price not even a dollar. Never again

Nothing to Brag About

by12ringson 10/12/2007

I went to this dealership to no kidding buy a new tundra that very day. I found one that I wanted on their incoming order list. Ready to make a deposit on it I asked for the best price. I sat there waiting forever while the sales manager played his old school tactics. They then said that they were not going to discount the Tundra at all! Not one penny, so I left, went next door and bought a Chevy that very day (which I like much more actually). The following week this dealer calls and tells me that they will sell it to me for 500 over invoice. Too late, I can't understand why they play these games, why not just be straightforward with customers. I found their sales staff to be nice but it seemed like they just pulled them off of the street, they were not knowledgable about the products and had a high pressure sales technique. They were asking me if the color on this truck or that truck would work for me after only about 5 minutes at the lot. Be prepared to go old school at this dealer.

Pretty decent dealer, too many old pressure tactcs

byoklalawon 08/01/2007

I Hate the old fashioned pressure tactics of making the customer wait long periods of time while the salesman goes to talk to the manager etc. This dealership still uses this stuff to a moderate degree. They will try to compete with other dealers in the area, but their claim of giving you a great price with a simple call was not realized when I tried. Still, they sell a good product in a decent facility and if you do your homework and brace yourself with a glass of wine, you will be able to buy a toyota without losing more than one shirt.
