I want to give a big shout out to the sale Michele Kratic she was very awesome and warm and understand and was not very pushy or try to get you to sell you a car and write a check that day an d was very fun and easy going na the hospitality was awesome. compare to other dealers very pushy and trying to win the sales pitch. Please continue to improve and do not change.
Good Price and Service
We did our research on SUV's. We test drove 4 models before narrowing to either the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. We compared pricing with multiple dealers and had an our best quote from Motorcars Honda in Cleveland Hts. with .09 financing. We went to Classic Toyota to see the RAV4 XLE one more time before making our final decision. We drove the RAV4 again and liked the styling slightly more. Classic Toyota beat our best RAV4 quote and came within $400 of our Honda quote. they couldn't give us .09 financing, but offered 1.9%. we decided to go with the RAV4 and are very pleased. Everyone from Jason Wilhoite in sales to management, finance and Rick B. inSales delivery were great. Because we did our homework, we got a deal we were happy with. This dealership staff is very service oriented and we would definitely consider them for future purchases.
Great first new- car buyer experience
This is our son's first new car. He did a lot of reviews online (Edmunds, KBB etc) and decided on a Camry. While it was a 1 hour drive to Mentor, the car, the price and the helpful salesman gave him the right car at a much better price than any Akron dealer and was very helpful and courteous. Well worth the drive.
Satisfying Car Buying Experience!
We visited Classic Toyota because they responded to my e-mail bid request for a Highlander Limited in less than an hour. We had first visited Metro Toyota in Cleveland where we leased our 2008 Highlander Sport, but their final offer was $1,200 higher than Classic's bid. So much for repeat buyer loyalty! We were treated very courteously by the sales associate at Classic Toyota and he adhered to the e-mail bid, including the $22,000 trade in value of our 2008 Highlander Sport sight unseen. When the car we wanted had a DVD video system that we did not want, he offered it at the dealer cost with an additional $300 discount. The Highlander Limited we wanted was coming off the truck while we were there and the sales associate braved the elements to get it inside for us to examine. We could have taken the car home later that day, but chose to wait until the next morning. The vehicle was thoroughly prepped and the sales associate did a superb job explaining all the new features of the Limited at the time of delivery. This was one of the best car buying experiences we've ever had!
Looking for an alternative
I bought my Toyota Echo in 2001 at Classic. Service was OK up until a few years ago. They seem to be overwhelmed, and cannot keep up. They kept my car the last two times for longer than expected. In one case it was for three days to locate the source of a noise in the front wheels. Since there is nowhere else to go nearby, I'll probably have to keep using them.
Bought a "Certified" Toyota Corolla with 30,400 miles from Classic. "Certified" means the car supposedly underwent a rigorous 161-point inspection up to Toyota standards. Well, 4 days after I drove the car off the lot the brakes made a horrible grinding noise. And after a day of heavy rain, there was a pool of water in the backseat from a faulty window seal. Took Classic a whole week to fix it. Got the car back, and after 2 days the brakes were grinding again. Mechanics ruined my backseat fixing the window seal. Not worth the headaches of going back to Classic...brought the car to an honest local mechanic who fixed the brakes right. Do not buy a car from ANY Classic dealership...you WILL regret it!!!!!
Best Dealership in the Area
I started out with emails to obtain information and quotes. Classic responded quickly with all the information I requested. The salespeople were friendly and enthusiastic. I never felt any pressure to buy a car. This dealership takes pride in their business. They treat their customers with respect and do not play "games". I recommend them highly!!!
