Very disappointing experience.
Current BMW owner here. Highly recommended BMW and BMW shopping experience to my parents who are actively looking for new vehicle. After finally pursuading them to look into BMW they decided they wanted to test drive a new BMW X3. After a day of test driving at Porsche, Jaguar, MB and Audi, we pulled up to Jake Sweeney BMW at 4:30 and they closed at 6. We walked in and waited and waited to be helped but to no avail. Finally a young lady helped us but said she wasn't in sales but would "try to help us." She was very nice and answered all my parents questions. She told us that tonight the Christmas party for Jake Sweeney and she was excited. When the time came for test drive, she said she needed my parents insurance. The entire day at all the other dealers this was never asked of us and I had been driving so my parents didn't think to bring theirs as they're in the car. So we were told it's because "someone lied to us and they didn't have insurance so I'm sorry, it's our policy." Thought this was odd but we go to get our test drive car and this rep has us all walking around the lot for 10-15 mins in the freezing cold while she attempts to find a "retired service loner 2017 x3" to no avail she can't find it. Then we find out that the retired service loaner is the sales floor car. Thought this was odd and that brand new ones would be on the floor. So we finally get another car to drive and the car sold itself but the lack of professionalism did not. As soon as we pulled back in the associates seemed to be waiting on us so they could all go to the party and told this Rep that they'd be at the Mexican place down the street and to meet her there. We didn't even get a packet or any info. As an avid BMW supporter, this experience left me truly, truly disappointed that I ever talked up how respectful and professional the BMW company was. Definitely won't be recommending any other of my friends or family to this dealer. We were treated haphazardly and like we were a bother to be rushed out.

A Stellar Buying Experience!!!
My wife and i visited BMW of Cincinnati to look at a CPO M235i. I had made an appointment with Jeff Robinson so when we arrived the car was parked in front of the Certified Pre-Owned showroom. We test drove the car and sat down with Jeff to discuss the purchase. The entire experience was first-rate. We were treated with respect at every step of the negotiations; no hidden fees or "gotchas." We simply could not be more pleased with both the car and the buying experience. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased my second BMW from Jake Sweeney BMW after spending several years driving another mfr. My experience with Jake Sweeney and Brad Schultz the first time (new 335i) was exceptional and I had no reservations returning as I planned to go back to BMW. I was interested in a certified pre-owned 550i and Brad did a great job introducing me to several attractive options in the used 5-series lineup that helped make my decision. 1st Time Customer
I traveled from Indianapolis to Cincinnati to test drive a CPO used BMW at Jake Sweeney. Not only did I find a great car, but also an exceptional sales and service staff. My sales representative, Brad S., was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and a true BMW enthusiast himself. It was a joy to "work" (felt more like play) with him. I have interacted with multiple BMW dealerships in IN, KY and NC over the past dozen years and can honestly say Jake Sweeney and Brad S. are a step above the already high standards expected from a BMW experience.
My dad and I traveled from Louisville, KY to Jake Sweeney in Cincinnati for a deal that I found online for a used BMW 3 series. I had been to several different dealerships and dealt with many sales representatives in the Louisville area and the experience I had at here was beyond comparison to my other experiences. When we arrived, Brad S. greeted us and was quick to help with any questions or concerns we had. He was extremely informative and gave me more information than any other dealer I had worked with before. Most of the dealers I had worked with before assumed that my dad would be buying the car because I brought him with me as a mentor and they did not give ME the attention that I expected and, therefor, did not gain my business or respect. He taught me and my dad a great deal about the BMW brand. I was very impressed by the condition of the car. For a used car, it is as close to "new" as can be. I did end up purchasing the car and Brad went above and beyond in making sure the car was in the best condition when I arrived to pick it up. He patiently assisted me in personalizing my settings and taught me all about the computer settings of the car. As my dad and I drove away, he said he has bought a lot of nice cars- volvos, mercedes, etc- and this was by far the most impressive experience he has ever had. Brad is a great representative for the company and his professionalism speaks volumes. I will definitely be a returning customer and would recommend Jake Sweeney to anyone looking to purchase any car. It was well worth the drive from Louisville.

It is rare to go anywhere today and see the same level of client care evidenced by the Service department at Jake Sweeney BMW. They continue to surprise me! On any given occasion I can call with a question (or stop by) and not feel burdensome. 2nd better than the first....
This is the 2nd BMW I've bought from Sweeney BMW. Jon Ogden (Ass't Sales Mgr) and Paul Bonner (Sales Manager) when out of their way to find the exact car I wanted (had to be shipped from the port, and was headed to another dealership at the time). They were very fair on my trade-in, as well as the sales price of the car. Great, friendly, long established dealership.

I have bought 4 BMW's from Jim Gels at Sweeney in the past 10 years, and have had the same consistency in service since day one. Jim takes the time to evaluate needs and is not of the "Gotta buy today" mentality. I check around to make sure their pricing is in line and they have never let me down.
