Huebner Subaru

Purchased my first Subaru and glad it was from Huebner! Traveled two hours however, the experience and reception was well worth the drive. I had been shopping/pricing used Outbacks when I came across a new 2016 Outback listing with Huebner. My initial contact was with Brittany via email and phone conversation. She did a fantastic job of answering my questions, providing a price range of my trade-in sight unseen, gathering my credit information and negotiating a sale price on the Outback. Arriving the next day an hour and a half late for my appointment, Shane greeted me, pointed out the Outback, exchanged keys and provided a brief tutorial. Slapped a plate on and sent me out for a test drive. When I returned he juggled working with me and two other clients. Tried to squeeze a few more dollars off the purchase price however, Shane remained firm at the original discounted price. Huebner did offer me more on the trade-in which helped off-set the purchase price. Zipped over to Subaru business manager Luke who offered some very attractive extended warranty packages and had my documentation already. Received a great 0% finance rate signed my name over to indentured servitude and was on my way home in a brand new Outback. Dealership was clean, efficient and well organized. They are proud of their customer service and from the moment I arrived I could understand why. I was greeted with a smile and welcome by everyone I met. I was asked by everyone if I had been helped or if I required anything. Shane was very genuine and treated me like a local. Don't know If i will have the opportunity to work with the service department however, I have no doubt that they will be as friendly and efficient as the front side of the dealership.

Excellent reception, Honest and fast services

This is a great dealership. They sell very good cars at incredibly cheap prices. I checked their website, found the car I wanted, went there and,... Bingo.... there was the car. Lee Laughlin was the sales guy who gave me an my buddy an incredibly polite, respectful, honest, fast and kind reception. The finance man, Luke, was great. Before anything, the car and all paperwork were ready. When I asked for the nearest gas station to fill my tank before leaving, guess what! They told me not to worry about and, respectfully, Lee drove to the gas station and bought a full tank for me free of charge. These guys are the best. If you don't know about HUENBER CHEVROLET SUBARU, you got to go there. Their address is 1155 Canton Rd NW Carrollton,OH 44615. Ask for Lee when you get there. Lee is the man.

The Perfect Fit

This was my very first car buying experience at a dealership, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. The associates were dependable from the beginning from first contact via phone to inquire about a vehicle, to the confirmation call the day of, and the vehicle was waiting for me upon arrival. The sales associate, Shane Laizure, was very personable and helpful. He assisted me in finding the most suitable car, and even looked at dealerships elsewhere to try to best meet my needs. The staff aided me in making informed decisions without being overbearing or pushy, which is often a concern at dealerships. Everyone was professional and the atmosphere pleasant. I love the 2013 Outback, it rides smoothly, is functional, and was a reasonable price. I would highly suggest others to go here based on my experience.

Staff was amazing, very helpful, informative and overall made the process easy. I'm pleased with the awesome experience I received and am excited, happy, in love with my new car!!! Great Experience (for the 4th time!)

We are completely satisfied with our buying experience at Huebner Chevrolet and salesman Rob Forbes, demonstrated by the fact that this is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from him. Huebner is over an hour from our home, but well worth the trip every time. The prices can't be beat and Rob is very professional, polite, and always goes the extra mile. He is very attentive and did everything he could to make sure we were not only happy with our Outback, but that it was exactly what we wanted. Never at any point did we feel pressured to buy. He was very patient with us, and he worked with our schedule to make this an easy and trouble-free process. Rob is a very trustworthy man working at what we believe to be a trustworthy dealership. We recommend Rob Forbes to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle and we will definitely buy from him again when looking to make another purchase.

Great Experience

Honestly I had not heard of Huebner Chevrolet Subaru before I ran across their listing on-line for late-model used pickup that met my search criteria. I had been shopping for a couple of weeks at that point and although the truck looked pretty sharp in the posted photos, I was not too optimistic that they were accurate portrayals -- being disappointed had been my experience so far to that date. Not only had I been disappointed in the quality, I had also been subjected to the typical "used-car salesman" pressure tactics in various shapes and forms. I was so disgusted with the process that I called in advance and stated to the salesperson handling that vehicle that if the truck was not as represented I would turn around and walk away. He assured me that the truck was every bit as impressive in person as online. He said it is one of the cleanest vehicle they had ever seen for its age. "No bull?" I asked. "No, sir" he replied. "We will see," I replied. And see I did. We arrived and Nick Roudebush was waiting for my wife and I, the truck out front ready for our inspection. What a beauty it was. I know you are not supposed to gush accolades about something when you are going to try to strike a deal, but honestly, I was trying to find something wrong to justify the price being as low as it was. We took it for a ride and when we got back Nick suggested that I pull it in the detailing bay and inspect it under the bright lights. He patiently waited while we check out all the nooks and crannies. There was no "sales-speak," no pressure, only assistance on Nick's part. The truck was just as advertised and we purchased it right then and there. The loan process was conducted fairly and expediently. We were out of there in less than two hours, a very happy customer. A great car buying experience. Looking forward to making the trip to Carrollton to lease a Subaru next year and Nick will be our guy.

Excellent and "Speedy" Customer Service

This was my third Subaru product purchased at Huebner's through Jackie DeWitt. Jackie goes above and beyond in sales. Within 4 hours of letting her know I was ready to purchase my Crosstrek she and Josh Cole had located one for me that had all the features I was looking for in a Crosstrek. Jackie and Rob Forbes paid a personal visit to my home to assist me with the Homelink feature. I have owned two Outbacks over the last 15 years. Cindy Warrington played an important role as I did my research on Subaru products over the last two years. When my outback was in for service, if I needed a loaner car, Cindy made sure I tried out a Crosstrek or a Forester. The Huebner's team across the board has helped me with questions, provided information, and worked together to provide an excellent customer service experience.

Work with manager Brittney, and Kira from Huebner was able to get the car ive been looking for for a couple mths nows. Great deal, gair pricing and was able yo complete everything almost everytging prior to me coming in. Issue with prior owner didnt turn in the second key, however they reimbursed me for it! After paperwork was signed. Kira made everything easy, and fair! Would definatly recommend

Me and my wife have bought many cars in our life's. We have bad, good and ugly memories about experience of buying cars. Huebner is the best, way ahead of others. No pressure, no time limits, no forced suggestions, no gimmicks. I thinks I was terrible customer because I changed my mind several times, from used car to new car, from this trim to that trim, from double cab to crew cab and so far. Even I decided to wait till next day. They had no problem with it. And most important I got great deal on new truck and on my trade in. Go to big H. You will not be disappointed.

Low pressure sales, lowest price on the internet !!!

Knowing what type of car I wanted, I went to my local dealerships. After looking around I decided on a car and the options I wanted. Not being a fan of car dealers, I put on a happy face and proceeded to talk turkey. Well apparently I must have talked turkey to well because the prices they where throwing at me they must have thought I was a turkey. Well it doesn't take long to get your fill of that !! Now what to do? Internet, seems like a reasonable thing to do. Searched for the car I wanted with the options I liked and In a instance there it was. Now time to click the lowest to highest price button and I'm not impressed !! Expand my search radius and voila !!! There it is, everything I want and look at the price, could that be right ? Who is this dealer offering this car at a great price? Huebner Chevrolet Subaru, hmm, I've heard of that place. Carrollton, OH, que the flashback music please, yes I remember the old commercials with the caped salesman who was going to save you money. Mr. Cost Plus and the giant statue that stood on the roof. With the price they were showing on the internet I had to take the 45 minute drive up there. Sometimes the planets do align and the sun does shine a little brighter. I'm at a car dealership and everybody is pleasant, helpful and apparently honest !!! Low pressure, straight forward talk, people who truly wanted me to be 100% happy and totally satisfied !!! I got exactly what I wanted at the best price around. Yeah, definitely a good day. If you are looking for a car, check out Huebner in Carrollton OH. It's worth the drive. In case you're wondering the statue of Mr. Cost Plus is no longer there, but the savings sure are !!!!

I stop by to get my truck worked on and stopped in to see Jackie we were talking and she asked if I like to trade and get a new one I told her I was looking around and I had been doing my research, drove a few new trucks, and ask questions. Jackie asked if she could try to find me a new truck I said she could try. Jackie Dewitt, was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and eager to help, but not high pressure, She could not find a new one I wanted so she ask if I like to order one with all the things I wanted, well it took some time but my 2016 Colorado came in. She is wonderful to work with and she went above and beyond to take care of me. Jackie was fantastic about showing me everything about the truck and how everything worked. She left nothing to question. She made it very clear that I could reach her anytime regarding anything. Jackie is professional and awesome, She is wonderful to work with and she went above and beyond to take care of me. Jackie has now sold me (2) new trucks and I will look to her when I am ready to buy a new one. Stop in to see Jackie she will help and with no pressure!

Ford Raptor (UPDATED TO 1 STAR)

Update 2/25/16 Before I purchased the Raptor mentioned below I voiced concerns with my sales rep Shane that the brakes felt funny. He assured me that they would look into it and prior to buying told me it was fixed. I took his word for it, drove it and it did indeed feel better. My mistake for trusting a car dealership. Shortly after my purchase I noticed the brakes started to feel funky again and the truck started pulling to the right. I needed an oil change so I took the truck to Valley Ford Truck and asked them to check the alignment. While they were rotating the tires they noticed that there was an issue with the brake pads. It turns out whoever had worked on the brakes installed two inboard brake pads on one side and the opposite on the other causing the caliper to twist and bind the rotor (Valley Ford's words, not mine). After hearing this I inspected the brakes and there it was, clear as day. Needless to say this was a safety issue and needed to be fixed. I paid the $371.61 for the new pads, rotors and labor and took the truck home. I emailed Shane at Huebner to let him know about this. I was looking to be reimbursed for the repairs, or at least an admission that it wasn't handled correctly. I was told I would need to bring the truck back to Huebner for them to look at it. Huebner is over an hour away from my house and I mentioned to Shane that i already had them fix the brakes because it wasn't safe to keep driving. Basically after that they told me I was [non-permissible content removed], I should have brought it to them sooner. Shane assures me that "they brought it in and resurfaced the rotors". I can assure you that had they done that, they would have definitely noticed the mistake on the pads. They either didn't do what they said, or they did and ignored the major safety issue. This might not be a big deal on a $5,000 20 year old Chevy, but on a $46,000 truck, I assure you it is a BIG deal. So, read my review below and the review above and decide for yourself. I stand by the fact that the original transaction was excellent, however none of that matters if they lied about the brakes being fixed and put me and my family in danger.

This is the second car I have bought at this dealership - both Impalas. I had such a great past experience with John Leahy and Huebner's that I didn't even look elsewhere when I was ready to buy again. Everyone at the dealership are always very friendly and helpful. The process of buying there is seamless. By the time I came back from the test drive, my paperwork was all ready for me to sign! Great group of people! Will buy again!

We are more than thrilled with our new (for us) Subaru Forester and our experience at Huebner Subaru. I've been in many times to talk with John Leahy to talk Subaru. He's always been very patient talking with me, even when I was not buying, and is clearly enthusiastic about the company. I love Subaru's commitment to the environment, animal welfare, and their customers so the more I learned the more I hoped for a Subaru some day. I guess timing is everything and I happened on our Forester on Autotrader the day it was listed. It is a 2015 model with under 4000 miles (so slightly used) and was a Huebner loaner. It is LOADED with all the cool stuff including Subaru Eyesight. It was a dream come true. John showed us all the bells and whistles, and then some, and I knew the car was ours halfway through the test drive. Thanks John for all your help.
