I spoke with Jessica and Brett. Jessica told me she pulled the key and will wait for me to get there. She knew I lived 46 miles away. When i got there, the vehicle sold half an hour ago. Jessica and the manager offered to find me the same vehicle, but because the vehicle is out of state, by the time I take possession, it would have over 300 miles and would cost over $2,000 more. I will never buy a car from this dealer.
Purchased a 2011 camry and overpaid for it. Felt pressured so it wasn't their fault entirely. Next time I'll do a better job with negotiating a fair price and not expect the dealer to do so. But I'm still skeptical and this time I'll be firm and if necessary I'll walk away if I don't get a fair price for the Avalon they have for sale.
My truck was dropped off for repair(service bulletin), sat outside for 5.5 months(entire winter), returned to me with large dent and check engine light on, took back and dent was fixed but stuck with check engine light on. I dropped Toyota Tacoma off for frame replacement d/t service bulletin (rust holes in frame) Oct 2014. Tacoma was completed at end of Mar 2015. Truck sat out in entire Winter without long term storage. Picked truck up and noticed very large dent on passenger side fender. Next morning check engine light appeared. Had light diagnosed at auto store and called premier Monday and was told to bring it back. Dent was fixed but dealer will not make repairs to correct check engine light. Service manager wrote, "the length of time the vehicle was sitting and not being driven could have caused the condition". I was given the number for Toyota Motors to call. The phone number provided was for Toyota Canada. I live in USA I dropped off my Tacoma In good running condition without check engine light on. After 5.5 months I received back a Tacoma with large dent and check engine light. It was perfectly acceptable for premier to return my completed truck back with large dent and not say a thing. Pretty scary, I seriously hope they took the rest of work professionally and truck doesn't fall apart due to someone's neglect. So now it is my responsibility to contact Toyota for remedy. Not sure how my experience fits into premier's vision statement. "To be the most successful and respected car company in America."
Great overall car purchasing experience
Tahl was very attentive to my needs. I have been buying cars for over 30 yrs. He has shown the most professional experience I've ever have at a dealership. I definitively be back to purchase a car from him in the mere future.
Gave me exactly what I wanted and then some!
My sales lady (Christina R.) was more than helpful and really went out of her way to meet my schedule. The process went smooth and they even matched another deal I was given after the fact. Great overall experience!
Nothing but good things to say!
Just bought a used car from Premier and had a great experience from the outset. My sales rep, Molly, was awesome....no pressure and a great sense of humor. The sales manager, Ernie, was as nice as could be and offered no B.S. They gave me the high end of KBB trade value, and a very competitive price on a used vehicle. The vehicle came with Q cert program including three free oil changes and free car washes. I will most certainly visit this dealership again for my next vehicle purchase.
Treated me Bad!!!!!
They are part of KBB Trade-In-Program but refused to honor the price! When I questioned the finance manager about it, he got rude and confrontational. His manager wasn't any better. They accused me of not being a fair person. Funny when they are the ones who lie and try to intimidate customers. I walked in with a check and was ready to buy, but walked right out still holding it.
Horrible-Worst Experience-Bad Cars and Customer Service!
Horrible stay away! Go somewhere else! Dont let your friends or family go here! They were rude they try to take advantage and they provide crappy cars at inflated prices. They had my new car in their garage more than I got to drive it. The thing needed a steering column replaced multiple times in a matter of a month and a half. In 2 months I had to borrow 2 lot cars, 2 rental cars, and eventually they traded me out of the Saturn for a Pathfinder so I purchased 2 cars. The people were snotty, no empathy or understanding. I was told I am a young, single, woman and should have purchased a new car. That I am not going to find a car without issues for $10,000. I said I dont expect the thing not to start when I have had it for 3 days. When you say you are going to fix something then I expect it to be fixed. I am trying to figure out how they stay in business. So upset I cant put it into words. They treat you like an idiot when you tell them something is wrong. I can tell you something isnt working properly if something fell off the car, if the lights dont turn on, if the freaking thing doesnt start. Dont alienate your customers and expect business back. I told them that apparently it was my mistake to go to a car dealer for a car that works properly and is safe oops! I am happy to warn everyone stay away! It shouldn't take two months just to end up with a vehicle that works sometimes!
I went to Premier Toyota because my parents bought their Toyota Prius there 7 yrs ago & highly recommended it to me. My overall experience with Premier Toyota was awesome! This was mainly due to my salesman, Tahl B. He was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. Tahl went way above & beyond his call of duty. My previous car engine blew and I was really in a bind as far as time frame & budget. I went to see Tahl on Saturday, & after test driving several cars in my price range, I found a car that I loved but never dreamed I would be able to afford. I drove the car home Saturday evening to see if I liked it, & by Sunday afternoon it was mine. I couldn't go over a specific monthly payment and Tahl was able to make it happen. He also priced out tires for me to get an idea how much that would cost when the time comes to replace them. Although the car has brand new tires & I won't need to replace them for some time. Wesley was also very helpful with the financing by getting me a great interest rate. He had everything ready for me to sign when I got there, & I was in & out of his office in no time. Everybody there was so nice, from the receptionist to the used car manager, Ernie. So whether you are looking for a new car or a used car, go to Premier Toyota and ask for Tahl B.! I guarantee you will leave happy!
My expereience with Premier Toyota was extremely frustrating. I have been shopping around for weeks trying to find the best deal on a vehicle as most do when I came acrossed a Ford Focus for 12900 on edmunds that was at Premier Toyota. The dealership offered a chat feature which I used to speak with a sales associate initially and shortly after we spoke by phone. Seems another individual was thinking of purchasing the vehicle and I waited to hear the outcome. A few minutes later the sales associate called me back and told me that the vehicle was still available and I said thanks and that I was contimplating on driving up to see it the next day and got Premier Toyota's hours because it would be a saturday and I live about an hour and a half away. The next morning I continued to think about the vehicle and came to the conclusion in the early afternoon that it would be worth my time to go check it out. I again viewed the vehicle online (on the dealerships site) before I left and it was still advertised on the lot for sale. I decided to text the sales associate that I was heading to the dealership because I figured the associate may be busy and I did not want to interupt. When I arrived at the dealership, after my hour and a half drive, my girlfriend and myself walked around the lot for a little while patiently waiting on the associate I had spoken with. The car that was advertised was no longer on the lot. I figured it must have been sold and I had missed out but when the sales person came out and spoke to me I received an apology because apparently the dealership had decided to ship the car to auction just that morning. The sales person said ,I wish you had called and I'm really sorry and I explained I had sent a text. I was then informed ,as the case may be, the dealership or that number does not receive text messages. I was told that I said I would call before arriving and that things like this happen. It was explained to me that the car could have been sold before I arrived and i explained I would have understood that. What I don't understand is this, why was I not told the previous day that the vehicle would be going to auction in the morning?( I was told of the person that was interested in it that day) I would imagine there is someone that knows that information and could relay it to sales people in a meeting , by email or etc. I am not certain why the vehicle was still advertised as for sale the same day online and a couple days thereafter. I see my mistake in not calling, but other than a sorry and informing me that I could pay a deposit if I absolutely wanted the vehicle I had not PHYSICALLY seen and in return they would ship it back to the dealership. I guess so I could drive back up again after being upset and hope it was everything I saw online. I do not fault the sales person in this but neither do I fault myself. My issue is with the fact the small piece of information about the plan for the vehicle to be shipped to auction the next day was information never provided to me. Rather I took a large portion out of my weekend to travel to a dealership for a vehicle that was not there. I sincerely hope that this is addressed and does not happen to another customer. I wont be taking my chances again.
Got it right from the very start!
Lets start right from when we ( Judy and Dave Ferry ) pulled into the lot at Premier Toyota. We met Amanda one of your Premier Sales persons. She walked up to us at the far in of the east lot and introduce herself in a very nice way. Then we started looking around and some of the vehicles that we were interested in. Amanda answered all of our question about all the vehicles that we looked at. About ten minutes had pass and Amanda introduced us to Tahl B. , from there is was all down hill and no worries. B. made mention of the 2012 Prius V that was parked in the lot. My wife and I look at the vehicle and also took a test drive with Benit and Amanda. What a great vehicle to drive, love the technology that it comes with. Any question that I would have about the vehicle B. made sure that my question was answered. His knowledge of the vehicle and how it worked was very informative. Here is why I give B. and Amanda the rating that they deserve. (1) Polite, (2) Stayed on track, (3) Always courteous, (4) was not pushy, (5) Communications with us and the finance people, they made sure that we had a good understanding what was going on. (6) Can say enough about Amanda she stay right with B. until everthing was complete. From Judy And I the Premier Family knows what going on when it comes to selling cars to the working family. You guys are the B.O.M.B. One thing that I forgot to mention. Amanda and Tahl helped us unload the items from my truck to the new Prius V. From Judy & Dave Ferry.......PS Job well done in all categorie.......Boo Yaah
Highly Recommend Premier!
I did a lot of comparative shopping and made my final new car selection with Premier, which is the second vehicle I've purchased from there. Tahl B. was great to work with, and I know from past experience that Premier's service dept. is very good. I would highly recommend Premier Toyota Scion!
Best price and very professional.
I drove to Premier Toyota from Cleveland because they had the best price for the car that I wanted. I was really nervous coming in as a first time buyer at a dealership, but my experience was great! My salesman, Tahl, made me feel very comfortable and understood the concerns I had. He helped answer all the questions I had honestly. Tahl made sure that my family and I were comfortable; always asked if we needed anything. He answered all the questions I had about the vehicle to the best of his knowledge. He was well prepared upon my arrival. Tahl is a great sales associate and I will definitely recommend him to any one that wants to purchase a vehicle.
Tahl B. is a wonderful sales associate. He helped me get into the car I wanted with no problems. He made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions to the best of his knowledge. He had all the paper work and all the documents for the car that I wanted to purchase when I arrived there. He is a wonderful person to work with. Thanks Tahl!
I am from Virginia and was buying a car for my daughter by internet. The salesman said the car I was getting was in excellent condition, had been thru a 120 point checklist, and that the pictures and description were accurate. The salesman even sent extra pictures. I asked for and was promised a copy of the checklist. My payment was processed on 1/21/13. On 2/1/13 I am sent a checklist for a Honda (I bought an Olds) and was sent a service ticket for an oil change. The ticket noted the car needed tire, rotor, passenger exterior mirror, and an air cleaner. Nothing in pictures nor in conversation disclosed this to me until today. Beware......I have emails for proof if needed. Bill Craft, Blacksburg VA. Do not buy unless you can see for yourself as their pictures, descriptions, and conversations will just mislead you.
Everyone is kind and professional and we had an excellent overall experience. Our salesman, Donald, worked with us through every aspect and even came in on his day off when we were ready to finalize the deal. I highly recommend Premier Toyota, it is well worth the drive to Amherst!!
I had been looking to purchase a newer used vehicle for quite some time. My vehicle one morning decided to not start, of course on a day that my wife had to work. I began looking at some of the links that I bookmarked and became frustrated due to all of the good deals being at shady looking, online only, or repo-auction dealers. After reviewing online prices from numerous websites I found that this dealership had the best deal for a low mileage Yaris (with all of the options I wanted, clean Carfax, $1700 below NADA, and Toyota certified). I started planning the trip to the dealership for the weekend because my wife worked the rest of the week. My sales lady Jenny saw that I was in a bind with being two and a half hours away, and needing transportation to work, she offered to have someone come pick me up that day. I was completely astonished that they would drive to come get me from that distance. I understand that most would say that they did it just to make a sale. For me, it was a life-saver. Once I made it to the dealership to see the car in perfect condition as described, Jenny showed me some of the Yaris specific functions so that I would have no trouble operating the car on my trip home. I worked Dave who helped me decide my finance term, and options. He was very friendly and worked out very request that I had. Pricing was very straight-forward too. Only the documentary fee (which I see most dealers charge) had me wondering. But I see it as a charge for the full interior and exterior detailing, new tires, wiper blades, oil change, 160 point certification and full tank of gasoline charge. Talk about a steal on my part! After having the vehicle for roughly two weeks, I have no regrets purchasing my car from Premier Toyota. I have also received a few follow up emails from Jenny to make sure everything was still great with my car. Thanks Again, A Happy Customer in MI
Beware The Arbitration Agreement That Restricts Your Legal Rights
No one buys a car expecting to have a legal issue with the dealership but should a legal issue ever occur would you want to be able to pursue that issue without restriction or would you want to be restricted by the dealership in how you can pursue a legal issue against them? My husband and I bought a car from Premier Toyota in Amherst this past Saturday. One of the documents we were asked to sign when doing the paperwork for the transaction was an "Arbitration Agreement". A cursory reading of this document made it clear that by signing it we would be giving up some of our legal rights to pursue the dealership in a court of law should there ever be reason to do so. We refused to sign the document at least until we consulted an attorney. The dealership continued with the rest of the purchase paperwork but then would not allow us to take the car home. Let me be clear, we paid for the car and we filled out all of the purchase agreement paperwork but the dealership would not allow us to take the car because we would not sign the arbitration agreement. We spoke to an attorney who advised against ever signing a document that restricts one's legal rights to pursue a potential grievance. We called the dealership to re-iterate that we would not sign the arbitration agreement and we were told that they dealership would not sell us the car (the car that they already sold us). Beware of ever signing an arbitration agreement and beware of the efforts of this dealership to persuade you to sign one. In an effort to get us to sign the arbitration agreement the Sales Manager mischaracterized the terms of the agreement and falsey told us that all dealerships require such an agreement.
great sales staff, great location
My wife was uneasy driving her front wheel car in the snow so I decided to get her another Toyota Rav4 with 4 wheel drive. She had a Rav4 in the past and loved how it handled in any kind of snow. I submitted a price quote request to Premier Toyota and was promptly answered by Jen. I next went to the dealership to check out their stock of Rav4. Although they didn't have one in the exterior and interior color my wife wanted, Jen was able to find one quickly. Jen is very knowledgeable about Toyota products and is very professional. Now my wife is very happy with her new red Rav4.
From the moment we sat down with our sales person,Jen, the whole proces moved vey smoothly. All our questions and concerns were addressed. The finance person was also very professional. Jen was very knowledgable about the Corolla, instructing our daughter about the vehicle.
PREMIER TOYOTA IS OUR FRIEND
I would like to say that our (my husband and myself) experiences with Premier Toyota were excellent. I have been dealing with Major Harrison for over 15 years, or longer, and I could not ask for a better experience. This time, we met Jenn, who is in charge of internet sales, and we were so thrilled. She was amazing with customer service and knowledge regarding your products. She calls and sends notes and is amazing. She is so personable with people, as well. Major talked us out of a Mitsubishi we drove 15 years ago, or longer, and we have never looked back. His understanding of our finances and health conditions are so very evident. Kind and a heck of a gentleman. Jenn, is a wonderful asset to Toyota. The cars, speak for themselves. Everyone we came in contact with treated us with the respect and knowledge we came looking for. I will continue my relationship with this dealer for as long as the GOOD LORD LETS ME!!!!! Sincerely, Larry and Leah Strump P.S. We got a great deal!!!!!!
