by JMJohnson on 01/04/2026I am disappointed with how your service department handled the recent visit from my 16 year old daughter. She stopped to get her vehicle serviced and asked for some help swapping out her car battery. When it came time to settle up on… her bill, she was charged 40.00 for simply changing a battery. The cost of this minor service was bot communicated to my daughter prior to the work being done. This is NOT how a local business should treat a repeat customer. Very disappointing!Brianna Seeba

I went in for a tire rotation and an oil change, and they noticed that I had a leak in a fuel line from the pump and one misshapen tire. So that all was taken care of too to prevent me from having… dire problems in the future. I'm very pleased and impressed. Cody is the person I deal with most, and he is wonderful! by JMolfino on 04/15/2025The driver’s front tire was flat so needed to be filled before we could take it for a test drive. Next day we still came back to buy, but by next day the cooling fans were not working. Came back to pick up and were told that techs couldn’t… get it to overheat. Explained by my grandson again that it was the cooling fans. Techs looked at it again and found that cooling fans needed to be replaced. Comment was that it must have been missed when they looked at it. “As is”. For 7 days and even was in the shop for 2 of those days on day 9 car stopped and had to be towed to Rydel Honda, because, after talking to someone who answered the phone at 7am Monday morning told me that maybe sometimes if we talk to the service manager they might at least run diagnostics since we had talked with the sales man Jace, how will we know that the “Service engine soon” light that was on was just for the catalytic converter and doesn’t really mean anything. I had asked Jace to check with that service check that told him that and he disappeared through a door for about 2 minutes. He said yup, that’s what he said. And now we are towing it home and my grandson again that son has for years of car payments to look forward to. My husband and I have purchased vehicles of all sots from your business for the last 50 years. Congratulations, this is the wordy service we have ever experienced and the saddest part of the whole experience is that this is our next generation of your customers and I will remind them of this experience every time they need a new car because this is not how a quality business keeps their customers.Purchased new Truck at Rydel

We went for a trial run and I was sold as well as the Buick Envision was sold. Craig has years of experience in sales and knows his customers well. No time spent figuring things out. by tyler2024 on 05/24/2024I needed new tires one got wrecked and I had good years on it and wanted the same. On two different phone call they pushed michelins. I was told next week it would go in the mechanic shop for repairs and would get tires at the same time so… come in and look at the tires I might like them. When I got there, they were already on the pickup. I never agreed to them but talking to a guy over in the tire department not sure his name he told me they were 180 dollars a piece so I thought I'd leave them on since they were so much cheaper but not happy. When I went to pick up my truck I had to pay for two tires since insurance would only pay for two and rydell tried to charge me 212 dollars for tires I didn't want in the first place. After throwing a stink I did get my two tires for 180 dollars just didn't like being pushed into tires I didn't want. Still wish I had goodyears on it, but great body work.

by Charlie on 02/19/2024I bought a 2018 suburban 125000 mile vehicle at the end of November 2023 during the red tent event. I traded in my current vehicle which ran. After I brought in my title and lien release, I got a call they needed my lien release card. I… told them I brought it with the title. They lost it and said I needed to call the bank and get a new one. Ok. Then in the beginning of January 2024 it died and left my wife stuck in parking lot. The battery had to be replaced $250. End of January breaks start squeaking bring it in all brakes need replaced another $1000 uggg. Tires were also at end of life. ( I knew this when I bought it). Now early February transmission is slipping. That’s the last straw brought it to Rydells and was told $7000 to fix it. I talked to sales and was told they would buy it back for about half of what I bought it for less than 3 months ago. “To help me out” they said. Well I said no, and hung up. Lesson As-is at Rydells means “this vehicle will not last long - good luck” Addition took it to another dealer they were $1000 dollars cheaper to replace the transmission. And found a leak in the transmission cooler and wheel bearings needing replacing.Great first chevy car purchase experience at rydell grand forks ND

I have work with sales lady Savanah, she was great to deal with no gimmicks everything upfront. She is… very professional and has great smiles and respectful, I am very pleased with her service and help to purchase my 1st chevy in life at rydell dealership. My experience with sales lady and dealership was great, I would recommend other's to buy cars from rydell and contact Savanah. I am guessing other salesperson would also great but I have personal very good experience with Savanah. She has answered all my questions and help set up my phone to car, explain all car functions. Makes me and my wife very comfortable with car. God bless Savanah and her service is great dealership is also great. Just go with confidence you will not disappointed.
