We we're coming back from the beach and got into an accident, the insurance company said that Sanders Ford was one of their "preferred" shops, so we had the truck towed there. We live 2 hours away and waited 2 weeks for the work to be finished....when we got it back we had to turn around and take it back to a dealership repair shop because it had multiple things wrong with it. The headlights were not aligned, the windshield fluid line was not connected, the tires were rubbing against something and making a popping sound, the lower shield to the radiator needed to be repaired, the cooling reservoir tank was not connected properly, and the biggest issue was the missing bolts in EVERYTHING!! Reason the headlights weren't aligned? All bolts missing but one!! Screws missing in the fender retainer liner and the cooling reservoir tank was missing bolts! I answered "no" to all the questions asked because they did not do quality work.......
Buyer Beware.. Think before you buy!
My husband went to the dealership last night on an impulse. He test drove a 2014 Jeep and purchased on impulse. My husband was laid off from his job in February and currently is not employed. Though offered a job for May, this $32 K purchase will put a huge financial burden on our family. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Business Manager, Peter Marzouk and New Car Sales Manager, Darren Bailey. As the car was purchased at closing, paperwork possibly wasn't pushed through. I asked if this vehicle could be returned. I was dismissed. basically told it's our problem. They never verified employment, just ran for loan. I was told North Carolina offers no protection to a buyer, only to the dealership. Though responsibility lies with my husband, no concern was given. I was told they gave him a "free oil change" and dismissed. I would warn any buyer to think about your purchase prior! My husband suffers from PTSD and hasn't been making the best decisions. I guess the sale it always the goal and after it is made, no concern is given to the family.
Good sales experience, dealt fairly with no games, quality used cars
We worked with Tim in Sales, and he was great. He was honest and fair in his dealings, and very helpful in reaching a price that made sense. He never turned me over to his manager, which I appreciated. The used car we bought was very clean, and he allowed us to take it out for several hours alone to drive and have it inspected by another dealer. My only complaint was that after reaching an agreement, it took us 2 hours of waiting before we could meet with the finance guy just to write him a check. Very frustrating, but not Tim's fault.
Poor customer service
At least 2 service reps totally ignored me when i dropped off and picked up my car. The service desks were not even busy. It went to the point when the reps were asking one another, whos going to attend to me. Dont know what the problem is that they maybe having internally but it shows in front of the customers. I know, i use to be in customer service. The only reason i take my ford to that dealership, is because the next ford dealer is about an hour from my house.
Excellent, had appointment, arrived early. They took the truck right in and completed the first oil change and tire rotation in a timely fashion and I was off and back to work. Service tech was friendly and knowledgeable.
Very difficult to to talk to someone on the phone, and once you do they are rude and arrogant.
Nothing bad at all, Greg looked for almost two days to finally find the truck like I wanted. Once found Greg got it to the dealership, cleaned it and got it ready to go. g experience and I will return.
General Service Maintenance
Sanders Ford of Swansboro is an outstanding place for service and to purchase a vehicle. The only reason for not giving 5 stars because all service parts need to come from the Jacksonville store. Otherwise, there isn't any place better for me to go for all my vehicle needs. Staff is friendly and treat you with respect. I always feel like I got the best for my money.

Purchasing vehicle from Johnny Hulse
Just on a whim, I decided to drive through marine Chevrolet sales lot because they advertised a 2011 ford fiesta online. It was not there so I decided to drive to Sanders Ford and look at their Fiesta's. There I met a man named Johnny Hulse who showed me a 2014 Fiesta they had on the lot. After speaking with him and test driving the car I was ready to sign the dotted line. He is a great salesman and I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Sanders Ford!
The perfect salesman
Went to look a cars one day with a friend, we looked a two or three cars before a salesman came out to ask if he could answer any questions. Did not push or tell me how great the cars were. Stayed with us and answered all questions. Told him thank you and then I asked for his card(unusual for me). Came back the next day with my wife, found the same the same salesman. He was just the same, not pushy but knew the cars. All the people at the dealership were the same, not pushy and knew their product. We made a deal and bought a car. Now we had done our homework and visited other dealers, but we will go back if we want another car.
About a year ago, service at Sanders Ford was about average. Now it is outstanding. Their service reps know the warranties and are extremely helpful and professional, they have a shuttle, and a nice waiting room.

STAY away from sanders ford
I bought a 08 ram. 3 weeks later the clutch went. Another 3 weeks and the engine blew. they will not work with you once you take your car off the lot. so im now down 6000 dollars 80 days after i bought it. and they swore up and down the truck had nothing wrong with it when i bought it.
MY wife and I recently purchased a F150 Supercrew thru Bruce at Sanders Ford and it was a great experience. Bruce held the truck for 3 weeks while we closed on a house. They were fair on the trade and very patient with us. We couldn't have ask for anything more in our purchase of a new truck. Bruce was knowledgeable of the truck and did not hound us with calls on when to buy. He let us go at our own pace. Thanks Bruce!!!!!!
I took my 2007 F-150, that has never had ANY problems EVER since i have owned it to Sanders ford to be serviced for an upcoming trip i was taking, just wanted to do a transmission flush, a tire rotation, and fuel cleaning, on a Fri, they had it ALL DAY!! i picked it up on Fri, shelled out my $815 and went on my way. Sun evening check engine light came on, truck began to shake terrible, took it home and parked it. Called Sanders ford on Mon, they came and picked it up at 10 am, had my truck ALL DAY, told me coil wire was misfiring and they replaced it with a "used" one they had laying around the shop, never even called to ask me if i minded having USED parts put on my truck, which defeats the sole reason why anybody would take their FORD vehicle to a FORD dealership, but i didnt make a stink, went on about my business, got my truck and was on my way. TUES check engine light comes on AGAIN!!!!!!!!! take to Sanders Ford, Now it is the catalytic converter, which is on backorder, so they put on an aftermarket one until the FORD one could come in. WED i am supposed to leave on my trip, and low and behold, my truck is surging and acting crazy again!! So at this point i am DONE with Sanders ford and ask that they pay for me to take it somewhere else, which the declined and told me i NEED to bring it back there AGAIN!!! because they think i am a [violative content deleted]. i can not state it enough that my truck NEVER had one single problem, not so much as even a flat tire until i took it there. the ONLY thing good at Sanders Ford is the Shuttle Driver, he was very nice, pleasant, and overall a great person, its just too bad that he dont work on cars. i have heard nothing but TERRIBLE things about this place, i wouldnt tell my worst enemy to EVER go there. I think it is an OUTRAGE that they are operating in a military town and stealing from the men and women of our armed forces. Our men and women and sacrificing their lives, missing out on their children grow up, and getting ripped off by [violative content deleted] like this. it is an OUTRAGE!!!! PLEASE DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO SANDERS FORD!! YOU WILL PAY DEARLY, OUT OF POCKET AND ON THE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE!!!!
When my fuel pump went out pulling my travel trailer with my 05 F250 6.0 diesel I ended up having it towed to Sanders ford. The next morning (a Saturday) I went into Sanders to talk about having them fix it and they had already diagnosed the problem and had it in the shop. They finished it right away.My family and I were starting our 3000 mile drive to California when this happened and Sanders had me back on the road in less than 24 hours for a very reasonable price. Customer service was very helpful and understanding of my situation as well.

Bruce Wright has been our salesman for the past 5 years. We have purchased 3 cars from him at Sanders Ford of Jacksonville. Every visit has been pleasent, he was proffesional, knowledgeable and always made us feel like an important customer. My Husband and I have always bought and had our Ford vehicles serviced at Sanders Ford in Jacksonville. Tiffany our service advisor is always nice and informative. She lets us know what our recommended service is without pressuring us into an upsale of service. We like the family feel of the dealership. Great staff and comfortable waiting room with WIFI. I was able to get on my laptop and work as I waited for my oil change on our 2008 Ford Focus.
