Best Service Ever!
Glad I picked this site because I can offset the one poor review on it. I have been servicing my wife's X1 at Rallye for almost 2 yrs. My service advisor is Mr DelVecchio. I have never received anything but excellent service from Mr DelVecchio and Rallye. My wife is disabled so I take perfect care of the car and have full confidence in Mr DelVecchio & Rallye. I also drive there from Brooklyn because their service is that good. The display on X1 said transmission was not in Park and to consult service. I called Mr DelVecchio and was told to bring car in immediately. My wife came along for the first time to meet who was taking such good care of her. We waited a short time while the issue was diagnosed hoping it would be a simple reflash. Mr DelVecchio came back and told us it was a faulty part that they had in stock. He gave us a loaner and we had a nice lunch in Long Island. Wife's car was ready a few hours later, Not only did Mr DelVecchio fix that problem. He also changed the oil & filter, fixed the light on the visor vanity mirror and fixed a piece of door trim that was coming loose. If that kind of service doesn't blow you away I don't know what will. Buy and service your car at Rallye for the best experience ever
There are too many other nice dealers in the area. Steer clear from those rude people who don't respect u or ur time. I made an appointment, rented a car, and drove for +5 hours from BOSTON & guess what, "we have bad news for you, the car is sold this morning". No one bothered calling and telling me it was sold until I was there. No "We're sorry". I waited for 1 hr for the guy I had appointment with because he simply made 2 appts at the same time, then when I shouted asking for help, someone else worse came! He kept calling me some wrong name even if I corrected him few times. I test drove another car then we were discussing the price & he firmly said "I'm not giving you any discount" and started packing his papers as if he is done talking. Have you heard of something that rude at a dealership? By the time I left it was when they close at 5pm. The guy I originally had appointment with was still helping the other people. Imagine what could happen if I just waited for him since he confirmed it is few mins!!! - Two days before my appointment, I confirmed coming and asked for confirmation that the car is still available. That was more than a month ago and I still haven't heard back from the 2 ppl I emailed lol. - Once left I made one phone call with BMW of Brooklyn as they had couple of amazing offer. One phone call one car purchase. It is easy to deal with respectful people who appreciate your time and want your business. - I was told few funny reasons of selling the car I originally came to test drive: 1) My manager sold it (LOL.. guys make sure to buy from a manager or otherwise managers could sell the car). 2) we sold it to someone who came from CT (LOLOL... I came from MA baby!).. 3) there are 22 sales people in the floor and all of them want to sell cars (LOLOL... no comment). Those guys are at a new level of rudeness and badness..
Horrible experience with extremely ignorant people!!!!
Do not use BMW Rallye service department. Run away!!! They will steal your money, make inaccurate repairs and will not warranty the job. When replacing a faulty hydraulic pump motor in my Z4 my advisor recommended, at an additional cost to replace weather stripping/seals and hoses to insure the repairs will not be needed again. Only to find out that Rallye BMW repaired my car with sprayed painted duct tape. After bring my car back to report this, they wanted to charge me $1100.00 to diagnosis the problem The problem is there is duct tape in place of molding and seals around my trunk. They gave me the run around for 8 days, threatened to charge me for the loaner car, and made no repairs. Rallye BMW should not be a certified BMW shop. I will never step foot into Rallye again.
World Class Service
I have been a customer of Rallye BMW for over 20 years. The dealership has always prided itself on delivering the best service possible so that my experience as a BMW driver is always a positive one. They never fall short of that commitment. Everyone that I speak to in the service department is knowledgeable and courteous. It is a pleasure to be a customer of theirs!
Great Service by the Experience staff and value for relationship
I have been going to Rallye BMW since the day I purchased my car. The most important part that I want to mention is if you maintain your car well and always service from dealership then it will always be in good condition. These people know what they are doing. I have scheduled my appointments with various people to name few David ONeill, Sheneta Dailey and Carol Clark-Muniz. I own 2009 BMW and they have always recommended what is needed to take care of the car and diagnose the exact problem. The comfort level that they give is what is ultimately needed. I know the BMW gets expensive to deal with when the warranty is expired however I am sure if you love your car I wont advise you to go to private shop. Rallye provides warrenty on the parts and service performed so if something is not right after the service then they will again fix it and I dont know if other shops will do that. I would recommend them and will again return for service. Good job service department and keep it up. Prashant Marathe
I purchased my BMW from Rallye in 2015 and have had it serviced there as well. Each time they are polite, professional and accommodating. Service is top notch and would highly recommend.
Excellent service provided
My experience over a period of many years has been most satisfying, receiving appointments with a minimum of lead time, clear and accurate interpretation of my questions, and timely performance of the work required. From the service writers through the service manager and mechanics, I have had excellent service throughout the ownership of several cars.
X3 coolant problem
Easy to make an appointment. They try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Loaner car is a big plus and your vehicle is returned spotless. Service advisors are very personable, listen to problem symptoms and follow thru to resolution.
Great service all delivered as promised.
Every aspect of their Service Department is great from notification that your vehicle requires scheduled maintenance, making the appointment, reminders of your appointment, professional service advisors, complete repairs and cleanliness of your vehicle. Just outstanding Service.....
Len is my go to guy
I saw a beautiful Alpine X5 on the website and ran to the dealer. Hour and change later it was my new prized possession. I wanted to take it home immediately but Len wanted to have it detailed etc. He had the rims refinished, a new tire, and ipod cable. The car had a defective antenna which required me to bring it back the next day but they fixed it, gave me a loaner and now everything works as should. Nothing in life is perfect but this was as good as I could of expected. Highly recommended.
Len made it painless and fun
After test driving and checking other BMW 335i convertibles we arrived at Rallye with mild expectations. Right away we found the whole experience different and enjoyable. Len was extremely courteous and professional giving us plenty of time to work through the buying process and finishing up with a car the family are delighted to have. Thank you Len. Wishing you the best!
Vehicle check and minor service as required were performed in a timely manner. Loaner was provided. Required 4 wheel alignment and that was completed, Vehicle was returned to me washed and dried and completely cleaned, Very pleased with overall experience including interaction with the service adviser.
Always Great Service
I might not be happy with getting a bill but it is what it is and I know I always have great professional service done without any worries. Thank you Rallye BMW for hiring dedicated Professional Service Employees. Give them all a raise.
Worst experience....Part Deux
This is the second review I am forced to write because of absolutely horrible service. After having a horrible first experience with my car delivery, the lack of service continues. This dealership sold me a car without the manuals..When I called them to get them, the told me that for some reason they could not find them and they needed to be ordered. That was 2 months go. Since then, I have requested them 4 additional times with not even a call back. On top of that, my title got here, shocker, it's incorrect. I have not gotten a phone call back about that either despite another 3 emails. Awful, awful attention to detail and follow up.
What a pleasure
Simply first class from the moment you drop off the vehicle to the moment you retrieve it. Well organized, professional, and always trying to please the customer. It makes me feel good to do business with them.
3rd is a charm
Just purchased my M3 from Rallye, I'll make it short and sweet! Bill Wagner and crew are phenomenal! It is my 3rd bmw purchase from them and they all where charms!
Do Not Let These People Touch Your BMW
I have revised my review of Rallye BMW. When we purchased our 2011 BMW 335I xdrive coupe it had a seat belt issue. The first time in service we were told that the motorized arm was replaced. This did not correct the problem. THe car went back and we were told that the belt was twisted inside the b post and was repaired under warranty. Just returned the car again, for the same issue and told that the belt was again twisted inside the b post and were charged for the repair and told that it is not covered, even though it was a reoccurrence. Shame on Rallye for not standing behind the original repair. In addition, when our car was in service, the windshield was damaged by Rallye personnel when it received one of their "free" car washes. Matt, the service manager refused to replace it and we were told that it would cost us $1800 to replace. Shame on Rallye, because a BMW windshield only costs $600 to replace by any reputable auto glass company using a BMW windshield. When we originally posted this review, we were threatened by Matt that our vehicle would no longer be serviced unless we deleted the negative review on Yelp and Dealerrater. We removed it but they still charged us over $400 for a windshield replacement for a windshield which they damaged. When we came to pick up the car the service writer told us that we must sign a release stating that would would never give a bad review to Rallye BMW or he would not release the car. SInce we had already paid them for the replacement we explained that we would not sign any release which would take away our right to free speech and that we would summon the Nassau County Police as they were refusing to return our car for which we had already paid for the repair. With this, the writer called the service manager and released the car. Is this the treatment you want from a BMW dealer?
New BMW 328xi
For anyone searching for a car this can be a very stressful and tedious process. After going to almost every BMW dealer on Long Island and not being happy with what was being offered to me, I decided to visit Rallye before I gave up on buying a new vehicle. Going into Rallye the atmosphere very professional and as soon as I stepped in I had a feeling this was going to be it for me. I met with Peter D. and spoke to him about the stresses and nightmares I was going through looking for a car. Not pressuring me to sell me something off the lot like the other dealers, he had actually asked me what I wanted and offered to build my car that has everything I envisioned in my first BMW. With that being said we ordered a 2014 328xi and went from there. Since this is my first lease Peter made sure that he answered all my questions and even stayed in contact with me when the car was in production to keep me in the loop. As time got closer for me to receive my car he worked around the clock to make sure everything was okay and give the best service. Finally, I have received my car and I cannot thank Peter D. and the staff who helped me at Rallye BMW make this process go smoothly. I love my new car and the professionalism cannot be topped anywhere else. To anyone who is looking for top notch and quality customer service don't hesitate to visit Rallye BMW.
Was cheated by Carol M.
I used to have a friend, Henry L. who worked for Rallye forever. I have bought 4 BMWs from him in the past 6 years. Right after he left I went to buy another car and was immediately put off by the sneaky sales tactics. so I drove all the way out to BMW of Bayshore to find Henry who sold me the same car for $10k less! I still had to bring my car to Rallye to get serviced as they are much close to where I live. Big mistake! Carol M., was my service advisor. the whole time she spent with me she spent trying to upsell me on services I did not need. This was weird as Rallye was not like this in the past. I turned down everything. She rapid fired another bunch of services she was going to have done on the car. she said nothing about cost so I thought it was regular FREE maintenance. Guess what? when I went to pick up they car they hit me with a $330 bill. I refused to pay. they released the car only after I gave them a copy of my license and card. they promised they would not run card AND I wrote on the credit card authorization form " I DO NOT AUTHORIZE ANY CHARGE'. Next day the service manager calls me and feed me a bunch of insincere apologies and how because I am the customer I am right even when I am wrong. After 15 minutes he agrees to waive the charges. I find out later that day Rallye tried to run my credit card and it was declined. LOL! he was only calling to try and collect money! By the way, Carol emails me and tells me she clearly explained to me the charges. and said I agreed to it. I am stupid enough to agree to pay $300 to have a bottle of fuel additive to be added to my gas tank? you must be kidding me! CAROL M.. Watch out everyone. she is a sneaky one!....these people, they are all very polite and courteous but all dirty....don't believe me....next time you go and get your car serviced and not pay attention to the contracts you sign or leave a less than 5 star rating on their reviews. see what happens!
