First and foremost Charles Murray is an absolute Pleasure to deal with! He is very knowledge about his products and uses a much more friendly approach to sell cars! Not that High pressure nonsense that you get from other dealerships. Nardy Honda also allowed me to use my own financing which they were also able to secure for at the same rate. They were able to deliver the car the next day! Everyone at Nardy Honda was a True Pleasure to deal with! I would Absolutely Recommend to everyone! JB

Loyal Customer Treatment

I bought a used Honda from Mark about 8 years ago. And now I am trying to trade it in for another used Honda. I was disappointed when Nardy undervalued the trade in (less than KBB, other dealers quoted) They sold me me Honda promising it had a clean Car Fax but now I'm wondering if this was not true. The certified Honda I am looking at has a broken exterior light, punctured bumper, scratches, and a foul odor inside. I am hoping Mark and Nardy keep their promise to make these repairs and come to a fair resolution on the price. I will keep everyone posted on how it turns out...

Worst Service Dealer!

Wish I could give them 0 star. I showed up Nardy Honda Smithtown with my Honda Pilot in middle of Oct 2017 and wanted to replace my left side arm rest, and the service representative told me he will order the parts and call me once it arrives. I hadn't heard anything for 3 weeks and called the service department, I was told no parts was ever ordered, I have to give the VIN number over the phone on Thursday Nov 9th and got a call stating the part arrived on Friday Nov 10th and I can show up for service, once I showed up on Monday Nov 13th, I was told I didn't have an appointment, therefore the service can't be done, same representative took me to the receptionist to make an appointment for the coming Saturday without an apology. I showed up at 9am on Saturday Nov 18th, checked in with another representative next to the original one, this person told me the parts got sent back and they don't have it anymore, I questioned him what kind crap service you are offering me, I was told I should not show the attitude to him. That's my experience with Nardy Honda Smithtown! If you want to find out how bad their service is, go see their representatives' faces!

Excessive excessive wait time for appointments

7/5/2017 I get up early and Head to Nardy Honda to have my 2013 Pilot looked at. I had a similar issue with excessive road noise and vibration through steering which they took care of about 10 months ago. Speak to service advisor who asks if I have a appointment, I respond no but I never needed a appointment in the past. He then explains that as as January you now need a appointment to have a car looked at. Ok I am fine with that just was not aware of new policy. So he says we can take it in now but it will be a while. So my response is well can I make appointment for tomorrow and come back. He then gets on phone with dispatcher who says while on speaker phone. He can leave the car today we will get to it July 18. On my way! On is this a joke I can leave my car for 13 days? This is crazy. I will be hard pressed to return to Nardy. This is actually sad for me to report as I have been having service done their for nearly 15 years on three different Hondas I have owned. The experiences in the past were generally positive.

Buying my first car from a dealership I didn't know what to expect. I've heard horror stories of the salesmen being extremely pushy and basically harassing you. When I went to look at cars at Nardy Honda, Henry immediately came up to me and figured out exactly what I was looking for. I went to him 5 separate times in 3 days and he still had a smile on everytime and answered every tiny question I possibly had. He was funny, and made me feel very comfortable with buying a car when I thought this experience was going to be terrifying. I 100% recommend Henry

Went into NARDY honda on July 4th to test drive the new Civic! I previously owned a civic but traded it in because it was a little too small for me. After seeing the new car at the auto show in April I wanted to see how it drove. Henry was the salesperson that helped me. In the beginning it was fine. When went out for a drive and. I told him I currently have a lease which I am in a little Over a year, not really looking to do anything yet. He says well here is an obvious question why are you test driving cars now... When we got back to the dealership he put the car away and never cMe to find me to ask how I liked the vehicle. My fiancée and I started to leave and he says so how'd you like it, I told him how. I felt and then he says "well just so you know we make commission here in car sales so because you have a day off and decide to just test drive cars you potentially took me away from other sales! Maybe wait next time Before you stop on in" that is not how you treat a potential customer. That alone is the reason I will never go back to NARDY Honda in Smithtown.

Hi went to nardy honda on 12/1..my credit wasnt bad i just didnt have any credit seeing how i buy thins cash...My salesman John Livigni made it happen i drove off with my new car 3 days later ...not ony was he a very nice man , when i picked the car up he spent an hour going over the car with me ...WOW he was about the service not his commision ..I highly SUGGEST you ask for this man when visiting them and by the way they had the best deals so it was a no brainer ..VERY IMPRESSIVE ...

Empathic Salesmanship

Following visits to dealerships in which a few were abusive, I settled on Nardy Honda of Smithtown. Why? Because the dealership treated customers as human beings. I was fortunate to have salesman John L. If he's available consult with him. Through his genuine use of empathy, which I see as an important element of public character, he seeks understand your needs, situation and/or dilemmas. While salesmen within other dealerships began with high quotes, John's initial quote was what the others eventually settled on. He didn't seem to play games. It doesn't appear to be his style. He explained the process in detail so that you understood it and he reviewed each important detail about the vehicle. When I arrived home and thought that I missed something John called back immediately and explained how he had taken care during the process. Throughout this first-time leasing experience it seemed that the dealership was very supportive.

Outstanding Online Experience!

Charles P of Nardy Honda was the first -- and ONLY -- dealer to respond to my Edmunds quote request with not only an actual out-the-door number, but also a detailed breakdown of the fees that would be involved. I had planned to ask for this out-the-door number and it was as if Charles had read my mind. Charles was willing and able to work with me via email to hash out the details of a purchase. In all of our email conversations, I never felt he was weaving and dodging or playing any bargaining head games. He answered all of my questions within one or two emails completely, in detail, and in an outright straightforward manner -- and to my satisfaction. He was even willing to accommodate my nitpicking over not wanting the sticker that Nardy Honda usually affixes to the rear of the car. This is the first time I ever attempted to negotiate the price of a car via the Internet. I was, for all practical purposes, a first-time car buyer and I did a lot of reading and research (there were many many Edmunds.com articles that were extremely helpful to me) before ever requesting a quote. Once the quote process began, Charles made it easy and stress-free. Even without my asking, he made me more comfortable by explaining how the purchase and paperwork process would work, step-by-step. Within a couple of days of communicating with Charles over email, I already had a good enough feeling about him and Nardy Honda that I could see myself buying the car from him EVEN if his competitors came in with a lower price -- that's how comfortable I felt. However in the end, there was one other dealer that ran neck and neck with Nardy in both comfort level and pricing. It was so close, that the decision as to which one would get my business came down to the proverbial random coin toss. It is the ONLY reason I did not buy the car from Nardy Honda. I truly wish I could have bought two cars, one from each dealer.

Finally I found a car dealer that: send a quote to me by email, had sales agreements waiting for me when I arrived, as stated in the email quote and had the best deal of Honda dealers that I contacted. This is the first review I have written for any service or product and I cannot overstate my surprise at finally finding a car dealer that was 100% up front on all issues and did not waste a moment of my time. And by the way I am 100% satisfied with my new Accord.

2013 Honda Accord Sport

Made two visits to Nardi Honda. The first was the feeling out process - We met with the salesman as soon as we arrived and told him that we were in the research phase. We took a test drive and said we'd contact them if we were still interested. About 3 days later, a follow up phone call was left on our answering machine asking us whether we have made a decision. We did not return that call. One week later the salesman left another message and we told him that we were still interested and that we'd like to come in again. I spent a good five minutes on the phone asking more questions and the salesman was accommodating. We scheduled an appointment for another test drive for the next weekend. About an hour before the appointment the salesman called to let us know that he was running a little late with a prior customer and asked if we could push our appointment back a half hour. I thought that was considerate rather than making us wait. We arrived at the dealer and our salesman was still busy with the prior customer but a different salesman helped get us set up with our test drive and actually went with us on a lengthy drive. When we returned we met with our original salesperson and within 30 minutes we were able to work out a deal for a new car. We did the paper work and were done within an hour of the negotiating process. Negotiations went smoothly. He gave us a starting price we gave him our proposal and in the end we got very close (within a couple hundred dollars) of what we thought was an acceptable purchase price.
