Recently bought my 12th car a E-300 from this dealer. We had to settle for a color we didn't want because our salesperson told us we would not have it by Thanksgiving, a full 10 weeks away from the ordering date.. Not only did we not have our car by Thanksgiving, it was almost three full weeks late, causing us to rent a car to wait for ours. Management was rather unsympathetic about it and would not give reasons for the delay. To make matters worse, they just dropped the car off at our Florida location without even telling us it was there or allowing us to inspect it for travel damage. I think they need to get their "act" together. Too many errors for a Company store. Because of this experience combined with others over the years has made me a future non-customer from them.

The service department is very customer orientated, if you need to wait for something minor, their waiting area is clean and friendly. They even have a pick up and droop off service that really saves time if you don't need you car for a day or so.

I just leased my car from Mercedes Manhattan and I’m extremely happy with the transaction. I’m very grateful that I met John Hart as my salesman and I’m impressed with the ease of getting into my new favorite car! I have been a BMW enthusiast for a long time and made it clear to him that I was only there to look at their new models before I signed on my next one. "Not a typical "car dealer" experience"

MB was the first stop during a day of looking at autos. I walked into the MB showroom and was introduced to Justin Cornelison. From the beginning of the interaction, he listened to my auto needs and made suggestions (that either increased or decreased the price of the car) based on his opinion of "need". No pressure to agree with his opinion, but very knowledgeable about the usability and utility to me of the options that were available. When sitting down to discuss price, the process was simple and was presented in a way that was easy to comprehend. After visiting the typical MB competitors that day, the initial price offered by Justin for the vehicle was much better than the competition (all of which came down to the MB offer after discussing the presented offer for some time...initial offers at the competitors were ~50% higher than MB). Justin is easy to work with and even after the sale has been extremely responsive to any follow-up questions. The remainder of the team, especially Greg Gazzola, the gentleman responsible for orienting me with all of the cars options, was extremely thorough in the initial discussion, and has also been very responsive with follow-up questions. These guys are fantastic and I would recommend working with them to purchase a MB.

Stay Away from Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan, and 2015 GL450!

Strongly advise NOT to shop at Mercedes-Benz Manhattan. Brand new GL450 broke down very first time driving it. They sold me a real lemon. Then I was lied to over and over again about the status of its repair. The original 8 day time frame they provided came and went. Then I was told it was fixed, but couldn't pick up yet since they needed a Mercedes employee to test drive the car by taking it home with them at night (huh?!). Then I was told it would be ready for pick-up the next day. Over the following day I was told by several different people the car was actually not fixed, and they couldn't provide me a new status update yet, but I should keep trying back. After that, each time I called it was like everyone had the same script: the person that has an update (different person every call) is with another customer so will have to call me back. Over and over again - no call backs & no updates. So then I went back to my salesman for help. After three days of sending him emails without any reply, I finally escalated to his sales manager... who informed me the salesman has left to go work for another dealership. So the salesman that just sold us a new car that broke down on its first drive no longer works for the dealership?! At that point, I requested a refund, only to be told that because of the couple of weeks that elapsed (while the car was in their garage supposedly being fixed), a refund is no longer possible! Current status: no car, no refund, and no idea what happens next? STAY AWAY FROM MERCEDES-BENZ of MANHATTAN!

They want me to pay for their mistakes-make up

I had a bad experience here, but they made up for it fairly. Made a big difference, I would go from avoiding them to certainly giving them another chance. Rating it a "3" because it's the average of the "1" I would get for my initial experience and "5" I would give the effort to make up for it.

Terrible Service Department

Service Rep does not follow to let us know there were no parts (tires) for 1/2 day! And only tell us in the afternoon that there were no tires and would have to service next day! Provided car first thing in the morning! Terrible service. Who would have known this coming from Mercedes-Benz? Never again...

I was lucky enough to be placed in the hands of a true Gentleman,Daniel Johnson,who went through many hoops to make me feel cared for a comfortable with this deal.I brought them a 2010 E and they took it,,cleared anything I owed on it and got me a low finance rate,,saving me money on a newer car with more options. Brilliant. From start to finish,the impressive dealership facility,the kind and helpful staff and the entire experience was topnotch. These folks have a customer for life,,,this is my 3rd MB.

I have used this dealer for service for several years. On several occasions, they fixed what was broken, but returned the car with a different unrelated problem. If this happened only once, I would say it was an unfortunate coincidence. But I recently had this experience 3 times in a row, with repairs costing several thousand dollars. One of the incidents involved the installation of a fuel filter, which turned out to be faulty so the car would not start properly. The car was delivered to my garage, so it is inconceivable that the repairman did not know that the car didn't work properly. It was only after I complained several times to the dealership manager and threatened to dispute the charges on my credit cards and report the dealership to the Department of Consumer Affairs that the car was repaired properly. I expect better and more honest service from a dealer with Mercedes' reputation.
