A Buick Experience

My family and I visited The Grand Prize GMC/ Buick dealer in Nanuet last month and I must say it was the finest experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I had been to a few other dealers that same week and was getting frustrated with the service I was being provided, but Marc Rothenberg and his team saw us as a family and not just another customer. They were patient with our indecisiveness and after multiple test drives we decided on a Buick. My family has never been happier and I can honestly say that I have found my car dealership for life and it's Grand Price GMC/Buick in Nanuet.

Great service advisor--Jim Kobernick

I just want to commend Grand Prize Chevy, especially service advisor, Jim Kobernick; he is consistently helpful, patient and kind. I live in Brooklyn NYC and I drive the very long distance to Nanuet because I know my car is in good hands with Jim Kobernick and Grand Prize Chevy. I always have a lot of questions and Jim goes through all of them with me patiently and kindly and puts my questions about my car at ease. I very much appreciate Grand Prize Chevy and Jim Kobernick.

Excellent Customer Service and Repairs

Excellent. Don Schlosser your service manager was very professional and kept us updated every step of the way. We had a bad vibration with our 2014 Chevy Express Van and a previous dealership (Healy) could not repair after 2 visits and an improper diagnosis. They also had horrible customer service. Grand Prize has Great Customer Service and was able to Diagnos and Repair the issue first time. Very Happy with Grand Prize. Thank You !

The salesperson met our parameters and we were able to make a deal on the purchase of a used car. I've had to bring my car in for service less than 30 days after taking possession for a check engine light. The service tech Laura was very helpful and explained the procedures and set communication expectations. I was given a ride back home by a very polite young man. Overall a fantastic experience.

Great Experience at Grand Prize of Nanuet

From start to finish, my experience with this dealership was only positive. My sales consultant, Chris Guignard, was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Anything you could possible ask for in a sales partner - Chris was it. Although I never interacted with them directly throughout the sales process, members of the sales management team came out, introduced themsleves and shook my hand when they saw me. It made for a very friendly and warm environment.

Refusal to repair car.

I had a GM vehicle that broke down when my son was driving it. He towed it to the dealership he works at. My son is a "Master Guild Technician" Which is the highest rating a technician can obtain. My son pulled the valve cover off, (6 bolts) and discovered a broken timing chain. I called G.M. about this problem and I was told they would help with repairs, even though the car was off warranty, however, the car repairs must be done at a G.M. dealership. The car was towed to Grand Prize. I was told by the service writer, there would be a $250.00 diagnosis fee. All they had to do is OPEN the hood. The problem was RIGHT THERE, in front of them. When the service manager found out my son took the valve cover off, he refused to work on it at all. The service manager also said that GM would NOT help with the repairs, when GM clearly told me they would. I will NEVER, EVER take a car there for service, or repair. I would suggest everyone NOT go to Grand Prize Chevrolet in Nanuet for their service or repairs.
