Not interested in the customer
The sales person did not know much about the vehicle, and didn't even realize it had a third row (the 7 passenger Santa Fe). It was marginally clean upon delivery. Had issues from the get-go, and the sales person never, ever, responded to an inquiry concerning how to proceed. Order some touch up paint from the parts department and after three follow ups b y me, I gave up trying. They didn't even make an effort to get the paint, which I ended up getting elsewhere. Overall, I am not particularly happy with the vehicle and continue to have issues, but won't bother going back to the dealership. My warning to everyone is to stay away from Burdick Hyundai and go elsewhere.
So I've waited about a year to write this review because I was to upset at the time. Got a car, was delivered to me (how sweet) with a ten inch crack in the wind shield. It did not even cleaned or like it had been washed. Then my back door handle fell off. I drove it out there to have it serviced and it was then "fixed"... The door was still broken. They take no pride in what they do. I was told by the manager himself he doesn't go and inspect every car before it leaves. Comical. Waiting to have my car serviced and the store manager, wouldn't even look at me. He was too busy selling a genesis to some old men. Every time I called to talk to a manager I got a different person, finally spoke to The manager and told him he was giving me the run around and he claimed "that isn't a fair thing to say, we have done everything you've asked for" first off what gives you the right to tell me what is and isn't fair to say?! Secondly you I was delivered a crap car that not only wasn't washed but was defective. Thirdly, IT ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. No one has the time, gas or energy to deal with this dealership Most of the reviews are probably false. Hey whatever it takes to make a sale, right?!
Not the best experience
Salesman was pleasant enough, but was not thoroughly schooled on the product. He was anxious to make a sale but didn't really offer as much information as I expected. After almost three months I'm still discovering things he should have shared with me. - The manual is practically useless when it comes to getting answers.
The sales staff are all very nice. They helped me get into my new car at the agreed upon price even though I was in car accident on my way there, with the car I was trading in! Very nice people to work with. Have not had any experience with the service department.
A great experience with Burdick Hyundai
Burdick Hyundai at Drivers village was excellent! Positive reviews are rare, but when you get a good experience buying a car, it needs to be acknowledged. I drove from Rochester to Syracuse to purchase my 2009 Elantra at the the best price in three cities (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse). Not one number changed when I got there and the price I was quoted by email out the door was exactly what I paid. Tim Premo was great and responded accordingly to all my questions (used the internet department). I want to mention again that they did not mess with any numbers. He gave me the total OTD cost and did not leave anything out to pad in later. They also did not try to sell me anything I did not want or push anything on me. A smooth transaction and shockingly great experience.
A good experience at Burdick's.
I recently bought a 2007 Azera at Burdick's and was treated well. Nothing out of the ordinary or especially great, but the transaction went smoothly with no problems on the insurance, plates, etc. The salesman was a young fellow and was polite, if a little bit uninformed on features and the like. I have bought three other vehicles from Burdick's (two Dodge trucks and an Audi) so I will reserve comment on the service until I can speak of the Hyundai service department specifically.
