Bait and Switch

Looking for a specific make, model and color. Internet sales manager Maya confirmed repeatedly that they had the exact car in stock. Made an appointment. Came to dealership - they didn't have the car and never had it to start with. Just trying to bait me to store to try to sell something else. Really shifting crew. Beware.

Worst VW Autoshop

This is by far the absolute WORST dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. I was the owner of a 2000 VW Jetta with less than 80,000 miles on it. It was in drivable condition until we discovered that there was a dent in the oil pan. I called a towing company to tow it to this location and figured it was safe since this is a "certified" VW Dealership. Once the service was completed I picked up my car a few days later, this was after they told me the car could be traded in for $1000. I told them I would hold off for now since they confirmed twice that it was in drivable condition and they tested it before giving me the keys to drive it. I paid for my service and less than 12 hours later the car completely broke down on the highway and almost took my husband's life. I got the car towed to another location where now the engine and alternator are completely not functional. An auto shop who functions like this with a lack of business ethics and integrity for one's work should NOT but in business.

Great Deal

Out of the blue i recieved a phonecall from a gentleman by the name of Shawn Zilper telling me that i can turn in my car several months early and that he can take care of the remaining payments i had left on my lease. To be honest i wasnt even thinking about getting out of my lease since i had quite a bit of time left until it was over. However he set up an appointment with me and showed me all the new features the new tiguan had compared to the model i had. He even insisted that i test drive it even though i had the same car, because he said the drive on the new one feels better as well. He was right the car not only drove differently but had way more new features that were extremely useful like a backup camera and push to start. That day we agreed on a price and he was extremely reasonable and patient and not pushy at all as some salesmen tend to be. I left a deposit and we scheduled a day for me to come pick up my new car and drop off my old one. When i came in to pick it up he already had the car cleaned with a full tank of gas, and the process literally took not more than 45 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered every single question i had about the car. I left extremely happy and love my new Tiguan! If it wasnt for him calling me i wouldve never even thought about coming in and would have probably dealt with a leasing company again! Thank you Shawn for being so professional and thank you Bay Ridge VW for getting me such a great deal!!
