Will steal your money especially if you are financing

Charged me more for my car than it was advertised I have a screen shot of the price of the car on the day after I bought. They still had my car on their website months after and lowered price even more have pictures and dates for proof. Probably to use their bait and switch tactics. BEWARE. I cancelled my 3500 dollar warranty with them within terms to get a refund and they are not giving me my money back claims I did not cancel within time frame when I did I have numerous emails from warranty company that says it was and they still claim my warranty is still going how does that even happen when I have in writing. Had me leave car place with empty folder thinking I had all my car paperwork. Confronted them about the car being advertised lower price they got rude gave me a hard time to even send my paperwork and plates took them two weeks to send me my paperwork even longer for my plates. Numerous things went wrong with this sale. I do not know how what they do is even legal and there are so many complaints on here and nobody does anything. I wrote to bbb they even lie on the bbb. I am trying to write on every website to warn people about this place because I don't want other people's money to be stolen like mine was. There is no talking to these people they will just lie and lie.

at first i was skeptical when my car started having a lot of problems. But then after I contacted them and gave them to claim for how much it was all going to cost, they gave me a discount and then I was able to get everything on my car fixed. Recently my windshield just cracked after being stressed from the temperature and air conditioning, but then I called them again and they gave me another estimate and now they are going to have my car fixed.

I went in today (6/4/2016) to test drive a car I had contacted them about earlier ( a Basque Red Pearl 2012 Acura TL) I called them an hour before I got there to let them know what time I would be getting there and they said it was okay. On getting there, they informed me that the car we talked about was already sold a few hours ago. They should have told me that on the phone when I called earlier. The salesman that attended to me was VERY rude. He then proceeded to show me another Acura TL. The car did not start initially and they claimed it was a "minor" battery problem that would be fixed.I started to drive and noticed the seatbelt would not buckle, again they said it was minor. The glove compartment was also broken and they said they would fix it. After driving the car, I asked to see the carfax to make sure the vehicle was accident free (my preference) and the rude salesman said I should trust him and believe that the records are clean with no accident. He said due to the $40 cost of printing the car fax, he would only show me after I made a down payment. That sounded so ridiculous because I would not buy a car without knowing the history. I demanded to speak with the manager who then said he would show the records to me online but drastically changed his story 5 minutes later to "Clean car fax, no accidents. Trust me". This sounded so sketchy and I took the VIN number and ran it myself. To my surprise, the same vehicle they assured me had no accidents was involved in not one BUT THREE ACCIDENTS. I now see why they wanted a down payment; to dupe me. Please do a thorough investigation before giving these [non-permissible content removed] your hard earned money. Customer service was so bad. This has been my worst experience so far. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if possible.

Yesterday my brother and I went to Dips to buy a car for him. It was a 2003 Honda civic that they had advertised on cars.com. We live about an hour and a half away so we made sure there were no major problems with the car before we went down. When we got there, we spoke to Mike. He assured us that the car was in perfect condition. When we saw the car, it had a bunch of body flaws but of course in the pictures they hid them. My brother is a 19 year old college student who just wanted a decent car for commuting. After agreeing on a price we started the paper work later to find out that Mike lied straight to my face when he told me the car was a clean title. It was a rebuilt title in fact. Mike tried saying that is was a “clean Rebuilt” title, (there is no such thing) anyways when my brother asked for his money back, they said they can’t because he signed a form saying that there will be no refunds. He signed that form before we found out that it was an R-title. I went up to the manager and he said that they weren’t going to return my little brothers money. I told the sales manager ( he was the short Spanish guy I didn’t catch his name) that he got tricked by mike into thinking the car was a clean title, the sales manager told me that this is business and they’ll do whatever they can do for money. After arguing back and forth with the sales manager, he admitted to me that if he was in my place he’d be doing the same thing and that they really don’t care about how satisfied the costumer is as long as the make money. After hearing that, I was infuriated. My brother got robbed for all the money he had and bought an R-title car. This is the most unprofessional most run down dirty place I’ve ever stepped foot in. please DO NOT go there. They will do whatever they can to make money and won’t care about you. They will lie straight to your face they will try to scam you. They are all [non-permissible content removed]. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of those lying [non-permissible content removed] at Dips Luxury Motors, you will absolutely regret your time there.

LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS… DO NOT BUY A CAR IN THIS PLACE!!!!! Let me tell you my story. I bought a car apparently in good mechanic condition, I had to do some paper work before driving the car off of the dealer, so I left the car at the dealer for a couple of days. When I was finally able to finish the documentation, I went to pick up the car. Not even 10 miles down the road, the car starts making a loud and scary sound (like it was going to explode)… a lot of smoke started to come out from under the hood. The “check engine soon” light came on the dashboard. The car was overheating!!!!..... Immediately, I went back to the dealer and told them that I want my money back. I ask them: “how is it possible that you sell cars in these conditions, don’t you guys at least check the cars before selling them to customers?” They literally laughed at my face and told me literally: These cars are sold in ‘AS-IS’ condition. They told me that they will not return my money; neither will they assume the repair costs of anything. The place is full with incompetent employees with nasty attitudes. There was this "lady" who works at the dealer (she handles all the paper work). She is very nice while she’s taking your money, and [non-permissible content removed] after you come back to her complaining and trying to fix the problem (like it is my fault that they sell lemons). The whole time, the sales manager and owner acted [non-permissible content removed]; making jokes about the situation, laughing at every suggestion I gave them about finding a middle ground and trying to fix the problem. After days (if not weeks) of arguing with them, I finally gave up. All I obtained from them was the lame excuse that “the car was bought used, and as a used car it is obvious that it may have something wrong”. Come on!! I didn’t even drive it for a day!!! They never assumed the cost of anything, and the way they treat and make fun of clients, in their faces! , is what irks the most. Also they are very shady. I signed a bunch of papers, and they never gave me a copy. They only gave me the receipt and the title. I had to tell them that I will get a lawyer and sue them, in order to obtain a copy of the papers I signed. Do yourselves a favor, and take your business elsewhere. By the way, their personnel reeked of marihuana.

After my experience I can confidently say that Dips Luxury Motors, is anything but luxury. On Tuesday 1/26/2016 my boyfriend and I traveled South to Elizabeth, NJ en route to Dips Luxury Motors in search of a cheap, luxury vehicle for a new driver. After reading the Yelp reviews my boyfriend, bless his naïve soul, attempted to remain optimistic that the negative ones would prove untrue. We had spoken over email, rather frequently, with a woman named Debbie in regards to a C Class Mercedes that she PROMISED was on the lot. Immediately after pulling onto the property we were motioned to back off the premises and park in the Burger King across the street, as the employees were cleaning the lot after Winter Storm Jonas. It would help to mention that the storm was not the only reason this "dealership" looked like a massive disaster. After ruining a new pair of shoes in an ankle high slush puddle that consumes the ONLY walking entrance, I noticed the building itself. It was dirty, with the signs falling off, but it wasn't worse than the cold and unwelcoming industrial interior. The people: even more unwelcoming. Now, wet and cold, we searched for an entrance to the showroom. After walking in we were not-so-cheerily "greeted" by a man I would learn was named Pedro, but not because he introduced himself. I only came to know his name as that is how one of his fellow employees address him. He did not ask our names, and he did not tell us his. The gentlemen in here were all dressed in street clothes, some even wearing fitted caps. No one even smiled or acknowledged our existence. He informed us that he did not have the car Debbie promised was in inventory and that Debbie wasn't working today. Him and another gentleman who was actually wearing a tie, proceeded to speak about how they were going to "crack" us on price in Spanish, not realizing that we are fluent in the language. I let it go, I wanted to see what unfolded. We tell Predro what our budget was and asked him if he has any vehicles on the lot matching our description. He said there was one. ONE. He grabbed a key and told us to follow. He speed-walked and weaved his way in and out of cars in this narrow, snow-coated alleyway towards the back. After almost falling multiple times, and being forced to turn sideways to squeeze by body between thin spaces of wall and car we finally reached the unplowed back lot. The car he showed us was not to our liking as it was all scratched up. I then posed the question again. "do you have any cars within x budget with x options" After having only 1 car the first time I asked this question he now had 3, WOW! After walking us back and forth through the icy lot, slipping multiple times, you would think Pedro would see the inconvenience on our faces. He was using the old school car selling tactic of trying to 'tire us out', little did he know we were serious buyers if he wasn't such an unprofessional [non-permissible content removed]. Instead of playing the game with Pedro, and having to constantly repeat myself, my budget, and my specifics, I pulled the website up on my phone and proceeded to ask him about multiple cars I would be interested in. He didn't have one. The website is a ruse, to get customers on the lot. The least they could do at that point is act with a little bit of professionalism- or at least a smile - after getting people through the door. I've never seen a more miserable looking crowd of people in my entire life and it really brought down any excitement we had. After trying our best to put aside Pedro's attitude, indifference, and lack of knowledge of anything car related, we decide to leave feeling a little defeated. I generally don't leave bad reviews, as I do understand that people can have bad days, but the people at this "dealership", just genuinely don't care. Please, do not come here and waste your time!

Classic bait and switch

I saw a car on line. I called today to make sure it was available. After being told it was, I drove 2.5 hours from Connecticut. when I told the man at the desk I was there for the advertised 18,500 Mercedes he first started telling me that that was a whole sale price. When I showed him the add on the web site he told me it had just been sold.. Please don't support these dishonest [non-permissible content removed].

I saw a few cars they put on adv. at Edmund.com. And then, I sent my inquiry through an email, and they never reply my inquiry. I do not know whether they have the cars.

Poor business ethics, unprofessional, & disrespectful!

Please note those guys had changed their business name from (Park Place of NJ) after they had tons of negative reviews and horrifying feedbacks and scored (F) on BBB and ran out of business so they decided to trick people by changing the business name; place their current name on google map and you will see the proof! I called/emailed this dealer over 6 times simply to enquire about the car I'm interested in and to potentially arrange professional inspection and place an offer accordingly as I'm a cash and serious customer. Firstly, their automated "Internet chat representative" has no clue what's really available and what's sold; of note most of the complaints against them from tons of people over the years is that they fake the actual presence of vehicle by placing/leaving it on their inventory and when people call claim it's there when it's not and make them come long distance just to try selling them another vehicle which very deceiving and pathetic for desperate business! They never replied back, not impressed! So I called them and after being handed from one person to another I get to this salesperson who claims "Our owner does not allow us to send Carfax to people!"; this is their usual excuse once again from tons of negative review over different websites! This is obviously bogus claiming "it's against copyright policy" simply because Carfax themselves has a link over tons of other dealers' ads as (Show me Carfax) and I personally had most dealers send me carfax report with no question asked; evidently those are professional mature dealers unlike those! Regardless, I just asked for some info about the car like the presence of any issues physically, electrically, or mechanically, and they still denied to answer! To test the theory of their lack of business ethics, and to express my serious intentions, I placed a reasonable offer on the vehicle provided my inspection which I will arrange and pay for will come with no issues, they still continued to deny to reply! I find this, just like all other reviewers have previously documented, very unprofessional and disrespectful! Those people should really go back to learn the basics of business ethics code and understand that they don't need to change their business name to try desperately to gain peoples' trust. All what they need is pay some respect, attention, and communication with no attitude or rudeness as if they are doing us a favor because truth is we are doing them a favor for providing them with business! That's they key, and not faking the existence of vehicles that had been already sold! Really sad and pathetic!

I don't generally write reviews but had to warn potential online shoppers ... i have emailed this dealer with no response then i contacted them about few of the cars i saw online they told me they are in stock just before i head to them.. i drove for an hour to there so called dealership and guess what non of the cars are on the lot... well if you can even call it a lot in the first place it bearly holds 30 cars max even though on there website they have over 190 cars available. ..the only salesman there said the website wasn't updated... by the way on another websitethe two cars i went to see are listed for over 100 days and still listed till this moment .. many negative reviews warned of there false *bait* advertising but i figured to give them the benefit of the doubt. .. do yourself a favor and don't go there unless you live close by and don't mind the distance.

Unfortunately I read reviews about how bad the dealership is, what [non-permissible content removed] they are, only after i got burned. I called Jennifer to inquire about a car that they had on their website. She asked for the stock # which I gave to her and told me the car was still on the lot. 45 minutes later I arrived and asked for Jennifer. She was mysteriously "at lunch" and wase were told the car was sold. We blasted them that we called 45 mins prior. We were told the internet guy was on vacation and hadnt updated the site (which we read many times in a LOT of negative reviews.Their internet guys has been on vacation for a few years it seems). They proceeded to try to upsell us for a car that was older with more miles. My husband and I stormed out and will be rw treporting them to the BBB. do your research.

Having a horrible experience with them!! They gave me a car that didn't work within 24 hrs of getting it, then my car say in shop for a week only got me to get it back doing the same thing it was doing b4. They do not keep in contact or take responsibility. You have 2 constantly call & go up to dealership multiple times & that still did not solve my problem. Working on getting my money back!! I do not recommend them...they are [non-permissible content removed]!
