Great sales experience

by LenSmart2014 on 08/09/2017

I can't say enough about how helpful Carrie Godfrey was during my buying experience. She went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. I bought a left over Smart car, but I was treated like I was buying an S class. I did this transaction completely from the comfort of my home office. I never set foot in the dealership and never met any of their staff in person. The entire procedure was done online and via a few phone calls. I would definitely recommend Carrie to anyone and would be happy to work with her again the next time I am in the market for a new car.

Well done

by EDGinPhila on 10/23/2017

It was easy to make the appointment, easy to drop the car, easy to understand what the issues were. I have taken my Mercedes to them for service for many years and I plan to return.

poor service poor communication

by MANSUR1 on 06/11/2015

I have a 2005 SL Mercedes Benz , my vehicle was in cherry hill Mercedes Benz being serviced for the retractible top it would go down but would not go up. I was told that it was a particular switch when I went to go pick it up it seemed to work fine ,because it was a nice day so I left the top down. The next day I went out of town as I began to return home it began to rain when I tried to put the top up it would only go halfway, the next day I called and made another appointment for the same problem they told me it could be a number of things so I settled for that answer I took the car in they told me again that it was fine unfortunately the problem occurred again each time the vehicle was there it cost me money not we will get to the bottom of this or as a courtesy we will not charge you I paid each time. the last time it was there I had a list of things that I wanted them to check mainly my A.C when I went to pick it up none of the things I had sled to check were not done now my A.C blows hot air and now its 95degrees . what really had me ticked off was before I left the service manager looked at me when I asked and said well its a nice day for the top to be down. I am very displeased. Can I get some satisfaction please

New Car//In for Installation of a Missing Feature

by bashful3 on 03/05/2015

When my new S Class Mercedes was driven to my home after a day in the service department installing a massage package, no one explained how to use that package. The next day, when I wanted to run an important errand, I was shocked to find all safety features of the car shut off: no rear view camera, no navigation system. Had to wait 2 hours for Mercedes Roadside Assist. Learned that someone had probably turned the radio off by using an 'OFF' button that also switched off all other features in the car. Also learned the next day at the dealership that someone from service had also switched the headlight switch from 'Automatic' to "Manual'. If I had driven at night I could have been in serious trouble. There was no excuse for that. I need to feel that I can trust this dealership for future service. Am expecting a telephone call from the Service Manager to discuss. My husband had excellent service for 7 years with a Service Manager who is now out on sick leave. I expect no less from service performed on my new S Class Mercedes, but it has not happened yet.

Mercedes of Cherry Hill sold us a Lemon, then they robbed us

by sqz31p on 03/18/2013

"Mercedes Benz Of Cherry Hill sold us a GL320 with issues, gasket leaks, balancing/alignment issue's that took 4-5 visits to correct (they told us it was us, then the roads, then it was the tires), next issue was a knocking they could not fix after having the vehicle in for an entire month of January minus a few days. Purchased the vehicle at the end of Sept 2012 and they have had the car in their ...possesion for about 2 months out of the 5 months. The longest stretch being the entire month of January 2013 minus a few days. They gave us an offer with a gun to our heads that my wife had to take as I was out of town and she was their with a 5 month old and a 2yr old. They offered no rental car or loaner car but only to trade the car in and pay more for another vehicle. This turned in to a safety issue and my wife did not want to drive the vehicle with a known issue that could not be corrected. Ed I believe is the Sales Manager and Ron was sales consultant were the individuals we dealt with) This dealership is all about the money and could give a damn about the saftey of the vehicle. They sold us an unsafe car with issues.

service under warranty

by hlong2306 on 10/24/2012

Had a seemingly minor noise in a just- purchased used car (certified under warranty). They found a climate-control fan bearing beginning to wear and replaced the unit while I waited. No hassles. Also touched up a few tiny rock dings in the paint at my request.

used car purchase

by hlong2306 on 10/24/2012

Salesman was excellent. One car of interest was sold just after my telephone inquiry and salesman called immediately. Described another used car that had just come in that I ended up buying and I have been delighted with the car, the salesman and the dealership in handling the transaction.

Awful service

by ed86 on 01/08/2012

The first and second time I went to the dealer service department was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The first time I went to the dealer was for, what I thought, a simple issue of the shifter, it would be hard to move it from P to D. When presented this information to the technician he had no idea what could be the problem.... Not even a list of differential diagnosis... He stated that the car needed to stay and they will call later. No loaner was offered, no way to take me back to work, they did not care about my situation at all. They call me NEXT day to tell me they have to order a part and the work was going to cost around $1100. Another 2 days pass and they finally got the part and installed only to call be back (4th day in the dealer) and tell me that they needed to order another part and was going to cost another $800. The frustrating part for me was the lack of comunication or explanation of what was going on. It seem that they were doing a trial and error approach rather than knowing what they were doing. At one point when I was trying to get information from the technician ( Rick) he was so rude, he told me " do you want this or not? You can take it to your neighbor mechanic. I was so frustrated but with my hands tied so w/o knowing what was going on I accepted. 2 more days pass and they call and said that the car did not recognized the part? Like an organ donor? And that the second step was probably not necessary but they already did it and was charged. What a HORRIBLE experience, I felt humiliated and disrespected by their condescending attitude. The second experience was a quick one since I did not trusted this guys at all. When there to get a diagnosis for ABC lights on after 1.5 hours they told me is going to be $7050 for the work, again w/o explaining why or for what. After I started inquiring about the problem the technician ( Jim) started to be condescending and rude so I just smile and left. After several days looking for another car because the technician told me I could not drive my car, one of my clients gave me a card from his Mercedes technician ( he told me stay away from cherry hill Mercedes). I made an appointment with this guy and immediately he found the problem and explained clearly. It was just a leak in the ABC pump hose. He told me that the entire active body control system did not needed to be replace all it needed was to put some more oil and replace the leaking hose. He immediately put some more oil to prevent any damage to the ABC and ordered the part. This only cost me $360. What it frustrates me tremendously is that Cherry Hill dealer did not recognized the leak or what is even worse if they recogniced the leak they did not tell me nor they offer at least to put some oil to prevent any damage to the system. So frustrating, so rude and maiintentionate. I had to share this with everybody and also warn you about their lack of knowledge, condescending attitude and hands down thief. Good luck!

Unbelievably bad experience

by larrypecan on 05/12/2009

The car manufacturers should come up with a way to monitor lost sales. I made a deal with this company, wherein they accepted an offer I had made several days before. The next morning after the salesman had called to let me know the dealership had accepted my offer, I received an e-mail stating the car had been sold, but they had another of a different color I could consider. He didn't have the guts to call. I guess to them, an agreement doesn't mean anything. There is no chance I would ever buy anything from them. They also own the local Audi dealership, so they now have no shot at selling me a Q7. Larry Pecan Voorhees, NJ
