Buying a 2018 Prius
We were 100% satisfied with the sales person Kenney Bussiere. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, forthright, and willing to meed our needs in price and car color. Whenever we emailed or texted him, he got right back to us. Our best experience in buying a new car ever!
This is the fourth car we have purchased from Toyota Volvo of Keene. Each time, Jamie Rios has been our sales person. We come back to him because he does an outstanding job in meeting our needs.
Purchase experience at Toyota of Keene
Toyota of Keene has been my familyd choice for over a decade. When I started thinking about needing a new car I sent an online message which was quickly responded to. Toyota was able to give me an estimated trade in value and helped me schedule an appointment with a sales representative, not just any sales rep., Joel R. Joel spent time explaining on my options and was at no point pushy. He gave me space to talk with my spouse and get back to him when I was ready. The experience was flawless, and I left with a shiny new vehicle. Service was also gracious to put my snow tires on my new vehicle which was piece of mind in the New England weather. Thanks everyone!
RAV4 Hybrid purchase
My husband and I have been researching the RAV4 Hybrid for a while and liked what we were reading so we went to Keene to do a test drive. Mitch Piper was the salesperson we dealt with and he was very knowledgeable about hybrids and very helpful in answering our questions (and we had a lot of questions!) We purchased the car and are absolutely thrilled. Thanks Mitch for all of your help..... and patience!!! Tom & Sue
If only Honesty were valued
Purchased a used RAV 4 -6 cylinder June 2017. Had power train warranty from dealer. Notified them of concern from point of sale over a sound as if never settled into a final gear. Sales says all Rav 4's have the sound. Within time frame of warranty notify of issue getting worse and a TSB describing issue to a T. This dealer failed to listen or diagnose the concern, calls to Toyota cares, a second opinion from another dealer and now some 8 months in, still zero resolution. Keene service manager after a visit and calls confirms the fix will not guarantee cure for concern, I was informed I can swap out this car for another on the lot , approved by the owner , Mr. Fenton. We arrive after choosing comparable vehicles to swap out our car. That Sunday experience with manager Mr. Kenny and his scare tactic -yelling at me that yes he had lied about doing a swap out, pushed me out the door. I was scared. If the approval was in and I was looking at one year newer, different cylinder swap and if the car I own is a non issue then the dealer should have honored what they warranted and offered. My advice is RUN and Run fast and far . This sale was not honest, was not honored . The only reason I know not all vehicles have the sound is from personal experience with friends cars- Toyota reputation and the 6 cylinder got me to the dealer in the first place. The warranty and my research should stand for itself and the offered swap should have happened -bullying and scare tactics are not where I will ever do business nor should anyone else. They survive based on location in western NH and no sales tax for neighboring buyers.
As my lease had only 5 months left to it, I decided to start looking around for my next vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and Toyota of Keene had one on their lot. They had just got it in and I wanted to go look at it. So I drove the short 25 miles and was checking the truck out and Sean Parent came over and started talking to me. If it hadnt been for the toyota hat, I would have thought he was another customer. Very cool and down to earth. No pressure at all. I told him I wanted that truck and we started chatting about my 16 tacoma and what he could do for me. To make a long story short, he is a great salesman that never gave me any pressure to buy or even do the math. They got my numbers very close to where I wanted them and after a test drive I signed on the sale. On 02/02/18, I drove away with a new 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad 4x4 Cement 6' bed. Thank you Sean and Toyota of Keene.
We recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Sienna. The people at the dealership were very responsive when we reached out to them by email for additional information after obtaining an initial quote online. Setting up a time to test drive the vehicle was easy. The salesman we worked with, Ned Lester, was very personable, as were the rest of the people there whom we interacted with. We would gladly do business with them again!
Sales & Service
My husband & I have been servicing our Toyota vehicles here for over 29 years! We just purchase a 2016 Highlander & the experience was exceptional! Joel was our sales person who provided us with all the information we asked and then some. Matt the sales manager was also wonderful to work with. We truly felt like family there .... Especially with all our years of doing business with them! Hedi in Service has always treated us as family as well! The entire staff is AWESOME which is why we drive 100 miles each way (from home) to take our business there!!!
LoRAVving My 2016 RAV4
Cant say enough about how positive my experience was with Toyota of Keene. Had been to Manchester/Nashua because they said they were bigger and could do better...NO!!!!!, Toyota of Keene and the salesmen, Ned Lester and Manager Dave Barrett were wonderful. They listened to me and knew what I wanted and what I could and could not afford and worked with me and now I am set and loving my new RAV4!!! Thank you Ned and Dave of Toyota of Keene, NH and the Fenton Family who owns the dealership. We are so fortunate to have such a great dealership in the Monadnock region. No need to go to Manchester or Nashua, the deals and inventory in Keene is awesome!!!
Car salesmen that treated you like family
I ended up at Toyota of Keene because I was sick of not having a car and just wanted to pick one out and get it over with. This dealership was the only one around that was open on a Sunday, (they are not anymore) and were the only ones that had the Corolla in a true standard transmission. We walked in and told them exactly what I wanted to see. Immediately Randy F went and got the keys and told us to take it for a test drive, no questions asked. We came back and started doing paperwork. Randy was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. Being only 22 I haven't dealt with many but he didn't have that "I need to sell you this car, right now, at this price" attitude. He gave us the final price that they could do and said if we weren't able to make that work he would completely understand and would try to seek out other cars for us. After we got through with Randy we went into the financial office to finish up the paperwork. They were able to get us the lowest interest rate possible! And they were so efficient in what they were doing and made it really easy for us. I would recommend this dealership ten times over to anyone and everyone and if my Toyota ever gives out, I'll be back for more!
Toyota Highlander, Great service
make appointments online and have a pleasant waiting room, wifi.
Ned is a great person
Ned took the time to answer all of my wife question, after buying they had a new car workshop that was above and beyond, walking you threw service center and explain any additional question after you have already purchase.
Non-existent Customer Service after Complaint
Once my vehicle had a problem, I got the run around from the service department. I called the Toyota 800 service number and opened a case. I was told that Todd the customer service manager at Toyota of Keene would contact me within three business days. I did not receive a phone call back. I called the 800 number two more times and still received no phone call or other communication from the dealership. My complaint with the BBB resulted in no phone call either and only a pat and dismissive answer by letter through the BBB. I was ignored and no effort was made on Toyota of Keene's part to resolve or even discuss the issue with me. Even if they felt they were in the right in terms of the vehicle's issue, ignoring a customer's formal complaint is poor customer service! Customer Disservice is what I received. I did get a response THE NEXT DAY when I posted a negative review/comment on another rating website. Interesting how a prompt response was elicited when my dissatisfaction was public. The customer service manager apologized for 'the miscommunication'. Ignorning a customer until a public review is posted does not qualify as a 'miscommunication'. I will no longer do business with them and will let everyone know of my experience there. I should say the sales department of this dealership is wonderful and I had a great experience with Jamie Rios. Too bad for them I won't be back to purchase/service any vehicles.
They Could Have at Least Bought me Dinner First!
Where else can you go to look at a used vehicle priced reasonably at $16,877, trade in your current vehicle, and receive an email the next day with a loan pre-approval in the amount of $20,000, which is the price this dealership had graciously financed on my behalf for the vehicle... I didn't sign...I'm blonde, but far from a dumb one. They (I'm not sure who exactly, but someone at the dealership) kindly added on $2400 for a warranty, $800 for group life insurance, and a fee of $900 in order to get the financing. (For those who don't know, dealerships get "kickbacks" or "finder's fees" for hooking up financial institutions with would be consumers.) Salespeople make a very nice profit with the commissions they make from the warranties and group insurance policies. When the sales rep called me, he said we were "all set" and he would be sending me the info via email later in the afternoon. I wasn't going to be home in the afternoon, and was disappointed when the email came after I was out. I tried to access it through my phone, but was unable to open the attachment. So I sent it to my husband who opened it and laughed. The moral of the story is this:Stay away...stay far away. I had heard some stories about this place, and had an unfun time about 20 years ago there, but I decided to give it a shot. That was stupid. Geez, they could have at least bought me dinner first..
"car salesman stigma" comes true!
The first fake handshake, glued on smile and "I'm your best friend hello" set off my "fight or flight" alarm in my head. Too bad I did not listen. This past weekend I visited the Keene Toyota New Hampshire dealer inquiring about the Yaris Hatchback. The red one was sitting in the garage with the back window blown out and a salesman, "my best new friend" stumbling over his words as how it happened (license plate placed in rear view window and defrost turned on). To get to the point, I was escourted to his desk and that is when it all began. The "how much do you owe on your trade in", "we have a special on this and that to bring your payments up to......, OH, we are relaxed here, let me go ask the manager. do you want some coffee?" My brain was screeming "stop" from the moment he wanted me to start filling out papers. This salesman totally ignored my initial request of how much my trade in was worth and finally answered the question with "oh yeah, the same amount as your final payment on your car" which, by the way was under 10,000 bluebook price. I felt like a deflated balloon, tired of being filled with a lot of "hot air". I left knowing I will never go back to Keene Toyota again. Too bad for the other salesmen (and women) in the room, their colleauge is not a team player but was "wax from beginning to end". [violative content deleted]
