Have purchased and leased several cars through this dealership and would recommend to anyone. Great service
Mike was great! He listen to me and the Sales team actually delivered everything I asked for...I couldnât be happier! I love my new RAV4 !
We have purchased/leased several vehicles from IRA Toyota over the years and continue to use them for service. Great service, low pressure, good inventory. I highly recommend this dealership.
In regards to service department
I came in for an oil change. Our service associate, Jose, told me I wasnt due yet and told me what I was due for. He explained a service I should get done due to my mileage in thorough detail, which I appreciated. I ended up getting my tires rotated and a pair of windshield wipers. Jose took the time to explain services in detail and was very patient while I figured out what service I pursued today. He was friendly and kind. His customer service exceeded my expectations. IRA Manchester is very lucky to have him as an employee!
I was planning on buying a car, and ended up leaving. I've never considered leasing, but it was presented in an appealing way. I am happy with my new car, and happy with the dealership. However, I was forced to get new insurance in order to drive my new car off the lot (because I didn't have my insurance card on me). The agent we worked with said he got new insurance for clients "all the time" and said it'd be free to cancel Monday (we bought our car Saturday night). Not only is this completely incorrect, but we were charged $50 to cancel. The dealership will be reimbursing us, but it has been a hassel. A new inspection sticker also wasn't put on my car (even though it was included on my paperwork), nor was I told it wasn't, and I had to take an extra trip down to solve this.
Dude, where's my Prius Prime? Sweet!!!
I, like most people, am not a big fan of the modern car shopping experience. I did a ton of research on my own, already had pre-approved financing through my credit union, and made an appointment with Andrew at Ira of Manchester so test drive a specific car their website said they had in stock. Upon arriving I was told they did not have the car in stick, but Andrew wold be happy to show me other options - No, thank you! Thankfully, Andrew actually listened to what I wanted and was eventually to locate and acquire the car I was looking for so that I could test drive it. I'll admit it - I could not have been the easiest customer to deal with, especially since I wanted a very specific car, with specific options, didn't want to talk about financing, and I wasn't going to change my mind until I test drove this car. In the end, I could not have been more satisfied with Andrew and the rest of the team at Ira of Manchester (Bel and Bill). Andrew was attentive, friendly, patient, and above all he was not pushy! I felt like he really went out of his way to make the experience the least painful as possible. BTW my Prius Prime is perfectly AMAZING! Thank you, Andrew!
Install remote starter
I just bought my 2015 Venza and had the remote starter installed. Schedule for 1PM. Dropped off car at 1 the courtesy shuttle drop me off at home and within an hour they called car was all set ready to go. Driver was great, service adviser was great! All in all it was a great experience. Thank you IRA toyota.
Great, fast and friendly
I highly recommend IRA Toyota, Matt took a lot of time to find me the right car and Bell in finance worked to get me a great rate..
Recently I was involved in a car accident and unfortunately had a total loss. Spoke to a Manchester NH Toyota Finance Director and he took care of me. My wife gave me a ride to the dealership.. and she got an oil change in her Toyota while I was been taking care of. This is what happens when a customer is Welcomed and well treated, my loyalty will be always with whom takes care for me and my family. Thank you to all.. outstanding job!!
Don't seem to want to sell me a car
I negotiated a great price, initial experience was excellent. They told me they'd need a week to get the car, gave me a printout of the exact car with VIN, options list, etc. I called them a week later, they said they needed some time. Few days later, they said they were sorry but the car is not available or some similarly vague answer. They did not offer a different car etc. I went online, realized that this car, with the same VIN, was located a another local dealer. I went there, they shaved another $500 off the price.
Lacking communication skills
I brought our Sienna in for recall service. They took the carseats off the second row to do the work. They put them back without securing the LATCH (these are seats for infants that do not get secured separately by the seatbelts). They positioned it to appear properly placed, but did not bother to tell me they could not secure the LATCH. Thankfully we realized they were loose the next day. If we got into an accident on the way home, it would have been devastating. I call the manager to let her know this; she apologized but did not sound concerned. I am glad I take my cars to a local independent shop, who actually take pride in their work.
Said car was available, but it was not.
I checked the availability of a car online, spoke with someone "live" and both confirmed that the car was available. I left home to see the car, and got a phone call from Ira Toyota while I was already on the road. The car had already been sold the day before, but did I want to (and I'm paraphrasing here) "look at a more expensive car that they still have on the lot?" Ummm... NO!
Scammed on Accessories
Best advice? Stay far away from this dealership. Some of the sales people here seem to be practiced [non-permissible content removed]. The following is an account of my experience at Ira Toyota: I was interested in a specific 4runner sitting at the front of their lot and asked before test driving it whether this particular vehicle was available for sale. I was assured, Yes, by the saleswoman. After returning from the test drive, I was told, Oopsie, that vehicle has been promised to the brother-in-law of the finance manager, and I would have to order another one and wait six weeks to receive it. I decided to leave and asked for the keys to my personal vehicle back as it was being evaluated for trade-in. Instead of giving the keys back they used it as a point of leverage to try to keep me on the premises. I demanded them back and left. 10 minutes later I received a call; they decided to sell me the vehicle after all. I went back. Big mistake. I wanted the vehicle, and they could smell it. During the sales process with the saleswomen and her fast-talking manager, I was told Mr. Brother-in-Law had also ordered a special remote starter for this vehicle and that if I wanted it, I had to purchase that day and would need to also buy the pre-ordered remote starter for... $3,995. The saleswoman commented, "I don't know why remote starters for that vehicle cost so much, but I guess they do." After the earlier emotional rollercoaster, my judgment was clouded, and I didn't question the charge. I was told the starter was not yet installed and I was asked to sign a piece of paper stating that I had to make an appointment to come back and have it installed (see reference: imgur.com/7F8OZWN). I signed and left with my new 4runner. The next day, the saleswoman's words kept coming back to me, "I don't know why remote starters so cost much." I realized, hey, remote starters don't typically cost $3,995. Maybe it's a special remote starter with some new technologically advanced features. I called the dealership's parts department and asked how much a factory remote starter was. He told me. A tiny fraction of $3,995. I explained my situation to the parts person on the phone, and he said, "That doesn't sound right." Let me talk to someone in sales "that I trust" and get back to you. That went nowhere. I refused receipt of the starter and asked for my $3,995 back. This request was met with double talk and denial. When I asked, why was the remote starter added to the sale in the first place because I didn't ask for it? I was told, "I guess the computer adds it automatically." They pointed out the little words "MARKET ADJ" in the paperwork and said that's an additional expense to the vehicle. At no time during the sales process was "MARKET ADJ" explained to me. And how could I still be owed "MARKET ADJ" after leaving the dealership (again, see reference: imgur.com/7F8OZWN)? On top of that, nowhere in any of the documentation did they list out nor did we discuss any amount for the remote starter other than the $3,995. I later find out, this is a common scam run by dishonest car salespeople. Since smartphone apps are making it easier for customers to know the dealer's profit margin, unscrupulous salespeople markup accessories to rip off the customer. I'll point out; I also paid full MSRP for the vehicle! I don't believe their original story about the brother-in-law, and I don't trust the sales people I dealt with to be honest about any of it. There's nothing like buying a vehicle you absolutely love but, every time you drive it, have residual bad feelings about how you were ripped off when you bought it. Believe me, it's a downer. Like I said, stay far away. There are other Toyota dealers in the area to patronize. (Sorry if you saw this same review on other forums. I've been cutting and pasting.)
In the past years I had a good experience with this dealership, they kept a high customer service value. Maybe because some of the sales persons that I used to work are gone, I feel like this is not my favorite dealer ship any more. I was called by a sales representative inviting me to see what they can do to get me in a new lease and that their deals are so aggressive that they will work out something for me. Well I make the appointment, test the car, he ask me if I want to get the car today I said definitely yes! starting to talk about numbers and he just went once to the financial manager and said that they couldn't go down to the price I need and send me home the financial manager was too busy to come to talk to us, which in the past they came to talk to us even if they were busy asking us to wait until they can come and at least thank us for our bussines, basically we were rush to get out, and I think it was because the sales person next appointment was there, In the past I sat for hours haggling prices just because I said I wanted to buy a car that day but today not even close to that. Maybe they as a dealer are not giving the customer the value that they deserved year ago. Bussines must be great today so they have the luxury of letting a customer who said will buy or lease a car the very same day if the price was right , walk out the door empty handed. I was going to keep my bussines with this dealer because in the past they went above and beyond to match my needs and I thought they have the so call "client loyalty policy" needles to say I will be shopping around and might end up taking my bussines where they are valued since my lease its up in two months. Thank you for send me empty handed to the busy financial manager "Ricky " who I never met.
I had a great experience when I came in for a new vehicle. I originally went in for a used SUV, but left with a brand new one and it was within my price range for payments. Ricky D did everything to make sure I left completely satisfied with my new Rav4! I love it!
I purchased a Toyota Highlander from Ira Manchester in August and overall my experience with sales team was good. They were pleasant and nice, but there were some small things that left me with a bad taste. When I purchased the car it was missing a key. I was told it will be sent to me but I never received it. When you purchase a car most dealerships will inspect the car and register it for you. They did neither and I was charged the additional fee. I was told that the car came with floor mats, but after the purchase I had to fight to have them added. The car was supposed to be Toyota pre-owned certified, but they almost sold me a car with bare tires. Also, I am now finding out after being looked at by a Toyota certified mechanic, that the brake pads need to be replaced after 3 months of use. The experience at the dealership was OK, but they left a lot of things out that the average dealership should be doing. Overall disappointing and left a bad taste.
See Andrew M for a professional and efficient sales experience
I would recommend working with Andrew M to experience a clean and efficient auto purchase experience. I met Andrew on line, he researched the in stock and allocated inventory, accurately quoted the auto equipment, worked out a fair price, met us on time and efficiently delivered our vehicle. Honestly, it was the best auto purchase experience I can recall-he gets high marks on respect, ethics and attention to detail. He is a winner!
I love my new Rav4 and had an awesome experience with Dave L at Ira Toyota in Manchester! He was quick and knowlegdable! He was easy to talk to and understood my needs!
Great sales experience finding the perfect car for my needs
I recently purchased a Highlander from Ira Toyota. I worked with Dan S, who not only listened to what I wanted in my new vehicle, he offered suggestions on what vehicle would meet my needs. I love my highlander and he was right: it fits all my needs as stated. Dan was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles we discussed. The atmosphere in the office was friendly. Other sales associates asked if I needed anything during the sales process. Ira Toyota in Manchester is definitely my new dealer to work with when I need a new car.
