I drove over 100 miles to trade my 2015 low mileage vehicle (under 54k), for an even trade for a larger vehicle as the frost heaves were making my car bottom out, they put me in a 2012 Mitsubishi with 67k miles on it, even though I was giving up 3 years & close to 17k more miles I was still willing to trade my $10k car, btw I called several times before I took the drive & they knew exactly what I wanted, when they came out with the paper work, they wanted my car & $7k more, they were only going to give me $6000 for my vehicle, which I bought less than 6 months ago, they never offered me the $5k above my trade in value that they advertised!! They know I was there to trade my vehicle for a larger vehicle, after I refused the Mitsubishi which they jacked up $5000, they then offered me a 2012 dodge with 62k on it & wanted to trade me even, bottom line they are the biggest ripoffS out there!! ... DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET CHEATED!!! ... THEIR SOLE PURPOSE WAS TO GET ME THERE THEN RIP ME OFF!!

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank everyone who made it possible for me to get Into a new car. I had a great experience with Nate Sequin and the sales Team.
Never again, worst car buying experience
Worst experience ever in car buying. Look out! The MSRP maybe $27,280.00 than they add on at the dealership $4995.00 for warranty forever (which pretty much means if your car becomes on fixable with 200,000 miles on it that might give you five 500 bucks for it), 1yr 15k maintenance plan ( really how much can that cost?) State inspections for life ( if someone has their car for 5 to 6 years that's less than $300 total there) tile key protection (only covered for 6 months then you pay for all the months after), wheel locks ( there's another $75), and nitrogen filled tires. All that for almost $5,000! Doesn't that sound like a deal to you?! And then watch out if your financing doesn't go through and you sign that day. They may not even call you for up to 14 days to let you know you got approved by a different bank and have to resign or not going to prove it all. No communication at all! An absolutely horrible experience.
Attempted purchase - lesson learned
At Dan O'Brien KIA, I found a new Niro that we are interested in upgrading to. I went to the dealership and spoke with a very nice salesman (Gary) who assisted me with my ATTEMPT to but a car from Dan O'Brien KIA. To make a long story short, another person came over to the desk with Gary and proceeded to Take Over the sale discussion. (I assume her is the Sales Manager but can't be sure as he never introduced himself.) On a piece of SCRAP PAPER, he wrote down some figures, an amount they were offering for my trade (which was about $6k over book) the FULL MSRP cost of the car with a couple thousand added (forgetting that I saw the real sticker before seaking out a salesperson) then a monthly amount I would be paying for the new vehicle each month... for 84 months. As I enjoy a good joke and had a couple hours to WASTE, I continued to see where this guy was going to go, maybe it would help a future potential shopper to STAY CLEAR of DAN O'Brien KIA in the future. As I said in the beginning, the salesman, Gary Guyer, was a true professional and I would buy from him if he was to be at a reputal dealership that didn't insist on poorly treating, insulting and trying to cheat the potential customers. I would NEVER recommend any one to go to DAN O'BRIEN KIA in Concord unless you have a sense of humor and are looking to kill some down time.
Purchase of a Kia Forte
I had a very good experience with Dan O'Brien Kia when I recently purchased a car there. Lynda of customer service is why I ended up going there rather than to another dealership as I had planned. She is friendly and pleasant to talk with. I had concerns being disabled and requiring help. She addressed my concerns and picked a salesperson she knew would be patient and understanding. Matthew Miller, salesperson, was just as great. There was no pressure to buy like found in many dealerships. Features of the car were explained to me and the test drive was good. I would recommend Dan O'Brien Kia to anyone looking for a great deal and good experience in buying a car.
