Scripted ignorant excuses
by JC on 01/12/2024Service Rep tried explaining that a dead battery in a 2021 Subaru vehicle with 30k miles wasn't out of the ordinary because of cold weather. Apparently I should expect Subaru batteries to last this long. Supply chain still has issues & a… battery for a 2021 vehicle took over a week to track down. Luckily, they supplied a loaner vehicle & honored the battery warranty which expired 2 months ago.JC, we understand the frustration over your battery issues, and there were supply chain issues with it being on backorder. We're glad you were happy with our loaner vehicle and honoring the warranty. Perhaps you would reconsider increasing the stars for us since, as a dealership, we did everything we could for you in this situation. If you'd like to discuss further, please reach out to me. No place like home

The "new" service rep, Katie, is an incredibly cool, knowledgeable and smart young lady that knows what she is talking about, what's even better is if… she doesn't know she will find out like it's her mission. Been going there since 2016, my wife is on her 2nd and I am on my 3rd. Have some issues with my 23' Outback limited, was there on a Friday, Katie was on the phone with me on Monday working on a resolution, not sure how it's going to work out but I know I'll be there with it or another Outback. Like I said, there's no place like home. My yes responses to questions are for the maintenance not for the outstanding issue that is still pending.Eric, we appreciate your kind words about Katie and our team at All American Subaru in Old Bridge. We're glad to know that you've been with us since 2016! Rest assured, we'll do everything possible to resolve the issue with your Outback. Thanks for sticking by us!
Made the process of buying a car a lot more fun
by Erin C on 07/27/2023After searching a few days for the elusive Forester Premium trim model, I started calling various Subaru dealers and contacted All American. I initially spoke with Samantha, who was able to help tell me about the inventory even though they… weren’t even open yet! After a few laughs, I found out they had one premium model in stock. My husband and I drove out to Old Bridge and met with Delia, who showed us a brandy new 2023 Forester Premium - like so new that it was still wrapped in plastic! We liked the car, and worked out the numbers with Delia and manager Jason. I felt we got a very fair price on the car and also on our trade in. The process went very smooth and while we went home to get our trade-in, they started on the financing and detailing of our new car. After finalizing everything with Delia, we sat down to finish the financial stuff with Mike. We had a couple of laughs while signing our lives away! This review wouldn’t be complete without a shoutout to Conor, who assisted with helping us learn about Starlink, aka Stinky Star. :) Overall we enjoyed the process of shopping at All American. Everyone was super nice and it made the usually painful process of buying a car a bit more fun. We will definitely return and refer friends and family there if they’re looking for a Subaru.Erin, thank you for the review! Great Experience with Dean

Dean Fitzgibbons set me at ease as soon as I got in his office. He was extremely… personable and very knowledgeable about the features and functions of the car (I appreciated that he took me on an actual test drive on the highway!). Most importantly, Dean and crew were trustworthy. There weren’t any mystery fees or price discrepancies like other dealers. I feel like I got a fair deal with zero pressure, I didn’t even have to go in the finance guy’s office. Overall, I highly recommend All American and especially Dean Fitzgibbons for a fun, personal Subaru buying experience with no shenanigans.A+++ Thanks To Iryna

Iryna is very concerned that her customers have complete knowledge of the… StarLink and Media Systems and being completely satisfied with your purchase. Iryna and the Dealership, have a family attitude towards their customers and it is Iryna's Customer Service attitude that brings us back each time we are in need of a vehicle. We confirmed deal through messages and set up a pick up date. 1 hour before we were to pick up car they called ( not Larry who was the guy who made the deal with me ) and… said the owners friend just bought your car. A manager called to apologize and said they would make it right. since then no calls... crickets from the entire dealership, finance rates have changed and they continue to list car as available. Bait and switch at its finest. Go to a different dealership who is more honest and keeps their word.Very Pleased with Car and Salesperson

But the best part of our experience was dealing with the salesperson, Christina Guerra.… Christina went to great lengths to track down the service records for this vehicle so we would know what we were getting. She was very professional and followed through on all of her commitments. I have to say that I was not looking forward to buying a used car, but Christina and All American Subaru made it a positive experience.Makes taking care easy!

So glad of that this is a great place to care for your car. The waiting room is nice and the drive in drive… service is great. They do not try to sell you anything that you don't need but will do the basic checks and just do what you ask them too. They are on time too!Sales Manager refused to honor his own quote
by GenuineBuyer on 02/28/2018I reluctantly give 1 star to All American Subaru Old Bridge NJ, because it is 1 star too many. Mark Powell (Sales Manager of All American Subaru) emailed me for a new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. His email clearly displayed the picture… of the particular vehicle, MSRP and "Your E-Price". The next morning l contacted Mark to persue with the purchase. Mark stated that the email did come directly from him, and it was not a computer generated auto reply email. However, Mark said the quoted price was incorrect and he cannot honor it. Furthermore, Mark told me an additional $2500 is needed if I want to purchase this vehicle; alternatively get a lower model for the E-Price that he quoted me. This is a bad and unwanted business practice. It is extremely irresponsible to the consumers. Is it a scam and/or a classic bait and switch? For all the serious car buying consumers out there, do not trust the E-Price quote from this dealership even if it came directly from the Sales Manager. Accountability is definitely NOT in their vocabulary. It is surely not the car buying experience that you wanted!! Just for the record, there was no disclaimer found anywhere in the email.Mark P. is one of the most honest Sales Managers in the business. He has helped thousands of very happy customers. As winners of the prestigious 2018 Subaru Love Promise Customer & Community Commitment Award, we always strive for 5-star reviews. This situation was simply human error and Mark making a mistake with his email. He was very clear and transparent about it after he realized the mistake. This should not warrant a negative review unless you have never ever made a single mistake in your entire life. We are a family owned and operated dealership, not some corporate global company. Mistakes happen with everyone.
Buying New Subaru Legacy
by JackinNJ on 07/15/2016My overall experience with buying a new car at this dealership was very good. This dealership was recommended to me as I bought the car through the Costco Auto program. As advertised, I informed the salesperson what car & options I… wanted. He (John) showed me the pricing (MSRP vs. Costco). There was no arguing just a pleasant discussion. In addition to the Costco pricing, they also honored the extra $250 coupon that I got from the NY Auto Show. As they did not have the exact 2016 car that I wanted, they were able to factory order a 2017 car with those options at a minimal cost increase. As the car is still so new, we are still getting used to all the new functions but so far, so good.
