Hope you think twice about going here
Steffy did a repair on my vehicle and when I picked up my vehicle there was a dent in my drivers front fender that had happened during the repair. I received the answer that Steffy will not assume any responsibility for repair. I had an estimate done today and it was 660.82 so on top of the repair bill which will come out of my pocket. My advice is avoid having service done here.
Top Notch American Car Dealer, The Customer Is Still Right At Gene Steffy!
My wife and I felt no pressure while shopping at Gene Steffy Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep. Our primary salesman Bob P. was outstanding before during and even after the sale, ensuring we were taken care of every step of the way. The whole team concept is used at this dealership and if one person isn't able to help in a situation someone who can jumps into action to ensure customer satisfaction. I have already recommended Gene Steffy to two family members in the market for new cars because I know they will be treated as people and not as a sale. Thanks Team Steffy and a special thanks to Mr. Gene Steffy himself, I have never had the President of a dealership come personally introduce himself to my family and I. Classy group, I will continue to recommend Gene Steffy to all who mention car buying!
Great work and friendly staff
Service cost less than expected and was completed ahead of schedule. They even took the time to wash and vacuum my car. These guys are great to work with.
We bought two vehicles previously, decided to go back again. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the establishment and the fact that Mr. Steffy himself makes it a point to shake your hand and say Thank You, was a selling point to us. We would "people" watch while waiting and found everyone would get friendly service.
Awesome Bob P
Bob P goes above and beyond to make you comfortable in all aspects of the purchase and selection procedures. Great job Bob and the gang at Gene's!!! jc
Bob was a very fair salesman
This group was more than helpful. I did my research and it wasn't necessary because they gave me the best deal I think they could have offered. They didn't oversell me and there was no pressure. If you want a car great vehicle and great service then I recommend this dealership and Bob Porter.
Did not stand behind what they sold
Sold me a used car that didn't work very well. Seemed ok on the test drive. Got it home and started having multiple issues. Took it to a local repair shop and it cost more to fix it than I paid for it. Dealership was not very helpful and wouldn't stand behind what they sold. These guys are not very forthcoming with you and dont do the right thing. I thought they were nice when I was there, and was looking at maybe coming back when my next vehicle needed replaced. After the way I was treated, I will never consider them again. YMMV, however I will never return here for anything and have advised my friends and family to not patronize them.
We purchased our van from Gene Steffy's over a year ago and have had all our maintenance & repairs done there. In my previous experiences I had no problem with this dealership. However, the last time my wife brought it in for service they were to fix a taillight and do a tranny flush. They called that morning and told my wife that the brakes needed work as well. They first quoted her a cost of $250. They then said no, that's not right, $350. She said OK, go ahead and do that. She goes to pick the car up and the bill is $769. Apparently BOTH estimates were right....they just hadn't bothered to add them together. She walks out to the car and the paint below the taillight has a row of scratches across it about 6 inches across. The cashier lady, of course, can't help at all. So I call the next day and talk to the manager. He is absolutely no help. Does he say "Sorry for the misunderstanding" ? Not once. Does he offer to do anything about double the cost? Not at all. He won't even admit that they might have scratched the paint, saying that the van was very dirty and he'd have to look at it to see if they could "possibly" have done that and if HE determines that it could have been their fault then they will fix it. I don't know if I will even take it in to have it looked at because I feel there is a very small chance they will assume any responsibility at all. I do know one thing, they have lost my business for car service permanently and any further car purchases I make will be elsewhere.
