I visited another Mazda dealer in Illinois and was very disappointed and the sales person just wasn't very knowledgeable. The folks at Bommarito South are great. Go see these guys if you like a wide selection and awesome service.

I brought car in for Mazda factory recall work, which I was under the impression would be performed that day when I signed up for timeslot. Instead I was given a loaner car because they were behind and was told my car would be available Monday morning. I had appts all afternoon that day so I was unable to pick up my car when I was called around 1:30 that car was ready. I picked up car and returned loaner on Tuesday morning. The loaner was nice,but I would have preferred to have my own car in the initial 3 hour time slot I signed up for on Saturday.

My car purchase experience with Steven was exceptional. I had only intended to take a look at the CX 3, low end model, for a future purchase and I told him what my price limit was. He showed me the low end model and I was satisfied with it and said I would consider it in the future He is not an over bearing sales person which turns me off. He then suggested that I take a look at the grand touring CX 3. He explained all the features that were available on this model. It was above my price limit but with all the features it was a possibility. I decided to go with the the top end model since I was looking for a smaller car than my trade-in, the CX 5. I purchased the car that day and have not regretted it. It handles like a small sports car and the ride is smooth. It really does have zoom zoom Steven was the one helped me decide to buy this car. I went in just to schedule an appointment for later in the week. I was told they could service the vehicle if I had time to wait. I was in and back on the road within an hour. Plus they threw in a car wash... very nice.

I had an excellent experience at Bommarito Mazda. I am the type of person who researches large purchases and was never pressured to make an immediate decision. The salesmen were very helpful in finding the right fit for me and worked with me to make a deal that fit my budget. I walked out of two other dealerships because they pressured me to make a decision that day and refused to talk financials until I make a commitment to buy their car. I will return to Bommarito because of the way I was treated- respectfully.

I dropped off my vehicle for transmission oil change and oil change and state inspection. I git free oil change for it being my 5th oil change and they even washed my car.

Missing options and financing games

My wife was looking for a CX-9 so on lunch I ran in one day and asked about their stock. They had one that had the main requirements that we were looking for. I agreed we would come back at the end of the week and he gave me a very good price on the SUV. We came back as agreed that friday around noon. My wife and I and Mark Schwarzentrauber discussed the car for about 30 minutes including a discussion of all options. We took it on a 20 minute drive as we'd already driven one. Got back and agreed to buy it. Once we were back in the finance office the "Finance Manager" smelled like an ashtray and proceded to give us paperwork showing a price of a little over $1000 dollars more. It turns we had a "cash sales" price and as we elected Mazda's 0% interest deal they had to cover the buy down. We negotiated a few hundred bucks more off but we were so frazzled by dealership games that we ate the cost. Later that night we took the car out and discovered that it didn't have an option that my wife had speciffically asked if the CX-9 had (HID head lights). We called the next day and asked about our conversation with Mark where he replied that he remembered telling us that it had them and he must have been mistaken. We drove up to speak to Cory who told us we should have read the window sticker better and they could put aftermarket ones in for $2000. If it is my responsibility to check everything the salesman says and he is either [non-permissible content removed] or incompetent, why are we using dealers.
