Spend $30 and they couldn't even give me floormats.
Purchased a prius 3 for $29,500 and this dealership tricked me out of the floormats and the retractable cargo cover. (both are listed as standard equipment on the model I purchased) Missing floormats were hidden by two paper floor savers and I didn't notice until after signing the contract. I received a couple calls from my sales person asking how I enjoyed the car and the calls stopped after I asked about the floormats. There are lots of Toyota dealerships. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Excellent Customer Service and advice
Have been a Honda owner since 1988. Never thought I would be so satisfied with the service and recommendations offered at Szott. I love my new car and I thank Lawrence Dixon for providing the information I needed to make a knowledgeable, rather than an emotional decision.
FABULOUS FAST SERVICE
Szott Toyota is not the closest dealership for me. It is actually 35 minutes away versus 10 to the nearest Toyota dealership. I am very busy. I called at 4:10 on a Friday afternoon and was encouraged to "come on in!" I needed an oil change and the 80,000 mile check up on my 2012 Toyota Prius. I arrived a little after 5. The service manager came to say my car was FINISHED 35 minutes later. EVERYTHING had been taken care of. The service manager explained that they have a two-person team that works on the car. It took me less time to drive half an hour and have my car serviced than going to the nearby place. WOW! Szott Service Department did a GREAT job. The office staff was also delightful to work with. I definitely will be going back.
Dave Deza was Phenomenal in the purchace of my 2008 Highlaner! If you want to work with any sales associate please ask for Dave he treats you as an equal and is very fair and honest. He took extra pictures for me since he knew I wad flying in to buy the vehicle and drive it home and he wanted to make sure there were no surprises.
Initially selected a Camry and Tacoma to lease. After further review we decided the Tacoma needed a bigger engine and the Camry was not a good fit. So we opted for a RAV4 to replace the Camry and a Tacoma with a bigger engine. At first it seemed it would be impossible to accomplish this since we had made the lease deals at end of month and paperwork had already been turned in the previous day. We felt discouraged. The team at Szott Toyota came through though. Along with James the finance guy , Herb, and Andrew they worked out a deal and we were able to get into the vehicles we wanted. We Wound up keeping the Camry, it grew on my wife, and well she's the boss. The undeniable truth is that these guys bent over backwards for us. Even going through this "ordeal" they remained courteous, professional, and super friendly. So good to finally walk into a dealership and feel like family, they took care of us so well!!. When the opportunity arises we will definitely recommend Szott as the place to go to. Thanks you guys so much!!
The sales team was very patient and very experienced with the sales process. They were very professional and personable. I recommend everyone to buy a car from this team as you will not regret it!
very friendly service worth the trip
i am from far out of town and came here to see what deals they had to offer me after being disappointed at 4 other dealers. but they reassured me that i was getting the best deal and i did, thanks to Ray Sadler. excellent salesmen and tried his best to keep my cost low after i explained my situation with being in college and working. thank you guys so much, i will refer people to this dealership always!
Great customer service
I discovered Szott through the Costco Auto Program. Despite it being some distance from my home, I am so thrilled to have found this gem of a dealership. Not only were they able to get me a great price, but they have wonderful customer service. I want to give a huge shout out to Dave Radcliffe. I have never worked with a more knowledgeable, open, honest and understanding salesman. I truly felt Dave had my best interest at heart. I can’t recommend Szott and more specifically Dave Radcliffe highly enough.
Poor Customer service
Purchased a new car here about 18 months ago when dealership was called Waterford Toyota and had a great experience. Went back and found that dearlership had changed hands and everybody was new. I was first quoted a price and told that since I was going through Costco's auto program I was receiving the lowest possible price. I went back the next day to show my spouse the car and it had been marked down another $1500 for their Toyota Saleathon. When I asked about why the vehicle was $1500 cheaper than they originally quoted, I was told they could mark it down for the sales event. Hmmm. I contacted Costco and they stated that if I could not get the vehicle at that price to let them know and they would speak to the dealership. The dealership did eventually give me the sales price so I went ahead with the deal. During the contract signing the dealership used high pressure sales techniques to try to sell me extras such as extended warranty, paint coverage, gap insurance and tire warranty. I threatened to leave unless they stopped. I had no intention of buying any of the "extras" The extras I purchased included leather seats and satellite radio; however, I found out after the fact that the leather was not factory installed. Also, on delivery of the vehicle I notice the seats in the rear of the vehicle were not leather at all, they were vinyl. I said this was not acceptable because i had specified leather and was told seats were leather. There was no mention of certain seats being vinyl. I also noticed that the driver seat was broken and was told that was not unusual since the seats were aftermarket seats. HUH? Not part of the deal. Since 3 business days had elapsed since I signed the contract I was stuck with the car. Now I have a seat that doesn't work as it should because of the way the dealership installed the leather seats. Also, when I showed up for delivery the battery was dead. They tried to tell me it was because the lights had been left on, but I knew that wasn't the case since the lights shut off when the car shuts off. There ended up being a short in the trunk switch that left me stranded on the side of the road for several hours shortly after leaving the dealership. During all of this the dealership was not responsive to my phone calls and messages, did not keep me updated as to the status of my car. I drove to the dealership at their request to drop the car off and they could not take it the day I was there. Since they are the ones who set the appointment I was a little angry about that.
Gold nugget dealer
August 08, 2009 Purchased our new 2010 Corolla LE, last week at Waterford Toyota. and was impressed with the treatment we received. Eugene, our salesman, provided answers to all our questions accurately and without reservation. He was knowledgeable, providing an insight to the various Toyota models and how we could configure our selection based on our needs. This is an important point for consumers, because there was NO pressure to purchase a higher priced model, a car from their inventory or to add unneeded options that did not fit our requirements. Thanks to Toyota pricing, rebate and their zero financing, we decided upon a 2010 Corolla LE sedan. [ Before Cash for klunkers]. The final purchase process, signing the paperwork etc, was a no pressure process that went smoothly and quickly to completion. Dianne the Sales manager, was introduced and assured us, "Our customers are like golden nuggets and we treat them accordingly" I believe Eugene and Waterford Toyota have demonstrated they live up to that goal.
Car would not have passed a safety inspection at most decent dealerships...
I would highly recommend that you look very very very carefully when purchasing a car from this dealership. To make a long story short, I purchased an Acura from this dealership a couple months ago. The sales associate Judy assured me that the car had passed an inspection; meaning brakes, lights, and what not. I popped the hood and everything looked good. I then took the car for a test drive and everything seemed good. It was daytime so I didn't think to check the headlights, but took the dealerships word...MISTAKE!!! NEVER TAKE THEIR WORD!!! This little oversight was a $700 mistake! The HID charging unit was shot, the $100 light bulb was burned out, and the light bulbs inside the car that makes your clock and counsel light up turns out to also each be burned out. I can not afford to fix everything, but the grand total for taking the dealerships word that they did a safety inspection cost me $1,000.00. When I called the dealership to try and get some kind of relief, that could care less, used cars are a done deal once you leave the lot.
