I highly recommend this dealership over the Ford location in Royal Oak. The employees make you feel welcomed and certainly not rushed, unlike other dealerships I've encountered. A big shout out to Jake Swanson! If you're looking for an incredibly friendly and helpful salesman, he's your guy! If that doesn't sell you, he has a super sweet computer mouse. Oh, and I heard he may be related to Ron Swanson over in the Parks & Rec department.

The experience was great as always but I had a coupon that wasn’t honored & I’m a returning customer, so to be treated as if I’m new cause you can’t keep staff. I pass up 3 other dealers to go cross town to be treated like this.

I just purchased my 2nd car from this dealership. Dennis has been an awesome salesperson both times. He worked hard to earn my business and I now have a beautiful new car to show for it. I really enjoyed the service department when Joe and Eric were running it. Since then, parts prices have skyrocketed and I didn't feel as though my concerns were being met with my old vehicle. Nonetheless, I would buy another car from here when it's time.

Darin was very knowledgeable about both cars I was interested in (Escape & Fusion) and made every effort to get me the best deal possible! Bad Car

My husband and I purchased a vehicle and we've been having trouble with it since day 1. Brought it back and asked for our money back, but dealer refused. Finally, decided to put some pads on. That didn't work, so my husband called dealer back to inform them of the issue. They said change the tires. We buy new tires and the problem still persists. A week later engine light comes on and stays on. Finally, our transmission is gone out and we've barely had the car 30 days. The dealer is refusing to be of any assistance. This vehicle is in place so I can go to work. Now I'm missing out on my money. They expect me to pay my car note on time but I can't get Good Customer Service. I feel this is wrong. I will tell everyone I know not to make any purchases with this dealership.

2008 Jeep Liberty

Hello, I have been delaying my review of this whole experience because I wanted my son to give enough time after having the just purchased jeep fixed in your Suburban Ford of Ferndale service department twice in less than a week. This all started when the jeep died just twenty minutes after me signing papers and him driving it off your lot. The two previous cars he had purchased from private parties turned out to be absolute garbage so he wanted to go through a reputable dealer, and since my daughter and then her best friend both had good experiences with your dealer I suggested that he give it a try. I am pretty much sorry that I did. While I will say that your used car manager, Jay Edwards, has been a big help in seeing to it that the starter which caused the issue the first night and then the compressor, which was also very noisy and ultimately had to be replaced, were both fixed, my son has continued to have issues. While I fully understand that any vehicle with at least 100,000 miles on it will have issues, it seems to me that this jeep has had more than its fair share. I called Mr. Edwards two Saturday's ago because once again the jeep was having starting issues but when my son shut it off and then restarted it the jeep seemed to be okay so he has continued to drive it without the previous level of concern, until today. He contacted me and said that there have continued to be noise issues when starting so he researched what he believed the issue to be and checked under the hood and imagine my shock when he told me that there was no air filter in the jeep!!! He immediately had to go and purchase, at his expense, an air filter that your dealer should have made sure was there in the first place. I can not believe that your dealer would be so neglectful and do that to a customer, especially when they had the jeep in for service two different times in the first week. This is inexcusable, and to say that we are upset is putting it mildly. I will be posting these same thoughts on Yelp as well as the other site, and while we were initially very happy with the experience that my daughter and her friend had, I definitely do not feel the same way regarding the purchase of the jeep.

Service - 2015 Ford Edge

Received excellent service from Suburban Ford today. My new 2015 Ford Edge was completely shutting down when accelerating past 40mph causing serious concerns as I've only had this vehicle since February (6 months). After being told by several Metro Detroit dealerships via phone that they would need my car for several days with NO loaner car program available to me I was able to have Suburban service my vehicle and get me back out on the road in a couple of hours. Greatly appreciated! I received a new throttle body, tire rotation and oil change. Thanks Guys! Baby and I can travel the roads safely now!

Ford policy

The service, once completed was fine. However, "Ford Policy" kept my car in the shop for nine days. They kept saying they needed more evidence before they were allowed to make the warranty repair. I understand the repairs were not cheap, but to keep me and my car in limbo for so long is unacceptable. When the repairs were finally complete they were fine. This review is for the Ford policy.

My service advisor (Brian L) brought me through the report card and explained that everything was looking ship shape. Was done with service faster than the other dealership I had went to before. Nick Burns was curtious and straight forward through out the buying process. His knowledge regarding the vehicles was impressive. He was patient and able to tap into my needs, concerns and wants which resulted in an enjoyable experiance. All the employees we had contact with were friendly.
