Bad Deal

Bought a new car which they installed accessories. A problem arose which required the accessory removal. They would not refund me the cost of the accessory! I really feel like I got taken by this dealer, and hope others will heed my warning and do not go to this dealer and get screwed like I did!

A new Avalon

This is second Toyota hybrid I purchased from Dunning. A 2008 Camry and now a 2016 Again. The Avalon is better then I expected. I had a 2012 Luxus RX350 and a little skeptical of build and the ride. Both are better then expected. We had 2012 Lexus RX to trade in. Dunning gave us very fair trade in and overall deal. A pleasure to deal with. We have almost 4000

Not your ordinary car dealer!

Dunning Toyota was a car dealer like none other we have been too. My wife and I went to Dunning based on a family recommondation to order a new 4Runner. In the past we had a Jeep and had nothing but problems with Chrystler and there service. going to Dunning was a relief. They treated us like people, not an opportunity to feel like youre being scammed or taken advantage of. When we went in to place the new order, Carol Stanley, was a superb sales women. She new about the options and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Everything was put out on the table up front and there were not hidden fees. Between the time of placing the order and recieving the SUV, she would call to keep us updated on the progress. Can say enough good about Dunning, it was like buying a car from family. Thanks again and see you for the next Toyota Purchase!

I bought my 2014 Camry from Dunning Toyota and was very appreciative of the help Carol Stanley gave me. I put her through a lot of work test driving several different models before I settled on the Camry. She was very patient with me. She did not pressure me or push cars at me. This was my second time I bought a car with her help and I hope will not be the last time. The problem is that the Camry is so reliable that it may be another 10 years before I need a new car.

John Denis was our sales person and we were extremely satisfied with his work. He was very kind, friendly and attentive to our needs throughout the whole process. He patiently showed us the inventory, explained everything that we needed to know and escorted us in test driving a few of the different cars. He also made an extra effort to accommodate some special needs that we had as newcomers to this country, and we appreciate it greatly. We definitely recommend both John Denis and Dunning Toyota to anybody interested in buying a car.

I recently totaled my 2002 Rav4. I needed a car quickly and financing would be an issue. I went to Dunning to see what they had as I got my Rav4 there. I walked in and in 2 hours I walked out with my new pre-owned vehicle with a payment I could afford. I haven't been this happy in a while. Jena was fantastic. I will never go anywhere else to purchase vehicles.

Cheaters often win but sometimes lose

The salesman was [violative content deleted]. I had a private meeting with the general manager and he promised to rectify the situation. I never checked to find out if he did so. Because of convenience, I continue to use Dunning for service but I won't be buying cars from that ignoble firm.

Did not honor the warrantee on vehicles they sold

We bought our toyota vehicle there. When we had issues with it, the service department rep Mike Buto refused to honor the warrantee. He demanded $250 payment prior to diagnosis. He claimed his techs would not get paid without payment authorization on a warrantee covered problem!!! When I refused to authorize the payment in advance on my vehicle that is covered by warrantee, he became very belligerent, impolite, and hung up the phone on me, the customer. I informed the customer service representative and emailed the owner, with no resolution so far. I will take my business else where. In fact I would rather walk, than deal with such service reps. He was rude, deceptive, dishonest, impolite and belligerent.

The best dealership we've ever worked with

My husband and I have purchased two cars from this dealership. The sales staff is friendly, helpful, and as far as we can tell, very honest (something that is extremely hard to come by these days). Every price on our sales contract was presented clearly and each additional fee/item was broken out in detail. We've never felt pushed or rushed when looking for a car at this dealership and the follow-up after the purchase has always been great. We have always felt that we were treated with respect by the sales people we've worked with and that our business has been truly appreciated. The two sales people we've worked with in the past are Kerry and Walter - both great guys.

Get Your Prius From Dunning Toyota

I looked around the area Toyota Dealers and decided to choose the one in my own back yard. The Sales Force did everything to earn my business and I was able to get my new 2008 Toyota Prius with 2 miles on it within two weeks. ( With the color, options and accessories I wanted). I had been seeing more Prius cars in Ann Arbor MI and Dunning Toyota wants to deliver them. I am very pleased with their buying process, but I did my homework and research from Edmunds.com and was ready.

I purchased my first Toyota from Dunning and it was a very good experience. They didn't have the color I wanted but they got it for me in one day. The salesman was knowledgeable and not pushy. I was introduced to Mr. Dunning who seemed genuinely sincere and concerned that my needs were taken care of. I received a fair value for my trade-in (which I had been offered much less for the previous day at a Ford dealer and it was a Ford) I would recommend this dealership to anyone considering a Toyota.
