poor service and bad attitude
Poor attitude will only get warranty work done price on battery was way to much. The only reason I bought a battery there was that I thought it was warranted and when I got to Balise it wasn't. I use to bring my Corvette there and now I don't because they always look for stuff wrong with it that isn't wrong, example tire's, $387 each 2 years ago, coolant tank $900, etc. If you bring a older car in like my 1992 corvette they look for problem on it that are not broke.
Poor Service Department
Be very careful. I recently took my new truck in for service. The service 'manager' completely disregarded my concern before they even looked at the truck. With some coaxing they agreed to look at it....I knew before I left it would be a waste of time, and....surprise, surprise they found nothing wrong. Yet, they provided me documentation of the service assessment that DID find a problem, they just chose to ignore it. When I raised my concern, they did not respond to the technical questions, but rather punted the issue to the 'customer relations' department, to evaluate my customer experience. Frankly, it was a terrible customer experience and the issue with my truck was never addressed. I would steer clear of the service department at this dealership.
Great Car Buying Experience at Balise
I just had an exceptional experience buying a new car at Balise Chevrolet in Springfield, and I am happy to have this opportunity to tell you about it. From the moment I walked into the showroom, your salespeople were attentive and polite. The salesman that I got to work with, Frank Teta, was knowledgeable and eager to satisfy my curiosity both about the cars I was looking at, and the process of making the purchase. I am not a typical customer, and my need for information went far beyond your typical what's the price, what can you do for me, what are the specs. Frank stayed with me from beginning to end, with patience and goodwill. I know that salesmen are trained to smile while working with customers, but never for a moment that I doubt that frank smile was genuine, and that he was as pleased to be sitting and engaging with me them as I was talking with him. Frank's manager was extremely is receptive to my inquiries, and I truly felt that he and Frank were conscientiously looking to create a deal that would benefit both Balise Chevrolet and me. After closing the deal and driving away in my new car, I felt better than I have ever felt at the end of such an important transaction. I absolutely know where I will be going for my next car purchase. Thank you so much.
