Wonderful service at Pride Hyundai !!!

byMargareton 07/11/2017

Let's face it, no one likes to bring their car in for repairs, even if they are for everyday wear and tear repairs. I especially hate it because I have had a horrible experience with another Hyundai dealership. However, I needed a seat belt recall fixed as well as new brakes. I am so happy we went to Pride Hyundai. Wendell addressed the issue of bakes as well as the recall. He didn't try to pressure us into any unnecessary repairs. They even vacuumed my car and washed the windshield!!! I am so happy that we found an honest repair service!!!

1 star is way to many. STAY AWAY!

bybuyerbeware22on 03/24/2016

I Would Never go there again or ever recommend. Sales manager Bill made sure of that. Even if they let him go just the fact that they would hire someone like him speaks volumes for them. Arrogant, condescending, in attack mode before meeting you. If as a customer planning to hand them $10's of thousands of your money and you enjoy being insulted and being belittled This is the place!

STAY AWAY FROM DEALERSHIP

bytaylor48on 01/17/2015

Saw a vehicle on car gurus. Called dealership. Spoke with john internet specialist. Said yes lincoln is 1400 and told me to view on pride website. And urged me to come in. Was there within 20 minutes. Decided to buy vehicle. Sales manager Jonathan state the price is now 14995 if I want the cat because they had to service it..WHAT..it chnged in 30 minutes. The best part is the salesman had told us 2 people had deposits on the car at 14000 but I could buy it tonight. Jonathan also told us john who mind you does Internet sales was unaware of the internet price change. Although at this very minute the pride website still has a pride special deal of 14000...what type of scam are they running. This shows a complete lack of integrity and customer service. Not to mention he was arguing with me with a rude arrogant tone. I asked for another manager and he said he was it and the owner was in puerto rico. STAY AWAY..I would pay more and deall with honesty and integrity.

Went to pride just looking for a car. I had heard of Hyundai being a reliable brand before but wasn't familiar with their cars. Drove a 2013 Santa Fe and Loved it! My sales person Caitlin was helpful and very friendly. She knew everything about the vehicle and I felt comfortable. The paperwork was made easy by Courtney the business manager. I would recommend Pride to anyone looking for a good deal. Thanks again !

I love this place!!!!

bystevieb6on 06/24/2013

Roy Jr was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about all of Hyundai s Products. He made the transaction transparent and easy to understand. Pride Hyundai s dealership was clean, orderly and all inventory was of the HIGHEST QUALITY!!!!! I went to many dealerships in my search for a car and NO OTHER person pampered me like Roy Jr did. I felt like I was part of the family before I even made a decision. I will recommend this dealership and Roy Jr To all of my friends and family as I know for a FACT that they will treat them as good, if not BETTER than the level of satisfaction I received with Roy Jr and Pride Hyundai Of Seekonk. THANK YOU!

Deceptive Acts & Practices

bytaxpayer1967on 12/16/2011

Bad dealer top to bottom. Its very simple. After agreeing to a purchase price with the sales manager by phone and placing a deposit on my credit card, I scheduled an appointment at the dealer. I drove 2 hours to get there, saw the car and then right away I asked to complete the sale. Then the sales manager RENEGGED ON HIS DEAL and asked for OVER $1000 more than the agreed price -- He would not honor his agreement after my pleading with him and even making a few consesssions to salvage my time. What is more infuriating is that one of the owners would not do the right thing and stand behind the agreement - rather tried using her newly learned "customer management" skills to make me go away. This dealer may have made a few hundred more on that car but will lose 10's of thousands on lost business and good will. Not smart. Stay away from this untrustworthy dealer. There are too many other dealers out there who understand what goes around comes around. Prosperity is gained through integrity and not deception.

BUYERS PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

byjgould1on 12/12/2011

I could not believe how horrible this car dealership was. I went to buy a car and when I picked the car I wanted which was a 2010 Elantra when I went to pick up the car they gave me a 2008 Elantra because they felt it was better for me. I could not believe this. Then the car had a leak in back floor and trunk. The rear view mirror fell off. The radio did not work and the wipers were horrible. I wanted another car and they refused to do that. Paul the finance manager is the worst I have ever dealt with. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. I spoke to the owner who did nothing for me. I gave them their car back and they said it would be considered a repo. Can you believe this. I am so sorry I ever went to this place and I will make sure I stay far away from Pride and I hope that other people will see this and not go there for a car. I would hate to see this happen to anyone else. Pride you should be ashamed of yourself for not caring about the consumer. I don't know why your in business.

Buyer Beware - Shop Elsewhere

byjdisanon 02/07/2011

Just a quick note of caution to anyone buying from this dealer. DON'T. I have bought many cars, from Honda's to BMW to Mercedes and this was by far the worst. A complete unsettling experience. They are dealer from years ago, [violative content deleted]. FIRST: They added a $3,950 "dealer location adjustment" to the sticker. Snuck it in on the window making a $23k Sonata sticker out at $27K!! When i finally noticed the odd price hike, they then the lied about what this actually was. I had to call another dealer while there (when they weren't looking, lol) to find out about this. It is pure fluff. They use it as a starting point for unsuspecting buyers and then negotiate down. So, you end up paying MORE than the actual sticker price, thinking you got a good deal. DO NOT PAY THIS $3,950! Tell them to remove it, be firm, and they will. SECOND: With this dealer work from the INVOICE up. THIRD: on my trade they offered $3.1k for a $6.3k kbb value trade. Told me they go by kbb. Till I showed them kbb on-line and it was $6.3k! Again they flat out lied. They ended up coming up to $5k. So, show them the kbb value of your car online and stay firm. Basically, they use every trick in the book. Try to confuse you. Throw numbers about. Scribble on a big piece of paper. Keep you there for hours till you give in. It's really a complete joke. Oh, and the place looks like a Dunkin' Donuts - dingy, cheap, dirty bathrooms, etc. Seriously, this one is a no brainer. Save yourself the time. Hyundai's are everywhere so do yourself a favor and go to another dealer.

I should have believed my eyes

byrater123on 08/10/2010

I don't know who the last guy was working with, but this place is the total pits. They can't be bothered to run some paint across the walls, the place is playing loud hip hop and rap all day, the salesmen don't know their product, sales procedures nor registration procedures. Something is always a problem. Its like dealing with the Keystone Cops. The only time anyone does anything right is when the General Manager sits on them and I think he's just biding his time until he goes somewhere else. At one time, this dealership was reliable, but under the new owners, they are no longer. Two things you shouldn't expect here: A quick registration (their RMV machine was revoked) or the truth. They will lie to you without compunction. Definitely a shifty finance manager. Right out of used car tricks central. We've enjoyed our Hyundai's in the past and this new one is very nice, but believe me, go somewhere else! I'll NEVER return to this place again. Al has left the building and so have I.

Kudos to Pride Hyundai

bybernievelivison 08/03/2010

I had been shopping for the better part of a month and after coming close to buying an Accord Coupe, I (now don't laugh) decided on a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. I had rented one a few months ago and drove round trip New Hampshire to New Jersey and found it a great ride with all the space my family needs. In the end, it was the all wheel drive (lots of snow in NH), price/value, and gas mileage (23 combined, and a true 26 mpg highway) that drove my decision. (If it wasn't for the road noise of the Accord Coupe at highway speeds, I probably would have bought one a month ago, but got turned off by it). I used Truecar.com to analyze sales data from recent sales of cars, and floated the web sites "best certified price" past a number of dealers. The majority of them politely declined asking instead for 2-3000 dollars more. One cried crocodile tears with 3 sales people/managers asking me how I could expect them to loose money. Funny, they never actually said no.. just kept looking confused as to why I would want to put them out of business. After talking to five different dealers close by, I ended up broadening my search through email. One dealer, Pride Hyundai, stood out. They replied to my emails quickly, answered my questions directly (which I found refreshing), and I liked what I heard. They bent over backwards to get my business. They had the car I wanted on their lot at a price bordering on "too good to be true". At the last minute I I decided to go for the all wheel drive which they did not have in the colors I wanted. They offered to find one for me, at BETTER than the price I asked for. It took about 8 hours for them to locate, procure, and prep the vehicle for delivery. It was late on Friday afternoon and due to traffic and such, we didn't arrive until well after normal business hours. We essentially did the deal over the internet earlier in the day including the majority of a loan application and when we arrived, all it took was about 15 minutes of reading the small print and a few signatures and we were on our way. For the third biggest purchase of my life, I was stunned by how easy the transaction was. This was in no small part due Matt Sorgman, the sales associate who helped me. I can sum up the entire experience by saying this; I drove over 2.5 hours one way to do business with him and would do it again in a heart beat. Its been three days since I purchased the vehicle and not one ounce of buyers remorse. Thanks Matt!

Buyer Beware

bylabelle1on 04/27/2008

They run ads with exceptionally low prices for cars that were already sold...they mark up each car an additional 2-3 thousand dollars; they hand you off to different people who tell you half truths...I asked 5 times "what price am I buying this car for?"...I specifically said, "I will not pay 17,000 for this car"...they assured me that I was paying 14,300 ...the answer was a half truth...It was AFTER all rebates and discounts...i.e. I did pay 17,000.....Never Again!
