Luis met and exceeded my expectations with features, cost and service, allowing me to drive away the same day. The manager, Mark, was also professional and personable. I bought a 2016 mini clubman at this dealership and had an incredibly ideal and pleasant experience. Jaysen Coffil, the salesman I was paired with, went above and beyond by going to CT to deal with registration, paid out of pocket to front the 600 dollar fees because I didn't initially have a checkbook with me.. Spent as much time making me feel comfortable, no pressure, and assisted with making sure I transferred everything over and knew how to use features in my new car. Overall, I'd recommend this dealership over any other dealership I've ever dealt with. . Jaysen should be a role model for others!

Richard Tran our salesperson was invaluable in educating my wife and I during our initial evaluation of the Mini Countryman S All4, His knowledge of the car's specifications and features, available programs and incentives, and everything in between convinced us that this was the right dealership for us. He guided us through the process of selecting the options (and there are lots of them with Mini!), leasing versus financing with professionalism and honesty. And when we selected our vehicle, he gave us a full hour introduction in how to use all of the cars features. Truly the best care buying experience I've ever had!

Everything positive and easy from start to finish. Our salesperson, Rich Tran, was pleasant and knowledgeable-terrific at explaining all features of my new Mini. The sales manager, Frank Rogers, even helped my husband with his new car-which wasn't even a Mini! Rich has called twice to make sure that I don't have any questions about my car. Dealing with Rich and Frank at Mini of Peabody has been a very pleasant experience, and we're looking forward to a continued relationship with them.

Same Day Service

This is my 2nd Mini, and when the "get attention" lights came on I just dropped by to see when I could get my car looked at. I didn't expect same day service at 11:30 when I pulled in, but that's exactly what I got! It included a shuttle ride to the mall, the best hot strong coffee while I kept the driver waiting (didn't mean to!) and a clean road-ready car in a few short hours. Mark Spanoghe was the service advisor who made everything happen and kept me informed of the time and cost. I love my Mini and appreciate the attention I and my car received.

Runs like new

I went in for a check engine light and Nick was of great help. I had planned to leave my car there all day anyway, so Nick called within a couple hours to let me know what the care needed, what was covered under warranty and what was not covered. He called back when another issue was found and ensured I understood and wanted that work done too. Given the amount of work, Nick was nice enough to provide a 10% discount saving me at least some money. Since taking the car home with the work done, it runs like new. In addition, Nick and anyone else I spoke with was professional, friendly and made sure I was being helped. I'm a very happy "MINI" customer.

I bought this car in Massachusetts and moved to Maine. There is no Mini dealership in Maine (wish they'd open one!) and a "drivetrain malfunction" light came on. I arranged to bring it in and requested a loaner car. The work needed was more extensive than expected (under warranty), so they allowed me to keep the loaner car for 2 trips back and forth to ME, over 600 miles. The work was done satisfactorily. I am afraid I have a lemon, but that complaint is with MINI USA. The dealership is great.

I have been "stalking" Mini of Peabody for over 2.5 years, because financially, I wasn't ready to commit to a Mini. I had started the search at Herb Chambers, but was really put off by their lack of solid customer service. Mini of Peabody was a refreshing change. I was warmly welcomed by Luis V. and over the course of the two years that I spent going back and forth with my plans, he was always there to offer me advice and never ever bothered me with phone-calls or emails in the meantime. He was the perfect salesperson for me. I ended up purchasing my car 3 weeks ago and I just couldn't be happier! It's so much fun and I feel really good about my purchase with Mini of Peabody. I worked with Luis and with Joel and they were really great! Luis was warm, professional, knowledgeable and not your typical salesperson. He was a wonderful listener. He was laid back and non-aggressive and had so much confidence in the product, that he didn't need to be pushy. He was absolutely lovely! And Joel was very transparent, genuine and again, seemed to be truly interested in what was best for me. I can't speak highly enough about the experience and I am beyond excited with the car! Don't even bother with other dealerships. Mini of Peabody is it.

Having always wanted a MINI S turbo we did our research and visited MINI of Peabody and were greated by a pleasanbt sales staff who without pressure told us the differences between the models and gave us a brand new demo to take out for our first MINI experience. There was no pressure, an extremely informative staff, and hassle-free buying. We have continued with them for service and their team is well-versed and exceptional at diagnosing their cars.

Do Not Go Here!

Although the $100 Mini of Peabody offers for every referral is tempting, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership. There are countless dealerships in the area, go to any of them or buy from craigslist or ebay! The customer service here is atrocious. I recently purchased a 2013 Mini and told my salesman, Luis, that I worked for the government and would be stationed in Europe starting in April, which is why I wanted the Mini because it’s practical for Europe. Despite stating this, neither Luis nor the finance staff thought it important to tell me that Mini would not let me take the car abroad if I still owed money. I have to refinance through USAA because they will allow me to take the car overseas. When I told Luis I was upset that I wasn’t told this initially he replied that I never said I planned to take the car with me because otherwise he wouldn’t have recommended I finance through Mini or that I even buy the car. His response is a lie. We had conversations about why I thought the car was good for Europe and yet he didn’t say anything. Unless he didn’t listen to anything I said, there’s no way he didn’t know I was taking the car abroad. He further told me, “Common sense dictates that [I] had all the details worked out” about my move to Europe and whether I could bring the car. As nice as it is to not only be lied to, but to also have the salesman question my level of intelligence, which is the basis for sound customer service, I would think common sense should dictate that when I say I want to bring my car abroad, and the salesman knows it violates the loan agreement, I should be told. Further, he made no attempt to rectify the situation – no offer of “let’s look into other financing options” – he just lied and insulted my lack of common sense. I reached out to the sales manager who apologized for the inconvenience and asked to speak to me about it over the phone the next day. I gave him my number and available times; I also said I could call him if it would be more convenient and to let me know. I received no response and no phone call – the kind of stellar customer service one expects after purchasing a $20,000+ car. I can’t speak for all the salespeople, but I had a horrible experience. I was misled, lied to, and then ignored. I recognize my situation doesn’t apply to many people, but car buying can be stressful enough as is without having to worry whether the salesman is even remotely concerned about your interests after you sign the loan. Again, they were very nice while I was buying the car, but once I signed the loan the wheels pretty much fell off the customer service wagon. If you don’t care about customer service or being treated with respect then I suppose it’s fine to go here. Personally, I do not recommend buying a car from this dealership and if you do I hope for your sake nothing goes wrong because then you’re screwed.

Good service but the price for it is very high

The service on our Mini was first rate. They were fast and the work was well done. Unfortunately, our Mini has had so many problems that we could no longer afford the dealer. A brake job was quoted at $1,800. A local brake place did it for $540. The first transmission went out at 10K, but they had it on the road again in 2 days. Unfortunately, by the time transmissions #2 and #3 failed, the price of the work was simply too high. But if you have money, the place is clean, friendly, and does good work.
