Mike Richards is a forthright salesman, and did his best to get us the vehicle with the options we wanted. Unlike other dealerships, there was no game playing, no endless "see my manager"routine.

Very friendly sales staff, but do your research.

The initial sales experience was a bit rocky. While the sales agent was friendly, and not pushy, I later learned that the vehicle I purchased (a 2017 Chevy Traverse) could not tow the listed 5500 pounds unless the tow package was pre-installed from factory. When I went to get a quote for having the tow hitch kit put in 3 weeks later is when I learned I bought the wrong vehicle. Without the full tow package, a trailer hitch on the Traverse is limited to 2000 pounds towing capacity. This caused me a tremendous amount of stress because I try to keep a new vehicle for 10+ years, and the lower towing capacity would limit the overall utility of the vehicle. The initial options given to me were not very attractive. But after working with them, we were able to get to a decent compromise. It's only because of their efforts to make things better that I gave a 4 star rating. I would have scored much lower if not for that. I thankfully can recommend them again to friends and family, but with the caveat that you should do your own research, and confirm things that are most important to you before purchasing a specific vehicle. Their service department is quite good. I've been going to them for 11 years for maintenance and repairs on my previous Chevy vehicle, and my wife's Saturn vehicle since Saturn closed shop.

Credit to Ron where it is due

I felt it was necessary alert the public about my experience at Lannan Chevy of Lowell. All I really want to say is that whoever I spoke with on the phone denied me pretty much, and turned me away I'm assuming because they were busy. When I walked in an hour later it was completely a madhouse. However, even with that said, a service advisor Ron assured me the amount of cars won't determine my wait. It hasn't been my first visit and I know I had no appointment scheduled, so I planned for a long wait as usual with this place. Not even close. Maybe it did take a while I don't member because I was constantly updated by Ron as time went on. Meeting me at the door, shaking my hand, and being a genuine breath of fresh air didn't make the wait as long as it was, which truly was not long as I initially suggested. It seems like a entire different atmosphere there and Ron was a gem. I will remain a regular there and hope people understand the service Ron had provided with the service on my car iced the cake for me and my decision in choosing where to have my cars done. Love you people!!

Firstly I would recommend this place to get your servicing done on time but recently I gave my car for servicing at this location and in my notes section I mentioned that by brakes were making squeaking sound and it's irritating so could you guys please look into it. I picked up my car next day hoping that this issue must be resolved but to my surprise it wasn't. I would have given the servicing department a 5 star but after incident i'll go with 3 or 2.

Amazing experience

I knew when I saw my name--MY name--on the whiteboard right when I walked in that this was not going to be a typical car buying experience. The young lady at the desk (I wish I remembered her name) immediately made me feel welcome. I knew exactly which car I wanted when I walked in and Tony had it ready and waiting for me. He was wonderful, very personable and polite. He didn't try to pressure me into something I didn't want. Mark was great to deal with as well. He was very thorough about explaining all the paperwork and didn't mind answering questions I had. The day I picked up my car, my daughter Kayla came in with me and leased a car as well. Again, Tony was very polite and patient and worked very hard to make sure the financial end was to her liking. No way I will go anywhere else.

Urgent Service Needed

I called first to say I had a dead battery. Through the Chevy Roadside Service I was able to get my car in right away. (Chevy Service is phenomenal). Even though the garage was busy they took me at once and ran a thorough diagnostic test on the entire car to make sure nothing else was wrong. They replaced the battery and I was good to go. They made sure I had a ride to work and back. They were helpful and concerned. Couldn't be happier with Lannan

I bought a 2013 Silverado onTuesday and that Friday I brought it in to have the charging system checked, turns out it needed a new alternator. Everyone was prompt and courteous, I was provided with a loaner car and had my truck back the same day. Couldn't ask for more.

This is our 2nd vehicle purchased at this dealership. Both times have been effortless on our part as we stated what we wanted, how quickly we needed it to happen (as we had very little time) and Steve and team took care of us to make it happen...stress free. We felt valued as customers and we were not treated like a commission as at other dealerships much closer to home. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone, as we ourselves will return again for our next vehicles. Took me right in without an appointment and arranged for a rental car because the repairs would take all day. The work was under warranty from a prior repair three weeks earlier. Worked out well but I would have like for the dealership to have paid for the rental insurance. Since I was not renting it my credit card would not cover the insurance.

Jimmy T. was excellent! I was deciding between buying out my old lease or getting into a new lease. I explained what exactly I was looking for in terms of price and options and Jimmy did an excellent job of listening to me and trying to work to get me what I was looking for. This no nonsense approach is what allowed us to make a deal very quickly. I would certainly go back to Lannan and work with Jimmy again.
