Sold me a car with break issues

Purchased a Hyundai in May 2017. Both front and back calipers and pads need to be replaced after only 5,000 miles. Talked with Dan and he said they will take a look at it, but I was responsible for all charges for replacing them. This tells me that they were really helpful and kind in selling me the vehicle, but they are not interested in my business in the long term. Herb Conolly Hyundai has a shop where they are supposed to check every they sell before they sell them. It seems to me they want to maximize their profits on the back of customers. Selling a car that needs more than a $1000 in repairs after 4 months is unethical and bad business. Buyer, be aware.

Wens was undoubtedly the best salesperson I have encountered. I was not expecting to buy a car that day, but because he was such an amazing employee, I drove out with a brand new car. Unfortunately you were closed but he returned my call on Monday. The problem seems to be resolved but I appreciate the fact he returned my call so promptly. I would definitely recommend your service

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I wish I could rate this place ZERO stars but it is not an option :( . I had my car serviced at this Hyundai for the first time ever. Prior to leaving my vehicle I had a professional camera which I tucked under my passenger seat so it wasn't easily visible. After I picked up my car I had checked my car for my camera and it was gone. I contacted Herb Connolly Hyundai and the service manager was so rude and once I stated I wanted to talk to the GM, and he changed his tune. He stated he would have someone other than the GM of that location contact me, the person that would call me was part owner. I received a call from the "part owner" and he stated that he would ask his employees if anyone had taken the camera. Which in all reality who would willingly admit to stealing a camera out of a customer’s car, no one. So that was pointless and the result of the conversation ended in, well pretty much you are S.O.L. I received an email shortly after with a "gift" of free Sirius XM for 2 months, for my troubles. I have always gone to HERB CHAMBERS HYUNDAI and I had never ever had an issue there and 9/10 I've had my camera under the seat. Needless to say I will never ever be returning here and I will let everyone I know hear about my story so they don't get robbed for going to this location. All I can say is that if you decide to go to this location take all your valuable belongings with you because not even hiding them will prevent sticky fingers

This dealership experience met and exceeded my highest expectations of employees with competency in all aspects of service provider skills and talents in a comfortable and very relaxed expedited and convenient sale of my car. I had nothing but good vibes and I'm extremely satisfied with Nick LaRochelle, Wens Prophete, and the sales promotions/warranties offered by Hyundai. I consider myself an expert in sales marketing and customer service as far as being a consumer of cars and I would like to congratulate Hyundai of Framingham on your excellent attention to detail on selling my car to me with a very honest and very easy car buying experience. I understand that everyone's experience might be different depending on their needs but I really feel like the majority of people who read only inventory information on a car and come to test drive and discuss business have a very welcoming, timely, virtuous and courteous approach to selling my car to me. I am glad that I went with buying from Hyundai of Framingham and I am very much looking forward to my next car buying experience and I've already highly recommended Hyundai of Framingham to atleast two dozen of my friends and family. It's nice to know that when you need something, your going to be able to get it very straight forward and very comfortable from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Very kind of Wens and Nick to have offered amenities to us for being customers and I'm very impressed with the green solar panel statistics monitoring and the responsiveness of the financial team was excellent. 5 star dealer without a doubt. Worst experience

I’m going to do something I hate doing – leave a negative review. But sometimes this is the only resource the consumer has. In fact, I would have given them a 0 if there was such rating, while it could have so easily been a 5… So here we go. I first contacted this dealership by sending them a message through their website. I provided all the details of my trade, and asked if my desired vehicle was available. It took them 4 emails and 2 days to just let me know that it was. So I came in the next morning, was greeted nicely by the salesperson Yanis. He didn’t really have to sell me the car, since it was the best deal in the area, and I knew I was buying it. We closed pretty quickly. It’s not the sale process, it’s what happens after the sale that shows their true face. So the dealership is in MA and I live in NH. MA dealerships do not provide temporary license plate, so I couldn’t take the car the same day. With Xmas holidays in between and their runner being unavailable, they delivered me the car 4 days later. They charged me $200 for the delivery. The very moment I saw the car, before I even touched it, I noticed a problem that wasn’t there when I test drove it: the long panel underneath the front passenger door was detached and loose. It wasn’t something severe, but this is a CPO vehicle that should not have such problems. I showed it to the runner, took photos and sent to the salesperson, requesting that they cover the repair. I still accepted the car in good faith that the dealership would take care of this mishap. Silly me… My email wasn’t answered that day. The next day I text the salesperson. He says he didn’t receive my email. He double-checks and finds it in the spam box. Of course, all the previous communication was fine, but the email with a problem mysteriously went into the spam box. Anyway, no answer for another week, so I text him again. He says, “my manager will not be taking care of this situation since the vehicle was not that way when we gave it to you.” I text him back saying I took the photos before I even touched the car, that the runner is a live witness and they should ask him. The answer is, “we will not be taking care of the repair”. He suggested that I contact his manager directly, but I didn’t want to do that. When I was still in the dealership, I had asked the salesperson about the Blue Link complimentary subscription. He said that I had to call the Blue Link customer service to activate it, which I did after a received the car. Surprise-surprise, the customer service tells me that only the dealership can activate it for me. My email to the salesperson about this was never answered either. I contacted Autofair Hyundai in Manchester NH, and they (salesperson named Doug) activated my subscription without a problem. After all this, I texted my salesperson to let him know that I was going to leave detailed reviews everywhere. I thought maybe they would now want to own and take care of the problem. His answer very nicely summarizes my whole experience: “I cannot please everyone”.

Long story short, I'm paying $800 to get my car to pass inspection. They also over charged me in random documentation fees. Extremely saddened and disappointed in this dealership. Don't buy here, and if you do, the first thing you do is bring it to your own mechanic. Or even better, bring one with you. They will sell you a car that isn't safe. I was so excited for my very first car, that I just said ok! everything looks great. Then the inspection came and all hell broke loose when the dealership said to "call the warranty" you bought on it because it's not our problem anymore.

They have never advised service to be performed that was not needed and they are very fair with what they charge compared to most dealerships I have had experience with. We have been utilizing Herb Connolly Service since our first Sonata in 2007 and continue the relationship to this day with our 2011 Sonata. For all types of repairs and service, we know they will ensure quality work and any recommendations they have for any additional work are brought to our attention and ONLY done if we agree. We never feel pressured and appreciate the free car wash and vacuum as well as the pleasant waiting area amenities.

I bought my Genesis Coupe from Herb Connolly Hyundai 3 years ago. The sales experience was as good as it gets when buying a new car. Wens P was informed about the cars he was selling and didn't pressure me. So I bought one. Now I have the car serviced there. The service department employees are pleasant and informed. The service has always been economical and quick. And, one time I needed to leave the car there to be detailed, so they provided me with a loaner car. Very convenient. Ill keep going there for my service needs, and I may buy another car from them also. I Just have to wait and see what Hyundai does to the 2015 or 2016 Genesis Coupe. Should be some big changes I hear.
