by Leah on 07/26/2024I recently called in about a vehicle I was interested in. The first man who I spoke with was kind and took note of what I wanted. Salesman Randy returned my call. I knew upon talking to him, I was going to be given a "car salesman" pitch. I… let him know what vehicle I was interested in. he returned my call with the numbers. I asked him for his BEST out the door price, and explained the week before I dealt with a dealership who gave me their best price, then dropped it $1,000 the next day. When Randy called me back again, he was more concerned with tacking on dealership "extras". I kindly replied I did not want any of the extras, I just wanted his best number. He still tried to sell me the paint protection, to which I declined again, and he mentioned the processing fee, which I read from auto trader, and the number I read was different from the number he stated. I sent him a text highlighting this. Hours later when he called me with the vehicle price, he told me he could not honor that number. It was a $300 difference. I did ask for a better deal and he was adamant, this was it. I asked for him to honor the processing fee multiple times, and he refused. The next morning, I woke up and was looking at vehicles and noticed, this dealership dropped the price of the vehicle $500, less than 24 hours after I asked for the best deal. I sent Randy an email, expressing how this was so disappointing. I'm assuming he forwarded it to his internet sales manager, as she replied, "she could've simply asked for us to honor the price now but she rather leave a review". I think this was meant for Randy, but she sent it to me instead. No one wants to deal with most car salesman, as it's always a hassle and a process especially, when you find a car, you really like and it is 4+ hours away. I do not like when my character is being questioned and this is exactly how I feel, after the email i received from the sales manager. Totally frustrating experience!

First impressions are very important. Callers and customers begin to form their impression of the… Ford brand, especially the dealership located in Waldorf. The customer service and impeccable service has a direct reflection on the ownership, employees, and management, from the top to the bottom. Superior customer service is everything. So, yes, I did receive very good service. Craig Burgess and David Bell are always very friendly, courteous, polite, well-mannered, and showcase their professionalism and professional presence. That's the Ford way and the Ford brand. It identifies who you are, what you are, and how you do business. When your employees have these star qualities and sterling attributes, it speaks volumes. It sets you above the competition, especially when you tell the truth, treat the customer with dignity and respect, and honor commitments. Anyone can sell cars, however, here's the thing - will they come back to buy a car or truck the second time around if you don't have those star qualities and the trust factor. I have purchased 3 or 4 Ford vehicles because I like the customer service and the way Ford does business. When you change the way you do business and don't represent your bran and name as absolute and trustworthy committed, then I will have to say bye-bye. I have been to the Jeep dealership and it was a waste of my time. Where are all those star qualities and attributes. Don't sell me a car and don't represent your first impression - Your Brand and Your Name. Your impeccable customer service and professionalism may seem like nothing, but this creates for me (the customer) a positive memory and a lasting one. Ford values their customers and takes pride in providing impeccable customer and conduct themselves with class in a highly visible and demanding business environment. Just let me know when you decide to not represent your brand as top-notch anymore so I can find out if Honda, Lexus, and any of the other tough competitors can stand and deliver on their star quality and sterling attributes that can't be overlooked or downplayed. BTW - did the dealership complete the work within the timeframe promised? The parts came in late and I had to wait a little bit, not too much. Craig and David were pleasant and made the situation tolerable and displayed good attitudes. Perhaps the process of delivery can be made a priority. Cars are like IPhones, we can't be without it. If that makes sense.Good service

by mslamme on 06/03/2016The dealer ship always responds fairly quickly and does the work. my main experience is strange parts have neede to be replaced at very large costs. these things I am sure the manufacture could have been able to look into as defective but… I nerve get that kind of help from your Customer service agents. I also bring my edge in for all check ups yet they said nothing about my brakes being low and the following check up I not only need brakes and rotters. alomost everytime I have used you it's been well over $1000.00. I am in the market for a new vehicle now and with these customer service experiences I don't plan on being amreturn customer. by FiveFORDs on 04/13/2016This was the sort of auto service that most people probably dread -- annoying, the intermittent electronic problem! Not an issue with the great Service Department at Waldorf Ford. My Fusion Hybrid has both blind-spot and rear hazard… warning. Recently the speaker that goes "beep-beep-beep" had begun to sound more like a sick crow, and then not bothering to chirp at all. More irritating, the warning on the dashboard that something was amiss had become a flashing beacon. I thought this would be hard, but Dave B. in Service listened attentively when I first described the problem and I was delighted when the response was a confident "we've seen things like this before, you're probably correct about the cause, bring it in". Sure enough, the system didn't "like" that one small speaker not playing well with the rest of the technology, they had the part in stock, and the issue solved in a couple of hours (it's NOT an easy speaker to get to). Problem solved, as I've come to expect!Excellent service

I have had many difficulties in my life and my family helped me by purchasing the new car. Fred knew the situation… and although I was struggling by needing help from my family, Fred helped me feel more at ease.
