Dont trust,

purchased a vehicle only to find out that it had frame damages during a trade in process that they failed to mention ,also they added this information on the notice to buyer form before submitting to MVA which I never received in my document package. they hand write most of the information on the form so they can do this type of stuff to people. MVA confirmed this action has been done multiple times by this company, but with your signature signed ,it's nothing they can do. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE !!!!!!!!!! National Motors will get you years later you will find out if you don't get the form Called "NOTICE TO BUYER"

Don't Buy Your Car From Here!

I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima from National Motors Inc on Friday, March 2, 2018. A salesman named Roger assisted me. My car completely shut off in the middle of the road while driving the very next day. That following Monday I took the car back to the dealership to let their service manager Jorge work on my car. He advised me that 2 sensors were broken and after fixing them that my car would be fine. I left the dealership that day (March 5, 2018) and the car shut off on me again the next day (Tuesday March 6, 2018) while I was driving my kids to school. I called the dealership and requested a refund. I lost allot of time at work causing me to miss money. The manager Kenneth was very rude to me and my father. Yelling at me and refusing to refund my money. I then began to do research through carfax. I found out that the Nissan dealer that performed the last inspection instructed National Motors to replace the transmission, which they knew about and didn't. I also found out that the company who did the Maryland State inspection advised National Motors that during the inspection that the car was stalling but they still sold me the car knowing this. After allot of back and forth they replaced the transmission. I took my car to an actual Nissan dealership who advised me national motors did not install my transmission correctly. I then had to take my car to Nissan to get fixed. Nissan then advised me that I needed a new key fob, which National Motors agreed to fix. I've called them three weeks straight to get my key fixed and their finance manager Robert told me no they aren't replacing my key, after the new service manager Brandon already said he would. Robert was very rude and yelling at me on the phone and even hung up on me. To this day Im still going back and forth with them to get my key fixed. After they lied about having 2 keys for my car.

Unsafe Work Completed

I purchased a 2002 Jaguar convertible with the agreement that the airbags must be functioning for safety reasons. The airbag warning light was on during the test drive. They agreed that a safe car would be delivered to me. After they worked on the car and said they even took it to another location to find out what was wrong with the airbag before ordering the part and then fixing it, it was not fixed. They may have worked on the passenger airbag as explained but a side airbag is also not working. They then FIXED it by REMOVING the bulb that indicated that there was an airbag malfunction. They told me it was fixed. The car then started beeping and airbag alert on the way home from the dealership. They indicated everything was fine with it and had no idea why the alert was sounding. I took it to the local Jag dealership and had their jaguar mechanic look at it. Not only was he able to quickly tell me that the bulb had been removed but that the system showed that a side airbag was not working and could impact the functionality of all of airbag system as an entire system. I contact two people at the dealership yesterday after finding this out and no one has had the courtesy to contact me. Never again!

was happy with my purchase but now disappointed

I had been searching for a car and came across National Motors as they had a wide range of pricing and great selection plus with a recent credit problem they were able to help get me financed. I purchased a 2011 BMW 550i and was happy with the car for two days until the check engine and transmission lights came on and the car went into safe mode. After restarting the car the problem was cleared until the next morning when it happened again. I contacted my sales rep and he put me in touch with the mechanic for the company. After a brief conversation he asked for me to get the car to them so they could fix it. The car was un-drivable so i had to have it towed at my expense for them to diagnose and hopefully repair. After a few days i received a call that the car was fixed and that the computer had to be reset. As i live to far away i had the car towed back to me, again at my expense. The car seemed fine for a week until the problem happened again, once again i contacted my sales rep and then the mechanic. i was told that he had reset the computer and that he was unsure why it was happening and that i may have to take it to BMW for them to look at the car as it may be a more in depth problem. This was unsettling as i have only had the car for less than 30 days and that they (National Motors) were not going to stand behind the product they sold. I took my car to a BMW specialist who ran a diagnoses and told me of many problems with the car. It need new plugs, coil-packs, tune up, 02 sensors, the system was failing because it needed to be reprogrammed and would consistently fail and go into fail safe mode and that doing these items should help. I contacted the dealer and they said they were not responsible for these items and that i would have to have the repairs done at my cost. Before i could do the repairs i had to take my car through state inspection as it was due (i reside in New Jersey), the car failed inspection. I had the work done and drove the car roughly 1500 miles and took the car to be reinspected and again the car failed. I had the BMW people recheck and reset the computer and drove another 700 miles and had the car reinspected and it failed again. This is a huge problem. The car that i purchased in Maryland y law is required to pass Maryland State inspection before the car can be registered. I also know that selling a car out of state they dealer does not have to do this but the car is still by law has to pass state inspection. I recently contacted the dealership to tell them that i cant get the car passed through state inspection and was told you purchased the car AS IS and that they cant do anything, however i was promised a call by the GM. I have yet to receive a phone call. This is the responsibility of the dealer to make sure this car is able to pass state inspection. Buyer beware!

Do not buy from this dealership! Save yourself the stress and hassle! I was sold an unsafe car, went back for the same issue more than three times, and they are unwilling to help. I haven't even had the vehicle for three months yet, and most of the time it's been there "getting repaired". Most of the things that come out of them are lies. Highly do not recommend buying from here!

Mislead continually!!!! >:(

On January 29th Sam Bagha called me from an edmunds request that I had submitted. I was interested in a particular car that they had listed. Mr. Bagha then pointed me in another direction, talking up a Chrysler. After over a hour of having my credit run, being promised multiple amenities, I was told the vehicle had been sold (while he was selling it to me) then they told me I didn't qualify for a 2016 only a 2014, yet there was less than 2500 in price and we added a cosigner. Was then told 2 different stories, car is gone, then told I needed a large down payment. Was promised 0 out the door, but whatever, that is fine, I had planned on a certain amount at the time. They were to hold my check for 2 weeks in that case, their suggestion. They then kept changing the amounts of downpayment, vehicles were "sold" and others magically appeared in stock. Their final suggestion was that I buy a 2014 with nothing attached to it, bare naked no accessories for the price of the 2016 and to trade it in in a few months... I had high hope and was hoping the few negative reviews that I had read were wrong. I was disappointed to learn that they try to trick and slight of hands. THE EDMUNDS PRICING NOCKED SEVERAL HUNDRED TO SEVERAL THOUSAND OFF OF SEVERAL CARS. THE FIRST CAR WAS "SOLD" WHILE WE WERE TALKING, AFTER THAT THEY KEPT CHANGING PRICING OF DOWN PAYMENTS AND OTHER OPTIONS THAT HAD BEEN PROMISED BEFORE. WOULDN'T BE BAD IF THEY HAD DONE AS PROMISED.

I went that night and worked with her to find a vehicle that fit my needs, We ended up making a deal on the Ford Flex. The process was very easy and was treated with the utmost respect ( right down to the smoke breaks we took )Guy confirmed the financing and Anthony delivered the car. I am very happy I went there and with my purchase.

Worst appraisers for trade ins!!

I went to this dealership with the intention of trading in my car for a truck. I arrived at the dealership only to find out the truck had already been sold 3 days prior but was still listed for sale on their website. I left the dealership and the next morning I received a phone call saying they wanted to make a deal and will be transporting another truck I liked from their other location. 7 hours later I arrived at dealership and the truck still wasn’t there yet. I waited around for 2 hours for the truck to arrive. Sales associate was very nice and professional but said she played no role in the pricing negatiations on my trade in or the truck I wanted. Instead I had to wait to talk with a manager. The manager finally comes over to talk. Tells me he can give me 11k for my car because it’s not worth much and doesn’t even have a sunroof. (My car was a 2012 charger R/t fully loaded with every possible options FYI ). He appraised my car and missed the big sunroof on the car. He had an attitude the whole time for no reason. His offer was so low that I left without even trying to negotiate. I decided I was done with used car dealers and the next day I went to a dealer that sell new trucks. They appraised my car in 20 min and offered me 14k (3k more than National motors). After further negotiations I talked them up to 14.5k. I left their lot in a brand new truck very happy. Will NEVER EVER go back or recommend national motors to anybody!!!

Absolutely Crap

Bought a 2012 Sprinter, verified with the sales and he promised the car had no "Accident" like it said in the "CarFax". After I picked up the car and drove off the lot for 15 minutes, there was no coolant left in the coolant resevoir and there was smokes coming out of the hood as I drive on the High Way. Had to stop at a gas station to fill up to keep going and stop at Catonsville Mercedes Benz Dealer. Turns out there was frame damage and car had been through an accident before on the front right side of the vehicle. National Motors Claims the carfax is what they rely on and its not there fault. Question is Had they DONE their Maryland State inspection in their on Garage they would have seen many problems that lies in this car. False Advertisement. After I brought this to the sales manager and the owners attention they said it was "too bad" and that they would not accept a return. Never ever would buy here, totally crap.

Poor service c

My son and I credit was pulled. I didn't receive a positive call back on the concerns about my son and I credit. We waited for five hours I call multiple times to speak with the financial manager. There was no reply and when I did call. The person by the name of mad which was a second financial manager hung up the phone on me as I was still talking. I still receive no return phone calls at them my son and I credit was pulled and that is my livelihood as well as well as my income. Very unprofessional . This is a poor rating I'm giving, because I am unsatisfied valuable customer that should have been treated better than much better than the outcome of the results as of Saturday, July 29, You Financial manager by the name of Matt was not professional at all he refused to further services rendered to myself as a valuable customer. He hung up the phone during conversation. Gabby was the very first Financial manager that I have spoken with concerning about a trade-in for my car to a Nissan Maxima 2014. I don't appreciate my son in that credit was a pool and we was jerked around being taken for granted not to return phone calls back to relate to us what the possibilities of what's going on when a customer credit is poor that you taking points away from their credit score. I'm very upset and pissed off.

Anthony (New York Hartwell has pulled off a miracle for me once again. I brought an Infiniti FX35 early this year and it was unfortunately it was totaled out before I had chance to get enough payments under my belt to reestablish my credit. All the staff was extreamly helpful and not pushy!! Wendy and Sabrina were exceptional! Not only did they meet what I wanted to spend as far as a payment goes, they actually got it LOWER for me! To top it off, they even threw in a 2 yr. warranty because the car I bought was not supposed to have one! I was delighted with my purchase, and if given the chance, will do business with them again!!
