After being promised that we would get a better price on a vehicle that we were looking at, my husband and I went back in and they were completely dishonest. They kept the price the same and added in taxes,fees, tags, etc while saying they gave us a better price. Not only were they dishonest, they insulted our intelligence as if we couldn't see that they did not lower the price. The manager working that day was very rude and confrontational, going so far as to turn around when I was speaking to my husband and asking me what I said like he was ready to argue and get in my face. When I said I was speaking to my husband the manager said ok in an angry tone. That behavior is completely appalling and inappropriate. Thankfully we went elsewhere and received wonderful service. We bought a better vehicle from a different manufacturer and the dealership was so much better than Toyota of Glen Burnie. We will never look to shop there again.

Buy Happy Somewhere Else!

Please, if you are reading this, know that this dealership should be avoided at all costs. They are dishonest. Not only that, but they refuse to give paying customers any respect by avoiding them at the first sign of trouble. I had issues with them when buying a new car and having them payoff my old lease. They led me to believe that the amount they were paying on the lease was the full payoff amount when in reality it was short a payment. Then, once I started receiving past due bills from Toyota Financial Services (TFS), I called them and they told me that the dealer never sent in the payoff in full and the car could not be grounded. It took a couple of weeks to finally speak to salesperson about this, and when I did, he told me that I agreed to the amount that they paid and that they were not responsible for any further payments. I kept telling him that I was led to believe that they were paying off the full amount, because why in my right mind would I agree to anything short of that when trading in/buying a new car? Like a broken record he repeated himself. I asked to speak to a manager, who I was told is named Lamont Matthews. I left Lamont a voicemail. Weeks went by and I heard nothing from Lamont. I called again, left another voicemail after being told he was not in the office, or busy or something. Again, he ignored me. I left another message, and even emailed my salesperson (Tyrone Hammond, who never ever responded to me either, by the way) and still nothing. Finally, Lamont returned my phone call, and was just as helpful as the previous manager - meaning not at all. I asked him if this is how they treat paying customers, to avoid returning their calls, and to mislead them? At that point, I asked to speak to the GM (John Stefero), left him a message, and again, the same thing happened where it took many calls to the dealership before he finally gave me the common courtesy to call me back. That call also went nowhere, and all I asked was for them to make this right and pay the amount that I was understood they were paying. It was a simple misunderstanding and rather than just fix it and keep my business and give me their "BUY HAPPY" feel, they refused, blamed me and disrespected me. I will never shop at a Brown's dealership again. Buy Happy someplace else!

My experiences at Browns Toyota are always positive from the moment my car is received. Everyone is polite and professional. That being said my Advisor James Brown excells in consistently gender outstanding customer service. He's knowledge about the service and product needed for my car.I trust him totally. He always finds me the best value for my money. Overall I actually don't mind coming to Browns for service even though it cost me money. I highly recommend Browns to family and friends. As a result several friends in the last 6 months have brought cars and are using the Service department for maintenance.

We were welcomed and greeted right away by Ryan M. He even came in on his day off to ensure we had the highest quality of service. He knew of our negative experience with Waldorf Toyota and he far exceeded our expectations! Everything he offered us as far as trade-in money, matching Waldorf's deal, etc. he delivered on! That was by far our best car buying experience EVER! Our young daughter was even entertained with the dealership's playroom and toys. But her favorite was the hot chocolate! We were also impressed with the manager-There were a few gentlemen having a conversation at the front desk, their voices began to raise. The manager asked them to immediately to bring their conversation elsewhere. Those small acts are what stood out to our family. VERY IMPRESSED by the entire dealerships professionalism!

Plus, even though he could have recommended a more expensive fix for my issue, he recommended the more moderately priced fix, and explained that it would remedy the problem just as effectively as something more expensive.

Service representative Jason Briton was very knowledgeable on the best service required for my vehicle. He focused on making sure I was well taken care of since my vehicle had to stay overnight. He arranged a rental car. I was also very surprised about the special offer for replacement tires being offered. I have never seen a dealers price beat Internet prices before.
