Rear brake replacement and 120K mile service experience

Everything was fine and the people were all nice. The only thing is that when I bought that 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Bob Bell in 2009, the sales people said when you need car repairs Bob Bell would give you a car loaner. That has only happened once since I owned it. I have had to rent a car so I can go to work or take a day of leave either way a bit expensive. I would have thought that if a service request like what I got which was over $1000.00, Ford might see it to either pay for the rental or give a loaner. A nice thing is that now the rental place is literally just a short walk away across the parking lot which is a lot better than the Enterprise cars I had to rent up North of Bob Bell and shuttle back and forth.

The best experience ever

I had a little glitch with my Ford Explorer and called Bob Bell to have it fixed. They sent a tow truck that showed up very quickly and had the problem fixed in less than two hours. I just love their service and efficiency.

I was driving from NC to NY when my truck broke down on the highway in Baltimore. Everyone at Bob Bell Ford was helpful and understanding to my situation. The work on my truck was expedited so I could get back on the road again. The work was great and the prices were even better! They even let me bring all of my stuff and my dog inside with me while I waited for my truck!

Service was good, fairly fast for the work done, very pricey for an oil change. Poor guy next to me had to wait 4 hours for a part the was shipped to the wrong place then had to send someone there to get it. Luckily for the dealer I was never given a time frame and neither was he.

I walked in without an appointment and the writer greeted me but asked if I had an appointment. I said no I didn't think I had to make on for the re-call. He said normally they make you have an appointment. I asked if he could do my bus, I didn't need it back until that Friday (it was Tuesday). He seemed a little rude by saying usually you are on a time restraint. I told him nope, the kids are out of school, I just need it back by Friday in time for next week's bus runs. He was able to get in done in 24 hours. When I picked up the bus, he was very helpful. I work for a corporation and each center is different. I understand the car business since my husband works at a dealership. So I waited to get the van serviced to give the dealer time. If I needed the small window of 10-2. I would have made a 10am appointment!

Pouring rain

The service on my car was fine, though no one explained if everything else was ok with the car and it didn't really say on the form. Also I dropped my car off at the one department. When I went to pick it up I was told it was on the other side of the lot at the other service department. Normally this would have not been an issue but it was pouring down rain and there was no way to transport me to the other department. I was completely drenched by the time that I got over there. It would have been nice if they could have either had my car brought to me or had some way of getting me to the other service area that did not include me walking through the pouring rain.

12/5/16 - I am very pleased with the quality of the repair on my vehicle. The Service Advisor, David Nock was great. I was provided with a "free" rental car for the two days that it took to complete the work which certainly helped ease the inconvenience of being without your vehicle. I would appreciate a little more attention to detail though each time I visit the dealership - My truck was low on "DEF" when I picked it up and had to add 2.5 gallons on my own that evening. A simple check on all fluids each visit would be appreciated! Thank you!
