Contacted CriswelI Chevy over the internet and after a few days of talking I took a chance and drove 3 hours to the dealership from Virginia. I am so glad I did. Unarguably the best car buying experience in my life. The entire staff was professional and courteous. I didn't feel pressured at any point, but did feel like a valued customer. Ultimately, I was able to purchase the exact vehicle I wanted, at a price I am satisfied with, without all the sales gimmicks. I have always owned GM vehicles and thanks to them I have remained apart of the GM/ Onstar family. I read a few of the other positive reviews listed here and I can attest to to the similar experiences. If you are reading this give them a chance to earn your business, you will not regret it. If possible I will pass the local dealerships and return for my service and future car buying needs. I have already been sharing my experience and recommending the dealership to friends and family.
STAY AWAY! Specially service center! Dealer service is expensive and there mechanics are not qualified. I was buying a car from a private owner and took the car there to get multipoint insepection. They passed the multipoint inspection so I decided to buy the car and then after one week I found a leak. Took it to another dealer to find three different leaks in the car. Most likely they did not even put the car on the lift. They denied that there were leaks when they checked the car where the other dealer told that this leak is been there for sometimes. Then they quoted me 2200$ to fix the issue where both Rockville Chevy and Fitz Chevy quoted me 1500$.
They ruined my Corvette
I originally bought my car into Criswell to get an oil change on August 4, 2016. There was nothing wrong with my car before I bought it into the dealership. The car is in near mint condition, garage kept, and hardly driven. When Criswell looked at my car, they started recommending a couple of things that needed repair. They informed me that I had a power steering hose that needed repair and a transmission leak. For the transmission leak to be repair they informed me that they needed to take the entire transmission out of my car which would be a 12-hour labor job, with parts and labor it would cost me 1853.81 + tax. Therefore, I took their recommendation and had them fix my power steering and transmission leak and also had them change my oil. The total bill was $2455.65. They also recommended I change my tires but I declined at the time. My car was picked up on August 11, 2016. Since I hardly drive the car, I started driving it a few weeks later and started noticing an intermittent grinding, rubbing sound coming from the transmission when I drove the car. Therefore, I took the car back to the dealership for them to take a look at the noise that was coming from my transmission and also for them to change my tires and get a front end alignment on Oct 14, 2016. They took a look at the car and informed me that they did not hear a sound from the car. Therefore, I went to the dealership to pick up the car on Oct 18, 2016 and started driving it off their lot when the sound started happening again when I pulled out of the dealership. I promptly bought it back and complained. They had the mechanic ride with me in the car to diagnose the sound and he admitted that there was a sound coming from the transmission area of the car. However, for them to fully diagnose the grinding sound coming from the transmission, they had to charge me over $1500 dollars in labor again to pull the transmission out of the car to see what was wrong with it. Otherwise the Customer Service Representative told me that I can continue to drive the car until the sound gets worse. In any event, I would have to pay to get the transmission taken out a second time for an issue they caused. So now they are trying to double charge me for labor to fix an issue that they caused since the sound was never there when I originally bought the car in. I do not think it's fair for me to pay for labor again for them to find out and fix an issue that they caused. They should own up to their work and warranty their repairs instead of charging me again for labor just to diagnose the issue. My car had no issues when I bought it in and now after they serviced it, it has a grinding noise that is potentially damaging my car every time it's driven.

If I could give 10 stars I would! There are no words to express my gratitude to this dealership! I live about 90 miles away from Criswell Chevrolet but they were one of the few dealerships that had a good selection of vehicles. I went to them because they had a reasonably priced Silverado with some of the features we were looking for. We talked through things for about a week up until yesterday and I was astounded by the pricing, professionalism, and courteous manner of all their employees we interacted with. Alex S. is absolutely phenomenal and a stellar salesman. There was no high pressure sales tactics, I initiated every discussion with him. I was a bit nervous driving that distance with check in hand and kids in tow but there was nothing to fear. No bait and switch, no hidden fees, etc. We actually saved nearly $300 more in those 90 miles. Steve, the finance guy truly has your best interest in mind. He did his job with absolute professionalism - asked me about my financing, when he found out my rate that was the end of the discussion. He did not attempt to sway me in favor of the manufacturer. He offered all the extra protections, asked me once in person. Explained what they were and left the decisions to us. Even if you aren't in the market for a new vehicle, stop in there... they proudly wave the gigantic American Flag, and if the rows of in stock corvettes do not impress upon you how great they are just talk to any employee in there and you'll know right away you're in good hands! Thank you so much Criswell, I'll be back for my Camaro some day and I'll know you'll still be there and you'll take care of me!

First i would like to say this was a very professional dealership. Mr. Mazen Muhtaseb was a kind and helpful man who i think really looked out for me. The whole dealership seemed kind and upstanding. I still think that they did more than i deserved to help me get the car I've always wanted. I could honestly write a essay on this dealership. There are few dealerships I would like to go back to as much as this one. I didn't have to write this review but i truly thought Mr. Mazen and the team helped me. I want to thank them again and i hope to come into contact with them again.

Stay far away from Criswell
I make it a point to never write reviews. Only writing this one because of how poorly I was treated. I was promised some items forgotten about at sales time would be taken care of. Months later they are still not resolved. Once they got my signature they stop caring. Over and over I was told how it was my problem and if I had just asked the right person. I see it differently. They owe a service, and you should have to jump through hoops to get what's needed. I will never use them again for sales or service. Only car [non-permissible content removed] can operate like this and stay in business.
Corvette Z51 Factory Order with Mike Furman A++++
Taking delivery of a new Corvette is an incredible experience, that can go south really quick if you're not dealing with a professional. Mike Furman is one of those rare individuals that not only knows everything there is to know about a) the Corvette, but b) the complete factory order and buying process. My wife and I called up Mike 2 months ago to place our factory order a 2016 Corvette Z51 2LT. At the time there were a few constraints, but being the nation's #1 salesman, Mike has the allocations. He assured me there would be no problem whatsoever and was able to have our car ready for us to take delivery exactly when he said. We flew down from New York and Mike gave us the royal treatment, showing us all we'd need to know about our new car and even gave us photos of the delivery. While at Criswell, we also spent some time with Jackie who helped us through the exciting, albeit scary paper signing. She made it comfortable and helped explain any and all questions we had. Would highly recommend speaking with Jackie if you're thinking about financing. Mike, Jackie and the entire staff at Criswell can't be beat. No matter where you are in the country, you ought to consider ordering your new Corvette (or any Chevrolet for that matter) through them. Highly recommended!
Top Notch Sales! Peter is Great!!
Peter Eaton at Criswell went hands down above and beyond my expectations! I initially drove over an hour and a half just because of their inventory, and had no idea that I was walking into one of the most proficient, professional, understanding atmospheres. Having been to 10-15 dealerships in search of the "perfect" vehicle, I have had a lot of recent experience with auto sales and honestly by the time I got to Criswell I was in a "whatever happens happens" mindset all due to the lack of customer service and willingness to help from previous dealers. Peter hands down earned my business and changed my attitude! He without hesitation cleaned up two trucks that I was so indecisive about so I could see both. Once I finally decided Peter got all of the paperwork prepared prior to our arrival which saved so much time and we were in and out just like that!! He has remarkable patience and truly cares and hears what his customers are saying. We live in a world were customer service is declining, and I feel positive expieriences often go unrecognized because people are more eager to repore on the negative. I can 110% say I have nothing negative to say about this dealership. I will be recommending Peter to all of my connections. Smooth and easy
My wife and I drove to Criswell from the East Coast of VA to pick up our 18th Corvette from the number 1 Corvette salesman in America. Mike Furman is a man who makes no excuses and delivers the goods. We bought our last Corvette at Kerbeck in New Jersey, a 2014 C7, and thought that experience to be the easiest ever. After today's buying experience with Mike, there is no doubt why he is the best Corvette salesman in the country. In and out in less than an hour. Everything went smooth as silk, with all paper work and all necessary preparation completed prior to our arrival. After selling more than 3000 Corvettes in his career, Mike has it down. I can not speak highly enough about Mike Furman, Jackie Wells, and Criswell Chevrolet.

Honest and Professional
My son was shopping for his first car since graduating college and getting a job. He decided on a Chevrolet Cruze Diesel. The size was right, the engine was peppy and it gets great mileage. He did his shopping at several dealers and was able to negotiate a very good price with Jake at Criswell Chevrolet. Jake was persistent and helpful through the process. He knew he was competing with other dealers and was very aggressive in his pricing. Jake and Criswell were clearly a cut above the crowd. Jake and the car were ready when we arrived even though we were two hours late. The whole process took 30 minutes. In the end we got the car we wanted at an excellent price. It was my son's first car buying experience. He saw good dealers and bad. I expect he will buy more cars from Jake. I know I will.
2016 Corvette Z06/Z07 Purchase
Mike Furman is a superstar salesman who specializes in Corvettes. I've purchased probably 30 new cars in my lifetime and this ranks among the best, if not the best, experiences I've had. This experience is night and day better than any other Chevrolet dealer I've experienced (this is my 7th Corvette purchase.) If you are buying a Corvette, they are the 3rd largest dealer in the nation and Mike Furman is ridiculously knowledgeable, honest and helpful. I got the deal done in an afternoon with no hassles.

My wife and I worked with Russel Carter, who was nothing short of amazing. As a first-time leaser, I was very nervous, and had reservations about leasing altogether. UPDATED JUNE12-15 Disappointing sales experience
Here is the update to the review... I filled out a review for both Edmunds, DealerRater and another one on Monday the 8'th Within an hour of filling out a review at dealer rater I received a phone call from the director of business for Criswell, in charge of all the dealerships. She informed me that she contacted the manager and they have chosen to uphold their promise and replace the tires... I was shocked to receive that call... She asked that I remove the reviews I posted Let me first start by saying i'm happy that they made this right... Saved me from putting out over $1500 for non run-flats. The car is now whisper quiet... A complete 180 from its sound before... My father took the car up, waited a couple of hours and they replaced the tires and he considered the difference night and day. I called the woman (Sue) back and I thanked her for taking special care in our future business relationship... With Sues number in my pocket and the knowledge that she won't allow anyone to be taken advantage of I feel comfortable saying that Criswell has really made this right. I will be taking all of my future Chevy business to Criswell as i'm comfortable knowing that I won't having anymore issues. That in of itself is a huge plus...
Highly Recommend Criswell Chevrolet
Our experience with Crisswell was the best experience we have had with any dealerships. Russell communicated with us after hours and on his days off very promptly. He wasn't a pushy salesman as we have seen in our search for a new Tahoe. The exceptional deal they gave us for our trade allowed us for no money down. WOW and double WOW. We live an hour away from the dealership, which in the end was well worth it. When we walked in the dealership the atmosphere was very laid back. Everyone we encountered was very welcoming. This purchase was our 5 vehicle from Crisswell. Jackie, went over every detail about our financing, and again I must say was not pushy at all. To us Crisswell isn't just about getting the sales deal, they want there customers happy and to make the transition and easy overall experience. We were in and out in a little over an hour an half. EXCELLENT in our book. We had forgotten that in our deal Russell gave us a free vacation certificate, which we forgot about. Purchasing a vehicle has never been so easy!
I am a straight to the point guy. I do my research prior to going to a car dealer. When I go to the dealer I know what I want and I prefer to go straight to the point. I don't want to deal with a lot of hullabaloo and forcing me to buy a car I do not want in the first place. I always perceived that buying a vehicle was a lengthy process where the salesperson will bargain with me and push me to purchase a vehicle. I t was different with Dan. He knew what I wanted and got everything ready for me in no time. We did not go around in circles. He was still able to be complete and thorough with the short amount of time I spent at the dealership. Really great experience! For me, Criswell Chevrolet is number one!

Russell C is one of the best, and nicest, sales persons with whom I have ever worked in finding and buying a car. Jason W, the General Sales Manager, was also very accommodating. Jackie W was great to work with in terms of the financing and completion of the sale. The service department is also great! This was the second vehicle we purchased at Criswell Chevy in the past 18 months, and both times it was a good experience.
