Of all the many, many dealerships my husband and I visited in the weeks leading up to buying our new Forester, AutoNation Subaru Hunt Valley was the only place we didn't feel overly pressured into making a rush decision. We worked with Josh Wenderoth, who was super patient with us as we came and went multiple times asking to test drive different models and go over trim levels in great detail. When we were finally ready to make a decision, we got a great deal and everyone that was part of the buying process made it go smoothly and painlessly. We definitely recommend AutoNation Subaru Hunt Valley!

This place is great, and our salesperson, Josh Ingram, was fabulous -- attentive, clear, accommodating, informed, etc. We had been looking for a new used car for 3mos, almost got swindled at a dealership in NYC, and after finding AutoNation - Hunt Valley Subaru, we finally felt like we were in good hands. Jost got our car inspected, and the mechanics said it's in impeccable condition. I can't say enough good things about our car buying experience with these guys!!!

Ty was very helpful in finding us a replacement for our 2010 Subaru Forester. My wife and I prefer a manual over a standard transmission so it was hard to find an available 2017 Subaru Forester with a manual in the baltimore area. Ty found us one and we drove it out the door within a week. During the vehicle search he kept us informed of options available and projected delivery dates.

2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R

Good sales experience, solid car. Legacy certainly is not the sexiest sedan out there, and I would have gone with the manual trans had it been an option, but it's pretty well appointed as is, the 6 has an awful lot of kick, and the price point for reliable AWD and all of the tech package additions made the purchase a no-brainer. You also don't see much better re-sale value out there, so if Acura gets their TLX act together down the line and i want to move back to my Honday roots, I won't get bent over when selling the Legacy.

Would NEVER do business with them. Beware!

I would NEVER again consider doing business with AutoNation Subaru after the experience I had there on Saturday and would recommend that no one ever does business here. And this is not just because I waited there for FOUR hours and then the sales manager refused to sell me the car at the original price he had estimated for me (insisting he could only sell it at $1k more). It is because I had papers sitting in my car FOLDED IN HALF (so that you could not see what was written on the front of them) between the driver's seat and the passenger's seat. These papers happened to be papers from another dealership I had gotten a quote from and they had some numbers handwritten on the back. As we were discussing the new price that had been given to me after waiting 4 hours, I was handed photocopies of these papers. Whoever moved my car decided it was okay to unfold my personal papers, read them, bring them into the office, make photocopies of them, and then put the originals back in my car. I did not give permission for anybody to look at those papers, let alone make copies of them, and they had all of my personal information on them. The sales manager claimed that the papers just appeared on his desk and he wasn't sure who put them there. I am DISGUSTED by this behavior and would never trust AutoNation with my business.

Replaced and already new timing belt!!!

Was told Subaru recommended timing belt; didn't recall belt was replaced 5,000 miles previously. They could tell it didn't need replacing but did it In July, went to dealership for one purpose: to take care of airbag as per manufacturer recall. Was told that Subaru recommended my timing belt be changed, and that they happened to have a special on timing belt replacement right then. Recently visited my regular mechanic. He noted that he had replaced my timing belt JUST 5,000 MILES PREVIOUSLY. He said any mechanic would know upon seeing the belt that it was new and need not be replaced. Spoke with manager named Lee at the dealership about this today: he seemed to agree that the belt should not have been replaced. He spoke with his manager and then returned to me, and then Thomas, the manager we dealt with originally, simply repeated, "I would not have done work without your authorization." No response to the fact that the belt (and water pump and rest of kit) were clearly new and thus this work need not be done. No phone call at any point during the work to discuss this clear finding. It is my firm belief that (a) I should have been asked whether my timing belt had been replaced, which I was not. Had I been asked, I would have checked my records; and (b) the garage should have contacted me to let me know what they found. I'm not sure what standard practice is, but they did not ask me whether I wanted the "worn" belt they removed. Not surprising they didn't offer in this case. Be particularly wary of this "manager," Thomas--my wife and I felt he was being disingenuous the moment we encountered him, and it's fairly clear from this story that he is not honorable.

Came in for my first service. At the time I purchased my car I was told first service would INCLUED tire rotation free! There was a $62. charge! My truck has lifetime tire rotation and includes nitrogen inflation. You guys could do better with your prices!

insane price,never visit again!

My wife took our forester to oil change at this dealership. The oil change is about $50, besides this, they quoted $1900 for a must do list, including Four brakes&rotors($1100), alignment($130), sway bar($250), cabin air filter($140), brake oil($140) etc. then we took the car to Firestone, and only spent $700 on brakes & rotors plus brake oil. They even said alignment, filter and sway bar link are in good condition. The dealer is [non-permissible content removed] and dishonest. Never go back even change oil!
