2016 Buick Verano

This is my first time buying an American made car and a Buick plus dealing with Win Kelly. I have been a Honda owner since 1991. Barry Geis made it so simple to purchase my 2016 Buick Verano. I asked him to be patient with me as I was looking at other options besides Honda and didn't know much about my car options at Win Kelly. He was very patient and was great at answering all my questions. Barry Geis is very friendly, patient, outgoing, very knowledgeable, courteous, and an overall AWESOME car sales representative to deal with. I informed him that because my experience with him and Win Kelly was exceptional, that I would be a returning future customer. I went to Win Kelly via the Costco Auto Program and I also informed the Costo folks how awesome Win Kelly was to work with and they thanked me for my feedback.

Rock Star Service

I've purchased 4 cars from Win Kelly in 9 years. I have received nothing but exceptional service. Daniel Bryant, Jason Delaney, Chris Parsley, and Michelle Thomas are FANTASTIC to work with. Each individual provides amazing service, listens to the issues I was having and implemented a plan to make sure I was satisfied every time. Most recent experience with my old car and getting a flat tire; which you would've thought was the end of the world. Chris took excellent care of me. Making sure I knew that I would be taken care of and got my car issues solved in quick time. Since I purchased my last car from Dan I knew I didn't want to buy from anyone else. When I went to check out the new Buicks, Dan wasn't in the office yet. Jason happily showed me around and kept me company until Dan arrived. Then as always Dan made sure my car was perfect and had everything I required in my new ride. This includes going to check it several times as we were in the middle of the deal when I wanted to make sure it has this feature or that feature. He was very helpful with carrying my things from my old car to new since it was getting a new tire put on. He wasn't afraid to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the sale. The price was right on par with my expectations. Michelle then with her amazingly welcoming personality made it easy for me to feel comfortable signing my life away for my new 2016 Buick Verano. I LOVE my car! I love the staff! I can't imagine buying a car from any where else! Thanks Win Kelly!

Laid-back sales experience

On 9/26 I leased my 1st vehicle from Win Kelly. I've gone there for years solely for car service. But due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself in the market to purchase a new vehicle. I worked with Daniel Bryant in Sales. He was very knowledgeable about the GM lineup. He also listened to my prerequisites for the type of car I wanted to purchase and the payments I wanted to make. After test-driving a couple of automobiles, I kept coming back to the Buick. Though, I did go a little above what I intended to pay (who knew I would end up in a SUV), I wouldn't change a thing, I ended up getting a 2015 Buick Encore and I LOVE this little SUV. The sales team worked in a number of incentives to reduce the cost and what I would be paying per month. Most importantly I walked away not feeling as though I had been coerced or hoodwinked into something I really didn't want. Whenever, I happen to be in the market for another vehicle, I would certainly use Win Kelly again and work with Daniel B. for sure.

Unfortunate (Unforced) Errors

The dealer had the used vehicle I was looking for, thus I dealt with situations I would have otherwise walked away from. From only receiving a 1/4 tank of gas on vehicle delivery to changing stories on the ability to transfer tags to inaccurate information provided on the "grace" period, my sales experience was less than satisfying. The salesperson was very polite, however these shortcomings would have led to a lost sale if the product could have been found elsewhere.

Horrible Service Experiences

The worst service I have ever received...and repeatedly. I bought my SUV from this dealership in 2011 and the process was okay, middle of the road. Since then for the past 3 years, I have been going there to get my service and I have seen the service level decline each time. Right now it is downright horrible. If you call the phone number to get to the service department, they transfer you and the phone rings and rings and rings forever. Then when you hang up and call them again, they do the same thing over and over and over again. I have never been able to get to the service department in the past 6 months. I have had to leave several messages with them and with a manager just to get an appointment. I have gotten the outsourced company to remind me that I need a service, while I was waiting for someone to get back to me for the service. Even when I am in there getting a service, they are downright horrible. The last time they forgot about me for 3 hours. I don't think they would have remembered had I not brought it to their attention...and I had an appointment. I kept getting a low tire and kept telling them that I thought there was a leak and it took going there 3 times for them to repair. They kept just filling it with air and sending me home. I went there 3 times with an engine light one and I believe they just turned it off manually without checking it. The third time they figured I had a problem with the sensor. go figure.... I have gotten several service call surveys and I keep telling them that I am deeply unsatisfied and want a call. Never got one. Yesterday, when I asked why I couldn't get to the service department, the lady on the phone told me she had no idea. When I told her that this is not right, she told me to have a good day. I am having a great day at Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie. Thanks.

Worst mistake I made for my car!

I purchased my 2014 Chevrolet Impala from Win Kelly in November 2013 I have no complaints in regard to theirs sales team. However, in July my car was hit on the rear side by another vehicle and needed the paint repaired with my previous experience I thought highly of them and decided to take my vehicle there. That'’s when everything went downhill they repaired my car in two days, but then I had the worst call of my life my vehicle had been hit on their property by a truck my driver's side door was dented, mirror knocked off and some sort of damage to my fender I was unable to see my vehicle till later in the evening and they had already started repairs without consent. The headlight was also damaged which I had to fight to have fixed and I was told quote "The reason for the condensation in the headlight is because headlights breathe." In my experience headlight don't have water in them unless damaged. But, wait it doesn'’t end there I had to go 3 times to pick up my car. I sent it back the first time because the paint wasn'’t right they had clear coated dirt to my vehicle, the second time I went up the hood wasn't lined up correctly and my grill was sticking out about a half inch. Finally I was told my car was completed I go to pick up the vehicle and the Impala logo was missing from the vehicle which luckily they found also the door handle cover was miss placed and I seem to be the only one to notice that and they had to order me a replacement. They ordered the item in and I went to go pick it up and informed the manager there that my door lock was not correctly put in place and he told me to bring it back but I did not I will never take my car there ever again. Till this day my car still isn'’t right I don'’t have clear coat on the panel on my driver'’s side and my grill is broken they apparently broke a clip and I keep having to push it back in place so now I will be out of money to repair my car because I refuse to take it back to the body shop out of fear it will come back worse!

I recently visited Win Kelly for service for my Terrain. I have just moved back to the area and was surprised to see Win Kelly's renovated dealership. It was so nice. Great facility, people were very friendly and service was completed in the time promised. I couldn't ask for more. I'm so glad I have a dealership I can trust for service now that I'm back in Maryland. Thanks Win Kelly!

Missed Items

We took our Chevy Cruze Diesel in for the first of four free service appoints included with the purchase of our vehicle. We tried to schedule an appointment with the android phone application, but that proved to be a bit difficult since I am hard to contact during the day and didn't realize this dealership is not open on Friday. I came in a bit earlier than I requested for Saturday (my alternate time). They didn't look too busy, and they said it would take about an hour and a half. Work was completed within the estimated time frame. The maintenance should have included rotated tires and a refill of the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). I didn't notice that neither were on the invoice until I got home. When I called them they said they had not filled the DEF tank, but had done the tire rotation. They didn't offer me anything regarding the refill of the DEF tank, so I thought maybe it wasn't covered in the free maintenance (according to the Chevy website, it should have been). I really have doubts that the mechanic rotated the tires when it is not on the invoice. I have worked in auto shops, and they get paid for the work that is on the invoice. It seems highly unlikely that the mechanic did work that was not on the invoice and didn't want credit for performing the work. I don't know if they were being dishonest about what was done, but it seems unlikely that they rotated the tires given my own experience. With diesels, when the DEF tank runs out you can really have performance problems with the car (federal regulations), so they really need to get better about filling this on diesel cars. They also need to get better about recording the work that needs to be performed and invoicing correctly so that we have a proper record of the maintenance performed. I tried to email them about this so that the service manager would know about this issue, but they only let you use a web form, and it doesn't work from my computer (tried two browsers). I cannot find an email for them anywhere... Over all they rank about average so compared to the experience I have had with other dealers. I will continue to use them for the next three free maintenance routines, but unless they improve, they will only be getting my warranty work. They have a pretty good reputation among my neighbors, so I am hoping to see improvement over the next few service events.

I was drawn to this dealer via the internet and availability of type of Truck I was looking for. However, I have to say one of the easiest puchases I have ever made. No games, deception or several"managers" to deal with. I had to drive 130 miles to get there, it was worth it. Great price, good people. Probably will take the trip next time as well.

I just bought a used Mercury Milan from Win Kelly last week and I just want to say, these people are the best! In shopping for a car, I went to a couple other dealerships in the area, and none where as nice and helpful as the staff at Win Kelly. Freda actually sold me the car, and she was so sweet throughout the whole experience. From test driving and even navigating finance, she was there though everything when she really didn't have to. Rich the sales manager, and Phillip the finance manager did everything they could to make sure that; 1. I could afford the car, and 2. That I understood all the financial lingo and paperwork that could be overwhelming for some people. Oh and I can't forget Jared, the internet manager, that helped me set up appointments. Even after I purchased the vehicle and had to come back for minor adjustments (my alarm pad went dead, and I got a CD stuck in the CD player) he was super helpful. Everyone went well above and beyond the call of duty, and still are!! I will definitely come back when it's time to purchase a new car.

Instrument Cluster

I had a problem with my instrument cluster after the warranty expired. Win Kelly's service department worked with me and went to bat for me with Chevrolet. They replaced the instrument cluster in a matter of days and with their help it was done at a significantly reduced cost. Took the car to the "doctor"

I took my car for a scheduled brake flush and I added the oil change once I arrived at the dealer. The mechanic was already waiting for me to arrive - nice touch (let me say that I had over the years 4 foreign cars and I ALWAYS service it at this dealer). Adding additional requests was no problem. What I like particular about the dealer's setting is that you have your car under your supervision ALL THE TIME. Is not a "drop and forget" setting where the customer is in a building and service department miles away... The mechanic called me to explain what inspection is included in the oil change (and that's being done every time I go there). Thank you!

Appointment for Service

I had a Saturday appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and brake check. I was told that the entire appointment would take 1 hour at most. 2+ hours later when my car was ready, I was told by the technician that he had not checked my brakes. He was not aware of the request. This is the second time I have had such an experience and it will be the last. The service desk is not reliable at all.

This is the second vehicle that I bought at Win Kelly. I also regularly have my vehicles serviced there and have used the body shop too. I would recommend it to everyone. I was sad to see the 1-star rating, which I do not understand. Win Kelly found the perfect truck for me, going all the way west of Chicago to find it and get it delivered promptly. Great people, great service, and honest dealings. I have no hesitation to recommend the dealership for all of the services that it offers.
