Never have I been in a dealership where every person I came in contact with showed geniune care for me. From the guy who cleaned my new Kia to the General Manager. Brandon Stringfield showed me all the features including my UVO and Bluetooth. I went in to buy an Optima and ended up in the car I really wanted the Cadenza. Thank you Kia of Bowie!

They changed the price of the car at the last minute.

Let me start by saying I am a veteran, and they used that fact in their rebates. I sent my request to all Kia dealers in the Annapolis, Baltimore area which stated clearly, "I want to finance $9500 which will include freight and setup, for a 2016 white auto Soul base, using a 2012 Soul base w/64K miles, in perfect condition , new tires and battery. I will pay tax and title cost with a separate check." Kia of Bowie salesman called and agreed to do the deal, and would I come in immediately? I said yes and went to the dealership with my car and title. I restated my deal and the salesman checked with his management , checked my car, and still agreed. The manager left for the night but had a second in command in the building. He said “you want to finance $9500 and pay for freight and setup, right?” I said "No, the deal was for $9500 total, which includes freight and setup, do you understand?". He said “yes” and the salesman agreed. Fast forward to the final "financial guy" who is printing the bill. It is getting close to closing and I finally sign 10 papers including a "truth in lending" agreement. So he prints the final bill, explains all of the taxes incentives, rebates for financing through Kia, and finally points to the bottom line and says, ”you will finance $10600”. I said "No, that is not the deal. I said $9500 total". He said "that is freight and setup", I said "and that is to be included in the $9500, not added to it." I got up to leave and he said, "wait, we want you for a customer", and went outside with two other staff members, one was the second in command, that agreed to the deal earlier. He came back in and said, "we want to keep you as a customer, so we'll take off the freight, but we can't take off the $299 setup." I said, "Well I guess cheating me out of only $299 is better than $1100." So to get away from the [non-permissible content removed] before closing, and get my wife’s Mother’s day present, I signed, got my key and left. Earlier they asked not to pay off the loan for 3 months or Kia would penalize them for selling the loan just for the $1500 rebate. I guess I'll be paying it off this week. Go get them, Kia finance. So there is the whole story. They lied to me and cheated me, but not as much as if I hadn't have read the contract, explained the deal to three different people and shook their hand. Wait, I shook the hand of a car salesman. Yuk!

I went into Kia of Bowie, knowing that I would be denied and walk away with nothing. Mr. Earl worked with me, explaining everything that was happening during the process. He made me feel comfortable and told me that everything would work out. He kept his word. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Kia SouL +. I recommend Mr.Earl to everyone. He is great! He is patient and a very nice man.

I just recently traded-in a Scion TC and purchased a Kia Rio for my daughter. She is extremely happy with her new vehicle and that makes us parents super happy as well. Mr. Mansour Izadi (Mike) took great care of all of us (my daughter, my husband, my son, and myself) during the test drive and purchasing experience. We went through the financing with no issues thanks to Mat and Mr. Steve Jones. Mat was great, very helpful and very understanding of what we needed. Everyone was very friendly, respectful, cordial, and very, very, very helpful with the entire purchasing transaction. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to Kia of Bowie with no doubt.

I had problems with my down payment check being deposited too early causing an overdraft on my bank account. Today after almost 2 months, my car was purchashed on 10/4, the dealer said they need proof that the check was deposited too early! The overdraft fee of only 35.00 has not been paid to date. Also I requested handicapped tags. The dealer 2 said 2 weeks ago that they didn't know I requested handicapped tags. They are supposed to be ready by this friday. We shall see if that happens. As you can see, I have had a really bad experience with this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone!

Avoid Kia of Bowie

This dealer plays all the games that car dealers are famous for. The sales person lied to me about the price of the vehicle and when I got there the dealership started to play games with semantics to explain the lie. Basically the car they quoted would nto be available but since I was there anyway, shouldn't I consider a more expensive model. Don't waste your time if you are a serious buyer.
