EXCELLENT SALES PERSONNEL "SEE DEYBER"

Excellent experience. I went there an met with "Deyber", he was very professional. Answered all my questions, I did not feel rushed at all. He showed me what vehicle would be with in my budget, what vehicle matched my needs and walked me through he entire process. He is by far one of the most dedicated car sales person I have ever met. He welcomes you and treats you like family. I would recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership "Honda in Bethesda" to go see him or ask for him. You will not be disappointed, he will take care of you from the moment you step in to the moment you walk out with your vehicle.

BEWARE!!!! YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE YOUR CREDIT PULLED TO PURCHASE VEHICLE!!

So I purchased a vehicle from Ourisman in Bethesda this past Saturday. My sales representative Gerald was pleasant, so no complains about him....The FINACE Manager (Omar) on the other hand tried to play me for a foul! So I have been in the banking field for over 15 years, I currently work as a Lender Underwriter so I already know the in's/out's when it comes to purchasing a vehicle or applying for any loans. This past Saturday I went to Ourisman of Bethesda with my husband and my 1 year old daughter. My husband was looking to trade in his vehicle and purchase a new one. WE already had a check from NAVY Federal Credit Union because they were going to do our financing. After the trade-in evaluation was done and we agreed on a price for the vehicle I was then referred to the finance manager. As soon as I saw him, the first thing I told him was that I already have my own financing and I had my check with me to pay for the car. we went back and forward for about an hour because he insisted that my husband and myself had to have our credit pulled because they needed to "Verify my identity". I then ask him if it was because of the Patriot Act, He says yes....Insist that every dealer has to pull credit and when I told him that I had just purchased a vehicle from College Park Honda and they didn't pull my credit he then says to me "Well, you know they could have pulled it without even asking for your social security number, right"....My reply to him was "Ok, well then that means you don't need my social"! After going back and forward, my 1 year old crying because she was tiered, me needing to get out of that dealer because I had other things to do and my husband insisting that he wanted that particular car (we couldn't find the color he waned at any other dealer) I finally just gave in and signed the form to have my credit pulled. About 10 minutes later Omar comes back, offers me a rate and AGAIN I told him that I was not financing with Honda. At this point I'm even questioning MYSELF because I didn't understand....maybe the laws changed and I wasn't aware or something like that because I just knew that a dealer didn't need your social security number or to pull credit just to sell you a car. So of course, when I get back to work, I go to my SVP and ask him "Are dealers now required to pull your credit to sell you a car"....And to my surprise, HE SAYS NO! I then did a little more digging and did my research online and again, THE ANSWER IS NO!!! I would like to have this inquire REMOVED from me and my husbands credit report!!! I actually just got off the phone with some "Sales Manager" who INSISTED that he was the "Spokes Person" for the Owner and that I could not speak to the owner and says that the whole "credit pull" was HIS POLICY! I'M PISSED AND AM REQUESTING THE INQUIRES BE REMOVED ASAP! If you are reading this, please note that there is no reason for a dealer to pull your credit unless you are financing with them! I trade my cars in every 3 years and have NEVER had my credit pulled from a dealer if am not financing with them! I've never even had to give them my Social security number. Last year, I purchased a vehicle from College Park Honda and as soon as I told them I had my own financing they said OK, and moved on with the sale! I've also purchased from Toyota of Bowie, CarMax and Mercedes of Silver Spring!! this [non-permissible content removed] was the only one that came to me with this BS!! And believe me that had it not been because my husband was SO stuck on the car being black-on-black and that there were no nearby dealers that had the vehicle he wanted in the color he wanted, I would have WALKED RIGHT OUT THAT DEALER!!!

Poor Excuses Made for Multiple Customer Service Issues

On April 1st I made an appointment online for a 9:30am appointment on April 7th. Several days before the appointment I called the dealership to confirm my appointment and pricing for the services I'd requested. When I arrived, my car was checked in by the Asst. Service Manager Dan Jennings who took note of the issues I wanted diagnosed. I was given every indication that my car would be seen right away and had chosen to wait at the dealership. At 11am Dan called to inform me that my car was just now being seen and it would take two hours to evaluate my issues (wind shield wipers not working, power locks not working, brake light wouldn't turn off). I reluctantly agreed, frustrated that my car had not already been seen and that I had not been informed of the longer, more expensive diagnostic time evaluation up front before waiting. After not receiving an update two hours later, I finally confronted Dan at his desk at 1:40pm. He said my paperwork was ready and he would review it with me. He then disappeared for another 15 minutes. When he returned he told me that they had only been able to figure out repairs for the windshield wiper and locks but had yet to understand why the brake light would not turn off. When I expressed frustration over the extended wait times he said that there was no point in making an appointment as they were unable to guarantee a car would be seen at the scheduled appointment time but on a rolling drop off basis. He then said that they usually did not do diagnostic work on the weekends, which is why there was an extended wait time, and that I would have been better off dropping the car off on a week day. When I noted that none of these suggestions had been communicated to me when I'd called to confirm my appointment or by him at 9:30am when I checked in he brushed it off like that was just how things were. His behavior was dismissive, hurried and like I was wasting his time and should have known better. My experience with the service at this dealership was very negative and left a very bad impression. I do not plan to return.

Poor customer service

I scheduled an online appointment for service for the passenger airbag recall for Honda Accords. I took time off of work and drove the 45 minutes up to the dealership, only to be told that they were out of stock of the parts needed to complete the recall. No one attempted to call me or otherwise alert me to the fact that they could not perform the scheduled service and that I should reschedule. When I explained that I had taken time off of work to come to a *scheduled* appointment - i.e., the dealership had my name, phone number, email, and was aware the service visit was solely for the airbag recall - the service person did not seem particularly concerned and offered only that I could try again the next day. I find it disappointing that Ourisman either does not have a sufficient understanding of its own inventory to properly schedule service appointments or doesn't seem to think it is important to alert customers that their scheduled service has to be rescheduled. I will not be coming back, and they have lost a long-term Honda customer.

Purchasing a New Pilot with David Monash

My husband and I had an exceptionally positive experience with David Monash recently when we were in the process of replacing our 2006 Honda Pilot. We had test driven another vehicle from another dealership and upon our arrival we were put in touch with David Monash. He was friendly, straight forward, knowledgeable and expert in explaining the features on the 2018 Pilot rode in and the 2017 Pilot we ended up purchasing. Our test driving experience was informative and exciting as we tested the safety features on the highway. The negotiation process was well managed and although we were at the dealership late, we were not rushed. We also had a few features added to the vehicle so that it would require pick up at a later date. David offered to personally deliver the car to us rather than us go to pick it up. It was a level of customer service we greatly appreciated as our weekday schedules are frenetic. Upon delivery of the vehicle David had the patience to show me, and our excited children, all the features our new car had. I would absolutely recommend David Monash to any of my friends and family.

Easy, smooth, friendly sales service

I mostly worked with Deyber Mendez when I was buying a 2018 CRV this past December. He was friendly, patient and always available when I needed something. I went back several times because I am not an impulse buyer. I need to research and talk through things, and he was patient and not pushy throughout the process. He even stayed late a few times when needed. Same goes for other staff I worked with intermittently, all prompt and courteous. You would think friendly and good service would be a given when someone is trying to sell you something, but I find good service is extremely lacking a lot these days - but not here. I have not needed service yet, but I also chose this location because I heard from friends that the service here is great too. All in all, a great experience, and Deyber was great to work with.

Recently purchased a Honda Civic for my son from David Monash. He was very knowledgable and extremely patience with my son's numerous questions. He made the sales process easy and took the time to figure out what we were looking for. On the test drive he showed my son how all the equipment worked and also the different safety features. Unlikely other experiences with purchasing a car, he did not try any sell us the car but rather informed us of what the car offered. He let the car sell itself. I very much appreciated this. It was probably the most thorough test drive I have been on. He is very nice and took the time answering questions and made sure we understood the varies features and help my son set up his phone prior to us leaving. From start to finish David Monash from the Sales department was an amazing person to deal with. he was on top of everything and always made sure to keep me updated with what was going on with the paper work, he was very attentive and went out of his way to even teach me how to drive a stick shift vehicle. Which to my understanding that was probably not part of his job description, not once but twice was he on the road with me giving me tips on how to maneuver the vehicle and its stick shift functions. I also want to thank and note the great experience i had with Diego, he was very detailed with his explanation of the paper work and helped me meet my needs as soon as i explained exactly what i was looking for. My experience as a first time new car owner has been definitely the best thus far I am very satisfied with my vehicle and i would be very happy to refer anybody looking for a vehicle straight to you guys for the great hospitality and good work you guys did . Took My Car in For Service; They Crashed it and Denied it

I took my 2016 Honda Accord Touring in for service on Saturday, May 6. While in Ourisman's possession, my vehicle was badly damaged. No one bothered to tell me what had happened, and when the vehicle was returned to me, I honestly did not notice it had been in some sort of collision. The fact that Ourisman staff would believe they could get away with something like this is quite disturbing. From Ourisman, I went directly home and it was not until I got there that my wife saw my car and we realized someone had either crashed it, or crashed into it. Needless to say, this happened at the dealership. After making multiple calls to the dealership -- and being treated very disrespectfully -- I took the car back to Oursiman and spoke with Al Samateh. He didn't appear very concerned; in fact, he appeared to be annoyed, as if I were causing him some sort of inconvenience. After more than an hour, he informed me that he would get back to me on Monday (two days later!) Indeed, after several calls I made Monday morning (I had to call them), Al finally got back to me and informed me that Ourisman would "take care of the car", and that I should bring it in for the repairs. While I was happy that my car would be repaired, Ithe attitudes of the staff -- and senior staff -- was highly inappropriate, rude, condescending, and altogether unprofessional. For all the trouble I was put through, I have yet to receive a simple apology. A simple apology. Is that really so much to ask? I am very surprised by this treatment and I'm overwhelmingly disappointed. In fact, I am the victim of the reckless and irresponsible behavior of the staff, yet it has been the staff that have treated me as if I were a dishonest person trying to scam them, when it has been them that tried to get away with damaging (considerably, I might add) my car. I took my car in the next day, expecting it to be FULLY and UNCONDITIONALLY repaired. After more than a week, they called to say the car was ready. I went to pick it up, and one of the smaller pieces had not been repaired. They didn't even bother to order a new part. They actually went out of their way to NOT repair the damages fully. And again, they thought they would get away with it. So, I took it in again. Two days later, they call to say the car was ready. Guess what? They managed to damage and nick one of the parts that they had just replaced. And guess what, here again they thought they would get away with it. So, I have to drop my car off for a THIRD time. And guess what? Still no apology, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
