I had sent an e-mail to follow pricing on my 2014 Chevy Equinox. Eva responded to my e-mail. I did not respond back right away as I wanted to look at it first. After seeing the car in person I did get back. She got back to me with questions on my interest in the vehicle. Once I made up my mind I called and left a message that I would be up to try it out. Once we got there Eva let us drive it and she was great at explaining the features that the car had. She had done her homework!! We than agreed on a price very quickly. We returned after the weekend to pick up the car. She was waiting with everything ready to go. As we did pay cash it was an easy purchase and everything went smoothly. The young man that did the final paperwork was very friendly and did a great job as well. I would have no problem returning in the future or recommending your dealership to any of my friends. That you for a great buying experience!!!

Jim Poulin Service Manager Had a very professional experience with Caleb the Service Consultant. Unfortunately this is not the case with the Service Manager Jim. Though I can understand he may have to deal with many mechanical frustrations from customers, I believe this is an expectation for him to handle. An opportunity that could have been resolved with great service was instead left with ultimatums and me without a working vehicle after I have already paid over $2k in repairs. I am disappointed in Jims ability to be able to be customer focused in which left me with a very poor customer experience.

Burnt by O’Connor Chevrolet

Last Monday I contacted O’Connor Chevrolet in Augusta Maine inquiring to purchase a new Chevy Avalanche. I was told by Steve D. after he talked to two general managers that since I had to drive so far to get there they would guarantee that they would beat any other offer by $500. After researching the vehicle I wanted, I found two at O’Connor’s: VIN 3GNTKGE7XDG376686 and VIN 3GNTKGE7XDG191571 making a firm offer in writing on Tuesday July 30th. After they ignored my offer I contacted Steve B. at Littleton NH Chevrolet. I made an agreement with Steve for either of the same two vehicles for the same price I offered O’Connor. Steve stated it would not be a problem obtaining the swap in time for the end of the month. When O’Connor learned I was purchasing it through Littleton they refused the swap. I was told by another local dealer, Foster P. at Cantin Chevrolet that since O’Connor was “working me” they refused the swap and if it was him he would “up the price to retail”. When I discovered this I contacted O’Connor stating I would be happy to buy either vehicle for the agreed upon price, even telling them I would not hold them to the $500 under guaranty they promised. They refused stating they would sell it for $1,743 over the agreed price. The owner of O’Connor, Randy H. refuses to take or return my calls. Talk about holding hands in order to burn the consumer!
