Internet/out of town buyer beware
Called spoke with Ray was told the f150 I was looking at was perfect running condition and everything worked. Was delivered at halfway point started to drive and noticed whining noise in back and windows not working. Deleivery guys took off as soon as they handed over the key. $3300 in repairs. I gave them an opportunity to address and no response. Very unprofessional. They obviously do not back up what they tell you.
An open mind helps.
Auto Mall of Springfield was exactly as I expected. I expected a wide variety of options and was actually very impressed with just how deep the inventory ran! As others have attested, Ray was incredibly helpful despite being swamped with people shopping in the rain and immediately helped us test drive three different cars. Yeah, they varied in price, miles and even smells, but I understood what I was doing. Folks that expect perfect used cars and stroke happy salesmen for Thousands below market price should go ahead and shop the other guys. They’re happy to stroke the money right out of your wallet and still give you a used car. Thanks again Ray and crew for being an enormous credit to your profession and showing us that buying a used car is just a simple thing if you approach it honestly and with an open mind.
Nice People/Horrible Cars
They seemed nice and honest when dealing with them but fast forward several months and the vehicle they sold me is a complete lemon. I have dumped thousands of dollars into fixing it, and more than its worth at this point. The electric is all failing and as of today the transmission is failing as well. Looking back, I should have ran when then had the car running already when I got there. Lesson learned.
