Unsafe and Incompetent

Brought the car in for brake work (ABS light and E Brake light came on). $1500 later, the car was flat out unsafe to drive as you couldn't slow the car down unless you pushed the brake pedal all the way to the floor and really put all your weight behind it. Also, the ABS Light and E Brake light were still on. Technicians claimed it was safe and the brakes were fixed - so clearly not competent or safe. Service Center Manager sided with technicians and blamed "rain" for why the technician didn't realize brakes were not safe/fixed.

Car not available when we got there.

Called to confirm car was available as we live almost an hour away. Salesman confirmed over the phone that it indeed was and asked if we could be there before 2:30 that day. We told him we were on our way and that we were 45 min to 1 hr away. We arrived within the time we said we would. When we arrived and had to search out the salesman he told us that the car was NOT there but would be there in 45 to an hour. We asked to see the manager. Ariana came out and said "what's up?" She apologized but we received no explanation from anyone. She proceeded to want to show us other cars. Bait and switch? You decide. We walked out but before leaving parking lot received a call back that the original car we came to see WAS there! The entire dealership was very unprofessional. ÎHorrible experience. Would not buy from them if they were the last dealership in the state.

Maria Payan and John Lee did an excellent job with my Rav4 Hybrid purchase!! Both were friendly and personable and cover any question I had. 10/10 would recommend this dealership to any and all in the area or surrounding areas.

I expressed an interest in a Prius and was told that the price, because of a market-adjustment fee, would be $3,000 above MSRP. Shop around if you are in the Chicago area. There are Toyota dealerships willing to sell at MSRP.
